New apple computer
Is it possibe to change my PC operating system for Photoshop to an Apple OS? Is there any charge by adobe to do this?
Which version of Photoshop do you own?
If the CS6 perpetually licensed version then you can surrender your Windows version and swap to a Mac version
http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/order-product-platform-language-swap.htm l
Earlier versions (CS5 and older) cannot be swapped.
If the Cloud (CC) version then that's already multi-platform. CC apps can be used on Windows and/or Macs at any time.

I had Premier pro given me by the college I attend and do no use wi fi and do not use cloud. My laptop completely died and will be sent back to Apple for exchange. How can I reinstall Premier Pro on a new Apple computer since the old one is completly dead and could not be unregistered?
Hi,
You have not specified which version of Premiere Pro was given to you. If you don't have the disc (which i suppose you don't have) you will have to download it online.
As far as your registration is concerned, for Premiere Pro CS6 or earlier you will have to reach Adobe chat support for further help: http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
For Premiere Pro CC and later, you will not have much problems reactivating it.
Thanks,

Hi.. I have a new apple computer and have no idea how to find stuff on here... Can someone tell me how to find my search history? Thanks
In addition to Japib's suggestion check out
OS X Yosemite: See your files in the Finder
OS X Yosemite: Finder preferences
OS X Yosemite: Ways to quickly see and open items
OS X Yosemite: Search with Spotlight
OS X Yosemite: Rename files, folders, and disks
OS X Yosemite: Folder basics
OS X Yosemite: Ways to organize files on your desktop
One more thing:
Search history is a term generally referring to what sites you have visited via your browser (e.g. Safari)
To see your Safari search history just open Safari and go to the top menu and select from Show History from the History

I AM TRYING TO INSTAL THE ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENT 10, IN A NEW APPLE COMPUTER, BUT IT COMES A NOTE SAYING THAT THE INSTALATION WAS NOT ABLE TO INITIALIZE, AND THAT I SHOULD DOWNLOAD THE ADOBE SUPPORT ADVISOR TO DETECT THE PROBLEM. I DID IT BUT IT SAYS THAT IS HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED,
start at the top and work your way down applying applicable fixes until your problem is resolved.
if cc (win): https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-application-failed.html
if, your error is:
"Installer failed to initialize. File not found." or "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to missing files."
first, rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old.
to find OOBE:
64 bit win OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
32 bit win OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
mac os: HD>library>application support>adobe>caps
mac os: USER>library>application support>adobe>OOB
if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.
if everything applicable above fails, check your installation logs:

I burned my first iDVD andpicture quality is not good. Originals are excellent. My photos are shot in raw or jpeg, both are not sharp when I view my DVD. I viewed it on my 1080 dpi tv and my new apple computer.
There are many ways to produce slide shows using iPhoto, iMovie or iDVD and some limit the number of photos you can use (iDVD has a 99 chapter (slide) limitation).
If what you want is what I want, namely to be able to use high resolution photos (even 300 dpi tiff files), to pan and zoom individual photos, use a variety of transitions, to add and edit music or commentary, place text exactly where you want it, and to end up with a DVD that looks good on both your Mac and a TV - in other words end up with and end result that does not look like an old fashioned slide show from a projector - you may be interested in how I do it. You don't have to do it my way, but the following may be food for thought!
Firstly you need proper software to assemble the photos, decide on the duration of each, the transitions you want to use, and how to pan and zoom individual photos where required, and add proper titles. For this I use Photo to Movie. You can read about what it can do on their website:
http://www.lqgraphics.com/software/phototomovie.php
(Other users here use the alternative FotoMagico: http://www.boinx.com/fotomagico/homevspro/ which you may prefer - I have no experience with it.)
Neither of these are freeware, but are worth the investment if you are going to do a lot of slide shows. Read about them in detail, then decide which one you feel is best suited to your needs.
Once you have timed and arranged and manipulated the photos to your liking in Photo to Movie, it exports the file to iMovie as a DV stream. You can add music in Photo to Movie, but I prefer doing this in iMovie where it is easier to edit. You can now further edit the slide show in iMovie just as you would a movie, including adding other video clips, then send it to iDVD 7, or Toast, for burning.
You will be pleasantly surprised at how professional the results can be!
To simply create a slide show in iDVD 7 onwards from images in iPhoto or stored in other places on your hard disk or a connected server, look here:

i had photoshop elements 10, the computer crushed how can i reinstall it in my new apple computer?
You can't sign in because there is nothing to sign in to. For PSE 10 the only sign in was to photoshop.com, which has been dead and gone for a year and half. Just skip the sign in. Reinstalling will not change this.
PSE 8, 9, 10 Can’t Sign In, Error 404 | Barbara's Sort-of-Tech Blog
PSE is locking up because it's looking interminably for the non-existent photoshop.com server. -

HT1386 ipod touch won't sync to new apple computer?
My ipod will not synce to apple computer. I could get it to sync to old computer. I bought an apple because everyone said they had less problems.
I need the music for my classes I teach. HELPWhat happens when you try on the new computer?
You can only "sync" with one computer/iTunes library but you can manually manage (sync) music and videos among different computer/libraries.
See:
iTunes 11 for Mac: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad
If you want to make the new computer your one "syncing" computer see:

New Apple Computer Was Using PC
I am wondering how to transfer the entire music library I now have on a PC to my new Apple. I tried transferring bought tunes from the Ipod. However, there are many tunes that I have in my current library from CDs. I want to transfer the entire library from PC to Apple. Any ideas?
Alienware Windows XPThere is a good general guide to switching from Windows to Mac at the following link that touches on moving music as well: How to Move to a Mac - Get your stuff from your PC to your new Mac
There are also these guides:
How to move music between authorised computers
Networking with a Windows PC
Don't forget by the way to deauthorise your old PC if you are disposing of it so you don't use up your 5 allowances: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation
If all of your songs are on the iPod, there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from it. The transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. A paragraph on it has been added to this article: Transfer iTunes Store purchases using iPod
The transfer of non iTMS content such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there's a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to your Mac. The procedure is a bit involved but if you're interested it's available at this link: Two-way Street: Moving Music Off the iPod
If you prefer something more automated there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve music files and playlists from your iPod, this is just a selection. I use Senuti but have a look at the web pages and documentation for the others too, you'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos and games as well. This is just a small selection of what's available, you can also read reviews of some of them here: Wired News - Rescue Your Stranded Tunes

got new iMac, I had completed the migration from PC to new iMac, but still unable to see all the apps and music that were saved from the old PC to new iMac. Please help.
My guess is the 30-day trial period has expired but you didn't remove the trial before installing the full version. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip. -
how do i reset my security questions
If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address then see if the instructions on this user tip helps : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551 -
