New App Store changes

Just so ya know. The update part of the App store now says "No Updates" Instead of All Apps Are Up to date.

We are not Apple employees on this site - just other iPad users like yourself. Give feedback here.

You do not have to update all apps. I still have a couple of app updates showing and I haven't updated them yet. Just don't update them if you don't want to. I pick and choose the updates. Don't use the Update All button.

New App store interface tabs greyed out sometimes..

Since the new app store look came out, often I see the tabs but they are unresponsive and I have to close app store and reopen it to be able to click on Updates for instance. Anyone else see this?

I think that it might be related to DNS and having multiple network connections...
I encountered the problem for the first time yesterday on a new 2013 iMac whilst I was having problems with Xcode not being able to connect to a version control server (which has worked fine until yesterday).
The only things that have changed recently are that I have switched off a local DNS server (using OSX server) and that I enabled wifi to perform an air drop.
Yesterday the suggestion to disable/re-enable wifi didn't solve the problem, and today now that the icons are back working again and switching wifi on/off has no effect.

Somehow my App Store changed to US and now I am unable to get any apps because my apple ID is only valid in Australia. I have tried changing the store in the terms and conditions but it doesn't seem to be doing the trick and changes itself back to US. Any ideas?

Settings>iTunes and App stores>Apple ID.
Tap your ID
Tap View Apple ID
Enter your password
Go to Country/Region in the popup window to change the store

I think the download limit for the iPad is 20mb.
You don't say what you've bought but if it's over that you'll have to use iTunes on your computer and transfer it that way.

Solution for Windows 8.1: Locate the C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder. Log out of Creative Cloud and from Task Manager end task for Creative Cloud. From the OOBE folder delete ALL files. Do not delete folders (com.adobe.accc.apps & com.adobe.accc.home). When complete, restart Creative Cloud and log in with ID and Password.

App Store - Changing old Apple ID to a new one defintively

I want to install new apps on my mac but an old Apple Id is proposed. I want to change it, because the old one is inactive.
But the "Popup" does not allow to do it.
I tried to Disconect and reconnect with the new Apple Id but the old one comes again and again ...

Use the sign out function in the Mac App Store's Store menu to sign out of the old Apple ID and into the new Apple ID.
However; content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

Unable to accept new App store terms and conditions

Hello, i just bought a Macbook Air 13" with OS X Yosemite, and I am trying to buy an app from the App store. However, it's asking me to accept the new terms and conditions, but when I click on "accept", nothing else happens, and I am not able to confirm. So every time I try to buy an app it keeps asking the same question. I have tried to disconnect and reconnect my App store account, as well as restarting my Mac, but nothing changes.

1. Make sure you scroll all the way to the end of the agreement before trying to click Accept.
2. Back up all data before proceeding.

Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)

New app store

This new update has changed the layout of the app store. I used to look eqch day atnew apps by date, so i could see from the most recent app to the very first by date. Cant seem to do this in new layout. Feel like missing out on new apps. The new and noteworthy is not same thing and never was in old layout either. Whats happened?

App Store changing country - store credit

Hi
please can someone help me - I've searched in the discussions but not found answers to my problem.
I need to change my account from Switzerland to Austria but when I try the app store says:
You have a store credit balance; you must spend your balance before you can change stores.
I have 0,20CHF - I can't buy anything for that, so I can't spend the money (I don't have a credit card that I can use on iTunes either so I can't add more credit and then spend the money).
I don't care about losing the 0,20 franks, I just want to be able to change my account information. Anyone?

You need to contact the Swiss iTunes Support and request that your account's credit be zeroed out so that with a zero balance you can switch the account to another country's iTunes Store.

New App Store website request

The new Palm App Store is a great addition! However, in my humble opinion, the website needs additional content. The website says there are over 5,000 apps available – 1,000 as freebies. My Treo/Verizon internet connection is not fast enough and I am not patient enough to wade thru these on my phone.
It is obvious the website is still being developed, as noted by no “Contact Us” information. The website should show all of the available apps so we can do our ‘shopping’ on a faster connection and a larger screen. Once we have made our selections, we can move to the phones and make our purchases.
Just my opinion . . .

App Store changed country from USA to Germany

All of a sudden I cannot buy apps from the App Store because it tells me that I am in the German store. How do I change it over using the same email address?

Hi, I live in the UK and my iPhone normally runs on the UK app store, I turned on my iPhone today and every price is in dollars, I also cannot log in.

Can anyone help with the new App Store app? It keeps telling me that there is an unknown error even though I can access my account information, thanks.

Any idea why upgrading to 5 should cause problems with App Store app. Can I delete it and download it again. How might I do this.

I had an unknown error problem with the Mac App Store, and this is how I fixed:
(1) Inside Mac App Store select 'Debug' menu from top menu bar
(2) Select "Show download folder ...' from drop down menu
(3) It will then take you to the folder in Finder
(4) Press Cmd + I while on highlighted folder to Get Info (or choose 'Get Info' from right-click menu)
(5) Under sharing and permissions click on the padlock to enter admin password and make changes
(6) Now press the plus "+" sign and from the dialogue box add the Administrators (admin) group
(7) When returned to the Get Info box, under sharing and permissions select 'Read and Write' as the option next to the admin group
(8) Close the Mac App Store app, then re-open it. Now try downloading apps. It worked for me.
(note: I'm finding I have to lock and unlock a couple of times with Lion before it lets me change some permissions, so if unresponsive first time try locking again then unlocking)
