NEW 17" PB - Compatible with other 1.67 G4 17" Batteries?

Hey all- i know one of the selling points of the 'new' powerbooks is that they're supposed to have better battery life -- is that because of new battery technology or superior power managment?
Is my extra 17" PB 1.67 battery compatible with the new powerbooks?

I talked to an Apple Genuis at my local Apple store on Oct. 19. He confirmed the new PB batteries are the same as the previous batteries. No change. Your extra PB battery should work fine with the new machines. The longer life must be derived from a more efficient power management system in the computer.

i had the same problem before using a fresh install of Windows 8.1. I have resolved this issue by running the program compatibility wizard. This I did by right-clicking on the iTunes icon in the desktop, selecting Troubleshoot compatibility, waited for it to detect compatibility issues and when presented with the following options: 1.) Try recommended settings; 2.) Troubleshoot program, I chose the latter. When asked what problems I noticed, I checked the following: "The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run" and "The program requires additional permission"
After that, it tired to resolve the issue, and provided the necessary settings to run iTunes. Now it's running flawlessly. I have Avast anti-virus installed though.

I have in my company CS5 Suite and we are planning to upgrade only Flash Builder from 4 to 4.5. Would it be still compatible with other CS5 tools, e.g. with Flash Profetional 5?

If the main router on your network is also an Apple product, it might be possible to connect the Time Capsule using wireless only. Please post back to provide the model number of the product that you have in order to check for compatibility.

I put songs on it ( and it shows on my mac that the songs are on the ipod (Songs from cd's) when I disconnect my ipod the songs are not showing on the ipod (but they on it) except one song that I purchased on itunes (this songs shows on the ipod) I got the new itunes and OS X Lion 10.8.5 on my Mac. Pixel Aspect CS4 is no compatible with other systems/softwares

If you make a video with a circle twisting around itself in CS4 in a comp like dvpal (PAR 1,09) and export to other system like smoke, flame, avid, final cut, When import, the video is ok, but if you want twist de video around itself (IN SOME OF THIS SYSTEMS) the circle deforms like an oval or an egg. This dont occur if you do the circle in previous after effects with PAR 1,07 because the settings match with the other systems (avid, etc). The same deformations occur whit if you make a circle in a still image. Make a circle in CS4 in DVPAL (1,09) and export like still image,import and rotate in other software (avid, finalcut, smoke, etc.), it look like an egg. So what happen with this? This new Pixel aspect is no compatible with the other softwares!. This is bad!!!What's the solution? Must wait for the correction in all the other softwares? I don't think so. Sorry my english. Can you post a screen shot of this error showing in a flame?
Please note that the presets in CS4 are just that; presets that you can easily change or ignore. If you're working with a system that dislikes the correct values; by all means use the old values when you're setting up and rendering your AE project.
The CS4 PAR values are technically correct, it's just that the industry have been ignoring the "blanking" in video for all these years.

Why isnt my new sony camcorder compatible with mac?

just bouught a new sony camcorder 1080p model HDR-CX110 and i recorded a video and took a couple photos,i started reading the manual and it says the enclosed softeare is not compatible with mac, they gave a website for mac users to go to for help, on the site it states that only still images can be transfered to a mac. Sure enough i pluged it n and only the stills show up,not the video.What do i do?am i screwed?

Return the camcorder and purchase one that is Mac compatible. Simple as that!

I'd like to transfer those data to my new nokia phone (I haven't bought it yet, but it won't be the same because mine is not available anymore (6131, too old allegedly)). Can files related to my nokia 6131 can be transferred to another nokia phone compatible with PC suite (or Ovi suite) ? cause I read somewhere that my PC suite contact file version is related to my 6131, and it could happen that my new phone won't recognize the file I saved.

New Keyboard Not Compatible With All USB Flash Drives

I've noticed that the new super-thin iMac keyboards are not compatible with all USB Flash Drives. Here's an example.
I have 2 USB Flash Drives. One is a ByteStor 2GB USB 2.0 High Speed Dataferry Flash Drive, the other is a Kingston DataTraveler 1GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive. Neither of these drives used to work with the previous design of iMac keyboard, giving me the "low power" warning.
However, the ByteStor works just fine with the new super-thin iMac keyboard, but oddly enough, the Kingston DataTraveler doesn't. Does anyone know why this is? What's the difference? When buying a new USB Flash Drive, how do you know if it's compatible with the new iMac keyboard or not?

Thanks. Yeah the Kingston DataTraveler works just fine if I plug it into one of the USB 2.0 ports on the back of the iMac. But if I plug it into the new thin Apple Keyboard, it gives the low power warning.

What new monitors are compatible with my Mac Pro 2008

My monitor Samsung Sync Master didn't turn on the next day after simple putting the computer to sleep at night. Now I am searching for a new monitor and want o make sure I find on that is compatible with my Mac Pro 2008. What do I need to pay attention to while searching?

Citrix application does not launch in MAC using Firefox 2.0 and new version not compatible with MAC i am using.Please advice.

Is New Mac Pro Compatible with Logic X

Im interested in getting the new mac pro. Is this compatible with Logic X plugins does anyone have it yet working with Logic pro. I have a Mac Pro 3.33ghz 6 core. Is this 10 times better or just a little. I already have good SSD drive so loading and streaming samples is lightning fast.

hi i have another question i don't know if anyone knows. in Logic X when I pen the mixing board the scrolling lags for a second and stutters lags for a couple of movements then it scrolls back and forth normally. but when I shrink the arrange window with the mixer to a smaller size it gets faster as I shrink the screen.
I have a HP 30" monitor hooked up by dual DVI cable. 60hz refresh rate. A GTX-680 2g Video Card.
My friedn has a imac 27" i7. I have a mac pro 3.33ghz 6 core. His mixing board does not lag. also copiny plugins is slow on mine. his did not lag.

As said in the subject, I was wondering +if anyone knows yet+ if the car charger/fm transmitters made for the 4th Generation Nanos are compatible with the new 5th Generation? If so, what's the most reliable charger/transmitter?

I have a FM transmitter which I use with a 2nd Gen Nano and it also works with a 5th Gen Nano. Hence I would assume a transmitter which worked with a 4th gen also works with a 5th gen. After all, it is all about the connector and that is always the same.
