New AG2712A troubles

I owned a few dozen of desktops/laptops in the past and this is my first All In One. I like this concept, but I am having difficulties from the day one. First of all the microphone is too weak for Skype calls, I mean it's almost seems like it's defective because it was completely unusable with all volumes maxed out.
Second issue is completely got me puzzled what to do. It was doing windows updates and then it got blank screen which was stuck for a long time. I rebooted the machine and it gave me a Windows 8 error that something is wrong and proceeded to do automatic repair. Repair failed and got me to Advanced screen where I could try to reset the settings etc... Since I just got the machine I did not have the time to make the recovery disks, so total bummer. The Windows recovery didn't work at all. Luckily I had Windows 8 Pro disk, so I installed a new copy of Windows, but after installing everything it wasn't booting to desktop, just showing blank blue screen. Probably drivers, but I don't know how to proceed from here, since I can't get to the desktop even in Safe Mode.

0New Zen trouble adding a memory card (not seen)?8I have a new zen 4gb unit and love it, saw it has a memory card slot so i stuck an 8gb sdhc sandisk 3 extreme memory card in there, figured I could dump more fun stuff in there on it but when i use the zen explorer i don't see that card.
I formatted the sdhc card in fat 32 and named it sd4zen yet when its in the zen and i check my computer I am not seeing the card in the windows menus to drag stuff over onto for the zen nor is it showing in any of the zen media explorer areas.
Do i need to dump stuff onto the memory card externally (thru a card reader first) then insert it and access that thru the memory part of the zen menu, or are the zens not able to read from an sdhc sd card or is 8 gb too big (compatability)?

I am a dork, a few mins messing with it i realized in the main menu of the zen with the card inserted hit removable disk and hook up via usb, now my computer sees the sd4zen dri've and i can dump more fun stuff for zen on there...
Sorry to take up space maybe someone will read this and help them with the same issue i was having or mods if you choose just delete.

New laptop & trouble transferring itunes library

I am having trouble transferring the contents of my itunes library to the new computer. The songs are all in the library but there is a grey ! next to all songs that were not purchased by me. I have many that were put on there from my cd's or from my husbands itunes purchases. Is there a way to make them work? BTW I no longer have my original laptop as I deleted the library & gave it away before I tried to play a song.

If resetting the que fails try deleting the printer and reinstalling (delete and allow your mac to find it again). This has worked for me in the past when I had trouble with the que.
If that fails you can search the HP website for a OS-X compatible driver for this printer model and try using that instead of the pre-installed driver selected by OS-X.

New itunes, trouble with syncing

My itunes was recently removed from my computer, and im having a little bit of trouble with it. is it possible to put the music from my ipod to my itunes? because its not letting me.

Kim, sorry, but I couldn't get what you are trying to do.
iTunes jargon
RESTORE - to erase all data, ie music, address, video etc in the connected iPod and populate them with factory settings.
Why do we need to do this? When the iPod hardisk filesystem is corrupted and the iTunes cant map the iPod hardisk file structure, to add new data, music, videos etc.
SYNC - The process, where iTunes overrides all data, music, videos in the iPod, with the iTunes Library. So if the iTunes library in your PC is blank, then iTunes will erase your iPod, till blank.
iTunes Library - the folder in your PC/MAC that contains all your data/music/video etc. The iTunes does not treat the iPod as a store, but rather as huge landfill, so you need 3rd party software to recover any data from the iPod back to the PC/MAC.

