Xilinx 7 series devices contain one-time-programmable eFUSEs to hold the encryption key for on-chip AES encryption/decryption as well as a 32-bit, user-defined value that can be used for any application. The new Xilinx App Note XAPP1260, “eFUSE Programming on a Device Programmer,” explains the files you’ll need to program these eFUSE bits and how to use the Xilinx Vivado Design Suite to create an encrypted programming bitstream for use in a device programmer. I did not see that the “go to view link” could change documents. I thought it was only within a document.
I manually added two “go to view links” and that seems to work on both mac and pc computers.
That brings up two questions.
For old files can a acrobat java script batch file be setup to read the hyperlinks in a pdf document and replace them with a “go to view link” style?
Can one place a “go to view link” style in a word document and then have the adobe convert to acrobat process it into the pdf format with the rest of the document? (or set up the converter to make word hyperlinks change to pdf “go to view links”?

What is the best way to get the notes content from iphone 4 to 4s without doing a restore? i want the new phone to be totally new but not sure how to get notes content across. If I do a restore as I have when previously from one iphone to another it has shown (in settings, usage) the cumulative usage from previous phones so all the hours of calls on all previous iphones will be displayed even though its brand new. Anyone know how I can get my notes (from standard iphone notes app) to my new iphone 4s without restoring from previous iphone 4. Thanks for any help offered.
First, if you haven't updated to iTunes 10.5, please update now as you will need it for the iPhone 4S and iOS 5.
Once you're done installing iTunes 10.5, open it. Connect your iPhone to iTunes using the USB cable. Once your iPhone pops up right click on it. For example: an iPhone will appear and it will say "Ryan's iPhone."
Right click on it and select "Backup" from the dropdown menu. It will start backing up. This should backup your notes.
Please tell me if you have any problems with backing up.
Once you backup and get your iPhone 4S, you must follow these steps. If you don't follow these steps, you will not be able to get your notes on your new iPhone 4S.
Open up iTunes again then right click on your device (iPhone 4S). Once you do you will see a dropdown menu. It will say "Restore from Backup..." Select this and it'll ask for a backup, select it from the dropdown menu. For example "Ryan's iPhone - October 12, 2011." Pick that and it will restore to your backup. Do this when you get your iPhone 4S so you will not lose anything. Even though you're restoring, you're getting back, since you're getting the previous settings, notes, contacts, mail and other settings from your old iPhone. You'll still have Siri though! So, restore when you first get it. Also frequently backup your device, as it will be worth it. You can restore from a backup if something goes wrong or save your data for a future update.
Once you do that, you should have your notes on your new iPhone 4S and iOS 5.

HT2470 Why does this not explain how to change the sort order?
Why does this (i.e. support at Apple.com) not explain how to change the sort order? I can "arrange" by Date Modified for example but it won't let me switch to use most recent dates first. Also, what is Apple-speak for arrange versus sort anyway? It seems I used to be able to click on a column heading in finder and get a drop down arrow allowing me to change the sort sequence.
Arrange roughly translates to "group the items in the folder." Sort is how each group is ordered. If you have arrange set to none, you can sort by anything. However, there is no way in the Arrange/Sort menu to choose the direction. The only way to do that is in the List View, and you must have Arrangement set to None.
I've submitted an Enhancement Request to allow choosing sort direction from the Arrange/Sort menu, but I haven't ever gotten a response, which is good and bad. Good because they will often respond that they have considered it and don't plan on implementing. Bad in that they've haven't implemented it. -

To the OP .... Did you try either of theses steps?
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If you have many apps they can't all fit one one screen. Try swiping from screen to screen to see if you can find them. I would suggest checking restrictions as well, but I believe that if restrictions are enabled, you couldn't download the apps in the first place.
You can also look for the apps in iTunes on your computer. Connect the iPad to your computer, launch iTunes, select your device on the left sidebar under devices and click on the apps tab. Look at all of your iPad screens in there and see if you can find them. -
Launch Page with News App not working

New news app is working fine with small URL. When i try to use below length of url application is not saving the URL even we have replaced ~ with "~".

Blackberry news app not updating
After the last recent update, the BB news app won't update. I have the latest software and would like to know what can be done to have the news update again. Other people i know have the same problem.
That news app is not supported any longer. It was published at the time, but sorry don't have a link now.

i just bought the new apps for my ipod touch, and theyre not working!! the only thing it downloaded was the gray area around the bottom portion, i didnt get any of the new apps. HELP !!!
i dont know what to do, i hope i didnt just waste $20 !did you upgrade to 1.1.3 BEFORE you purchased the new apps? You must upgrade first b/c the apps are in the free upgrade.. all you are purchasing is an unlock type of file to open the new apps... what u need to do is probably reset your ipod to factory now, and then update it... then sync last.. that should get them working... you don't have to repurchase them again

Kindle samples not showing up, new apps not showing up
Lately, Kindle sample books are not transferring to my iphone, though they did until recently. Any new app attempts are not showing up either.
The DRM that is used on Adobe Digital Editions ebooks prevents them from being converted into a format that is recognizable by the Kindle e-ink devices. If you get a book from a DRM-free source like Freeding (check your local public library - it is a service that many provide for free) you can get books that have no DRM through Digital Editions and then convert them to a format that can be read on the Kindle e-ink devices, but other than that you must use a device that supports either the Adobe software or app required to access books with Adobe Digital Editions DRM encoding.

Why are my apps (updates & new apps) not downloading?
I am wondering why the apps that I update of apps that I already have on my IPhone and also any new apps that I try to download won't download. It continues to say "waiting". This even happens when I am connected on a "wifi network".
I have the IPhone 4 (3G). Which setting are you talking about?
It happened again this morning. I had updates to 7 different apps today. So I went through the process of starting the updates. At the time I was @ home connected to my home wireless network which is the N protocol router (wifi). None of them would download while I was at home. While I was on the 3G driving to work they still said waiting. Even when I got to work, they continued to say waiting. I connect to a wifi network when I am @ work also. It was like this for at least a half hour or more and then all of them will download quick. It really seems like it is some kind of "throttling" that either Verizon or the App Store is putting on me. I understand that if I am on Verizon's 3G network that this is a possibility but when I am on several different wifi networks and it still continues is where I am concerned that I might be having more of a problem.
Any advice would be appreciated!

"Automatically install new apps" not working
I've got "Automatically install new apps" checked on my ipod touch 4g, but it hardly ever does what it says. For example, I just downloaded three new apps to my computer and then did a Sync operation on ipod none of the new apps showed up. On the App List, they each showed the button as Install. When I pressed the Install button on the App List for each of the affected apps, they then installed on the next Sync.
Just to keep me guessing, new apps WILL occasionally install correctly, but I've never figured out what magic circumstance triggered the proper behavior.
Ideas?did you upgrade to 1.1.3 BEFORE you purchased the new apps? You must upgrade first b/c the apps are in the free upgrade.. all you are purchasing is an unlock type of file to open the new apps... what u need to do is probably reset your ipod to factory now, and then update it... then sync last.. that should get them working... you don't have to repurchase them again
