New Air 2 = jerky pixelated video - what settings or resolution to fix this?

New iPad Air 2 (A1566 64gig) - streaming video is pixelated and jerky. All the signs of video hardware that can't keep up. Not really usable. Experimented by streaming the same clips both simultaneously (side by side) as well as one after the other Air 2 vs 2 1/2 yr old iPad 2. No contest, the old iPad 2 is by far smoother. Also advancing in a uTube vid is fine on the older iPad, but stalls out on the new one, with the little "I'm thinking about it" circle.
in virtually all other areas of use, the new tablet is way faster, as I'd expect (well, it locks up also, sometimes, if trying work work too quickly in the mail app, so I guess that's another shortcoming I suppose......).
This in the same room as a Netgear R6300 v.2, and in any case, the video progress bar pulls ahead and downloads quickly, but the vid playback is atrocious.
maybe this is a problem with the uTube app from the App Store vs the new iPad not being able to play video?

log4j is not Commons Logging. They're different packages. You can use log4j within Commons Logging, but they're not the same thing and their classes are not interchangeable.

An iPad is not capable of natively sending an SMS or MMS messages. Those services require a cellular voice channel connection, and a data tablet is only capable of a cellular data channel connection, not a voice channel connection.
If you have an iPhone, under the settings on the iPhone you can enable forwarding with your iPad - where the iPhone actually sends and receives the SMS texts and shares them with your iPad.
Otherwise, you will need to use an app and internet service like the telegram messaging app. Or you can send emails to the persons cell phone via their carriers texting gateway (e.g. [email protected] if they use AT&T in the USA).
iMessages between iOS apps are separate from SMS texts as iMessages use Apples internet service and equipment. But the SMS protocol crams a short text message into the residual bandwidth of a cellular phones voice channel and cannot be sent over a cellular data connection.

Try using Google's DNS instead of the one your IPS is providing.
- To change on the iPod go to Settings>wifi and change the DNS to 8.8.8.8
- For the computer see:
Public DNS — Google Developers
- Did anything happen to your router right before this started? Maybe the router is blocking the port used.

The default settings mostly likely use an audio sample rate of 32k. This doesn't work probably in FCP. You're probably better off capturing the tape in iMovie.

You might, depending upon what country that you are in (redownloading films isn't possible in all countries), the studios that they are from (even where redownloading is possible not all studios have agreed to it), and whether they are still in your country's store (studios ocassionally remove their films), be able to redownload them on your new iPad via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.
If not then you will need to connect your old iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy them over to it via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, and you can then sync them to your new iPad.

The answer depends on a number of factors, such as the following:
If you have more than one email account, does this problem affect one, some, or all of your accounts?
Where did you last see this mail -- in your Inbox(es)? in some other folder(s) outside your Inbox(es)? somewhere else?
How old is the missing email -- yesterday? just before you got the new computer? over a week? over a month? over a year?
How are you reading email -- with the builtin Mail application? with some other mail-reading application? with a web browser?
How do you access your email on the server -- IMAP? POP? Exchange? web browser? other?
What version of OS X is on your new computer -- Mavericks (10.9.x)? Mountain Lion (10.8.x)?
Did you migrate your data and applications from your old computer when you set up your new computer?
For example, if the missing mail is the mail that was in your Inbox before you got the new computer, you are reading it with the builtin Mail via POP, and you failed to migrate data, then the mail was left behind on the old computer. The same would be true if the mail was in "On My Mac" mailboxes and you failed to migrate data.

I have recently download the new pages, but from time to time my computer will revert back to the previous page software what can I do to fix this problem

I am currrently running into the same problem with the old pages software re-appearing and any document that I had used with the new update, will not open. The system requires me to attempt to download a new version of page, when the newiest version has aleady been download and has been in operation.

You just have to be particular with which Pages version you are opening the document. use Right click on the document and choose the right version of Pages.

Use the crop tool.
On the tool's option bar, type 300 px & 200 px, and the desired resolution.