New computer, trouble transferring CS4 Design Premium

I had CS4 Design Premium (educational) on my 2006 MacBook Pro. The computer crashed, I bought a 2013 MacBook Pro, and I'm trying to transfer the license/product onto the new computer. I don't have the original discs, but I'd backed the software up in Time Machine. CS4 uploaded onto the new computer, but gave me a licensing error when I tried to open it. I've uninstalled it on the 2013 Mac, got my serial number from MyAdobe account, and am trying to upload it again, but it's telling me my serial number isn't valid.
I've found through the forums/troubleshooting there are a few reasons why this isn't working:
-The new hardware/new Mac software isn't compatible with the CS4
-Every product in the suite has its own serial number and has to be entered individually **(I don't know where to find these individual numbers)
-Educational discs purchased through 3rd parties (college bookstore) might have different serial numbers/product codes
Anyone have any idea how I can make this freakin' thing work? I need to get my CS4 working again for school/work, and can't afford to buy another version.

cs4 is compatible with lion, mt lion and mavericks, but do NOT transfer the files. use the installation files to install your programs.

and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

New Cartridge Trouble OfficeJet 4620 All in One

I just purchased a black ink cartige for my Office Jet 4630. I purchased a 564 XL black. Once i intalled the cartridge I tried to use my copy function and it shot out a very ugly copy. On to subsequent tries I recieved basically a blank piece of paper. I went to the store and exchanged it for another cartridge with the result being a blank copy. Per the printer the cartridge is installled. Thinking that maybe the other cartridges were low and it was being annoying because despite my wanting a black copy it wanted new cartridges I switched them all out. Blank page again. I went into the printer application on my lap top and printed a Diagnostic page and where the black would be its white. I then tried to clean the print heads becuse I have been using the copy function quite a bit lately and prnted another diagnostic page with no change. How can I correct this issue?

If the troubleshooting steps there do not resolve the issue I sould suggest you contact HP, 1-800-HPINVENt if you are in the US or see the document here for elsewhere. They may be able to help resolve the issue even if the printer is not in warranty.

New Computer - Troubles syncing and accessing content

I've recently got a new laptop. It's running on Windows 7, so I first thought it was an issue with Win7, however I don't believe that anymore.
My old computer, I reformatted before deauthorising my itunes account, but that's ok since I still had 3 computers left I could authorise. I've authorised the new computer to my account, made sure I have the most up-to-date version of itunes and yet I'm having problems.
It begins to sync, but then stops. No changes get made. Nothing happens. I have managed to transfer the content that was on there back to itunes (thankfully) but I can't actually do anything with my iPhone 3Gs through the computer. I can't play the music, I can't edit it. I can sync new applications. all I can do is transfer new pictures by going in to the iPhone's file in "My Computer" and I can transfer new voice memo's to itunes.
As I said before, I thought it was a Windows 7 thing, but I have since tried my phone in an XP computer and a Vista computer. I've tried it in the old computer after it was reformatted. NONE of these work.
I tried to restore the phone, had the 3.2.1 update download for it, then it came up with an error saying there were issues with the iPhone restore server, and to try again later. But it made the file disappear. I can't afford to keep trying to download a 306mb file just because itunes decides since it isn't using it RIGHT NOW that it doesn't need it.
Does anyone have any suggestions? The closest retailer store is 3hours from me, and my service provider was absolutely no help. I just want to be able to sync my phone to my computer and run it like I used to. I can't afford the data costs to keep updating important application updates through the phone because itunes wont let me sync the updated files to it.

try the following:
get your hands on a vista machine.
run Itunes setup again. But this time say repair (if no Itunes installed before then of course run setup).
Then go to control panel, and then Administrative tools, and run services.
When the list comes up, look for "AppleMobiledevice",
The "status" and "startup type" columns should say "started" "Automatic", if not
if not, then right click on "AppleMobileDevice" and click "start" or "restart". fi successful, right click again and choose property, if "startup type" not "Automatic" change it to "Automatic". click Apply at the bottom of the property when done. Reboot.
Now read the follow the instructions on this link and hope it helps you.

New iPad: trouble with downloading apps.

I just bought a new iPad. I cannot download apps for it. I tried to download a free app. I entered all of my information and it just says at the top "Please contact iTunes support to complete this transaction". I gives no explanation as to why I have to contact support. What is wrong with this thing?

They are very good about getting back to you. It may take up to 48 hours, but they will respond. They have always responded to me.
Without know more about your situation, the issue may have been about the way that you created your Apple ID.
But that's just a guess on my part. They will get it resolved for you. Hang in there.

