New 2007A PL 38 Install - Getting Error Message 60070-15

Hello Experts,
Our first implementation of 2007A and we have not been able to figure out what is causing the "Connection to license server failed" error. Seems it behaves a bit differently from 2005A.
Can we get a bit of assitance as to what is causing this error?

Kindly refer to SAP Note 1142479, which will not only provide an explanation as to probable cause, but also solution.
Should the issue persist, please uninstall & reinstall the server tools, also ensure thereis no antivirus/firewall running between the client and server, or any application blocking ports 30000, 30001.

I'm trying to add my new domain name and I'm getting error message that says: 'Cannot add domain because this domain already exists. Please delete the domain and I already deleted it along with all the 'A Records', 'CNAME Records (Alias)', MX Records', and 'Advanced DNS Records'. I have a ton of new fans coming to the site tonight. Help!!!

Did you ever setup another trial BC site before and attach that domain name? I'm pretty sure that if the domain name is attached to BC's nameservers already even if it's under another account then it won't work. Not 100% sure about it but it's a likely culprit. Try to type the subdomain you are adding into a browser and add "/admin" and see if you can login to BC-- if it's an old site you had setup then you should remove the subdomain from that account first and then try to add it to your newer BC site.

Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues with the latest iTunes update. Let’s troubleshoot the iTunes installation by completely removing and reinstalling iTunes and all related components (it is important to remove all components in the order listed).

Connecting a new ipod to my computer- Getting error message

Hope someone can help me with this one...I am trying to download music from my computer to my new ipod (have another one too) and am getting the following error message:
"The IPOD "SHABNAMS" can not be used because it requires itunes Version 7.0 or later. Go to itunes.com to download the latest version of itunes or install itunes from the cd that came with your ipod."
I have version 7.0 downloaded already and was even able to sync the ipod with my laptop, but I keep getting the message above with my desktop computer.
Any ideas onw hat to do?

I've been using Firefox for years now, but recently I had some problems with my computer and had to re-install Windows. I am now running Windows 8.1. I can't install Firefox now. It's very strange. When I attempt to install, I get an error message that says, "The website declined to show this webpage". It says the most likely cause is that the website requires you to log in. I have never experienced this issue before and like I said, I've been using Firefox for years. My anti-virus software found that the installation is accessing a web resource called DynamicOfferScreen, so I think the installation is corrupt. Can someone send me a link to download a clean installation?

You might have loaded an unofficial bundle advertised as a Firefox download...
Please start with the Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program. (Use the charms bar search box if necessary to find it.) Click the "Installed on" column heading to group by date and reveal what bundled items may have snuck in. Remove everything you do not know to be legit and valuable.
Next, in Firefox, review your extension and disable/remove anything unrecognized or questionable. if in doubt, disable. You can do that on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions.
Finally, after clearing those out, mop up with some of the scanning/cleaning programs listed in our support article: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]].
Back to normal?

OID connector install, getting error message

I am trying to install the OID connector and keep getting the following error message:
DOBJ.XML_IMPORT_ERROR
Unable to save dataobject for MIL
I've done a lot of searching and could not find what MIL means. What does this error message mean and how can I correct it? Please let me know if other information is needed.

I have not made any manual changes to the XML. This was the first connector I have tried to install.
Before the install, I created some resource objects. Would these be getting in the way? Is there anyway to rollback before I created these resource objects? When trying to delete the resource object, an error message say I need to delete the tables before deleting the resource objects.

I don't mean to step on any toes here but it seems that the root of the problem is being ignored. I offered before that the problems you are experiencing are due to inconsistencies in the Windows registry. While I could speculate on the various methods of how this came to be, I don't have that kind of time nor is there a need. More than likely it is some type of malware that has infected the system but that should be explored on more suited forums such as MajorGeeks.com or BleepingComputer.com. The way I see it, you have a few paths you can take, all of which will lead you to the same place: no more error 1606 and a functional Reader:
Option 1: Run the Windows Live OneCare free safety scanner to resolve any broken registry links it can find.
Option 2: Manually fix the "broken" registry entries in the Windows registry. While I understand Pat's hesitation to do so, the truth of the matter is it will resolve the immediate issue. Once the APPDATA path is corrected, you should then be able to install Reader.
Option 3: Restore Windows to a previous date using System Restore located in Help & Support of the Start menu.
Option 4: [SLEDGE HAMMER] Reinstall Windows over the top of the current installation (NO FORMAT). Use this option only if you have no other recourse. The potential to lose all personal data and settings is high if this option is not performed correctly. If this option is chosen, be certain to use a "setup" profile (username) different than your current username. If you only have a manufacturer's system restore disk rather than a Windows CD/DVD, you may not have the option NOT to format which WILL result in the loss of personal data. This option should only be performed by someone who has previous knowledge of such or is willing to learn even at the expense of data loss/time/effort.
I HIGHLY recommend that any and all personal data is backed up to an external location such as a USB key, CD/DVD, or external hard drive prior to performing option 2 or 4 above. If you would like any of the options explained in greater detail, feel free to ask and I will oblige.

Mozilla was crashing every few seconds and I couldn't install the update. I removed the old to install the new and now I can't install - getting error messages that close themselves.

When I try to install I receive this message:
"Firefox has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will clsoe the program and notify you if a solution is available."
This happens when I select RUN to install Firefox 9.0.1
I removed the old version because it was crashing everytime I tried to use it and it wouldn't let me update with the new.
I HATE IE, and need my Firefox back --- I am dead in the water for work without it.

Do a clean (re)install and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

If you want, you could also use Hiren's BootCD to make a bootable CD with many options and programs on it (I keep one, just for certain situations) that will allow you to do the same things.