New iPod Troubles

Ok. Old ipod (6th generation) died - the button broke. I went and got a new one, and brought it home. I plugged it in, and for a second it looked like everything was working - iTunes automatically turned on and all that. I even got to pick the language of my ipod. I then realized that nothing more was happening, and saw that the screen had gone dead, iTunes didn't recognise that anything was plugged in, and nor did windows. There has been no change since, no matter how many buttons I press... So, any ideas what has happened, and how I can fix it? I've booked an appointment at the apple store, but it's not 'til some godaweful hour on Thursday and quite franky I'm fed up of that place - I feel like my iPod(s) have used up way to much of my time recently, and really, I just wanna be able to listen to music while I'm on the bus.

Do you have a wall charger? If yes let it charge for at least 30 minutes then, while it is still connected to power, hold down the home and sleep buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons.

New Motherboard + trouble existing CS6

I recently needed a new motherboard in my apple macbook pro and now each time I open a program of my earlier purchased CS6 Design & Web Premium I get a pop up window that I am in a Adobe trial version and that I can license a creative cloud.
I do not want that. All I want is to continue with the earlier bought software.
What can I do to get rid of the pop up and that I can easily continue to use my CS6?

New midi trouble.. device or my computer?

i recently got a plug and play midi device (alesis controlpad usb/percussion controller) that is not recognized by my macbook. ive tried all of the troubleshooting provided by alesis and what i could find online, and it seems almost nobody else online is having problems getting it to work (maybe some problems afterwards, but i cant even get it to work!). all other midi controllers i have work completely fine and confusion free. what could be wrong? ive heard something about alesis devices not being able to work on 64-bit OS's, but anyone who regularly updates their software probably has a 64-bit os, and theres not much online about problems with that. ive been sitting here trying for about 6 hours now and have literally come up with nothing. ANY and ALL help would be much appreciated.

E90 new user - trouble connecting to overseas netw...

My E90 has Vodafone phone and Internet service in the UK and I am currently in the US for an extended period of time. I received instructions from Vodafone to connect to AT&T in the US but I have not been able to access the network. I have tried changing around the various Network settings on the E90, and between manual and automatic. I always get offered two local networks (AT&T and T-Mobile), but when it searches for either network I receive a "No Access" message. My cheap phone with local AT&T service has no problem, so it's not my location. I'm obvioulsy missing something on the E90, so I hope that someone can guide me in the right direction.

You cannot self-assign an IP address. Both the router and the computer should be configured to use DHCP. On the computer open Network preferences, select the Airport port and click on the Configure button. Then click on the TCP/IP tab and set the Configure IPv4 drop down menu for DHCP and click on the Apply button.
Configure your router for DHCP as well unless the router is currently set for its default. Then shut down the modem, router, and computer. Wait at least one minute. Then first turn on the modem and wait until it indicates communication with your cable/DSL provider. Next turn on the router and wait until it indicates communication with the modem. Last turn on the computer.

New Service Troubles below not resolved in private session

My earlier post was marked as resolved in private session, but in reality I feel I was blown off. The service case was closed without the option to provide additional information regarding my situation.
I was told that even though I have a fiber trunk cable on my property does not quarentee service. I can understand that, but the response continues to say that I can not get service because I would need to have a junction box off that line and we're sorry that we can not provide service. Case closed.
I found no means to reopen the case to respond. If so, then I would have responded to say that yes there is a junction box providing fiber to the next residence.
So back to my original question: if I have a fiber line and a junction box providing service to the property next to me on my property, then should I not be able to have access too?

Based on what I am seeing, which is nothing. Responding to a closed case does not reopen it. The lack of response clearly indicates no initiative to understand, resolve my issue or give me a reasonable answer to why I can not get service.
I'm looking for service....obviously Verizon has no interest in gaining me as a customer. The support systems in place are combersome, ineffective and just **bleep** people off.
Without the ability to get some type of service, which clearly is present, I have no choice but to go to a sat phone which means I no longer need my verizon wireless phone. So not only did Verizon not gain additional paid services, they lost a customer.
