New apple id or just switch country?

Which one is better? Create a U.S itunes account or just change my country?
I purchased an iTunes gift card but it says I need a US account, I've edited and entered my relative's US Address. Wasn't expecting to see that all of my purchased apps (installed and not installed) were gone, reverted to the Philippine App store and still the list of my previously downloaded apps were empty.
Question is which one is better: create a seperate U.S account or just change country? If I choose to just change my country to US and revert to the Philippine App store later on, could I update apps purchased from the US App store on my device?

You need to be in a country to use it's store - from the US store's terms of use :

Could be a contact problem. There are certain places inside the headset port where proper contact is needed for the various functions the Apple headset has, for example the Remote/microphone unit that cheaper headphones don't have.
You should have your phone checked by an Authorized Apple Service provider or by visiting an Apple Store next to your place.

I cant sign in to i-cloud with my new apple id i signed out of the old one and when i try to log in i just get the 'thinking about it' logo. this lasts for ages and doesn't sign me in. help!

Hi, i have recently purchased an i-phone 4s and had been merrily playing away and set up an i cloud account. However when i tried to access i cloud from my pc i couldn't verify it. I had to change my apple id because i no longer had access to my old e-mail. I managed to sort out my i-phone and change all the accounts to my new apple i.d (except game centre? don't know how to do that yet.) but when i signed out of my old i-cloud account on my pc and tried to sign in with my new apple id it just tries to connect (i get the i'm thinking about it wheel) for ages; not allowing me to log on.

Content (apps, music, ibooks, films etc) is tied to the account that originally downloaded it, so if the iBooks app was downloaded using the account that you used to share with your ex then only that account can download updates to it. As it's a free app you could delete it and re-download it under your own account - and then re-download your ibooks into it (or copy the books to your computer's iTunes first via File > Transfer Purchases and then sync them back to the app).

Hello all, I wonder if you can help with this. I got an ipod around 8 years ago, and configured an apple ID on a PC, which I half forget about as I don't use that much. Fastforward to today, and I now have a MacBook and iPad, with a new Apple ID. But, all my music is on the old ID. Can they be merged? You can, but understand it is always tied to your old Apple ID that you will need to use if ever you need to load the files onto an iDevice or download purchased music under that ID.

IMO - using unique email addresses (like in the video) makes sense, because we (my family) all have different email addresses anyway, and it was very simple to add each family members email address to both apps and remove my Apple ID email address as the contact address on each device.
BTW .... if you are using your Apple ID on both devices - your phone number should be the number that is showing in the settings - not you daughter's. Did you set up the Apps with your Apple ID?

They don't expire. As far as anyone knows Apple IDs live on forever - if you forgot its password use https://iforgot.apple.com. Good luck with the answers to whatever security questions it asks.

Right! That's the reason you do not create a new Apple ID.
As far as Apple is concerned a new Apple ID is a completely different user, with absolutely, positively no access to anything available to any other Apple ID.
Concentrate your efforts on resetting the password to your old Apple ID. It has not expired, and is the only way to use all your existing iTunes purchases, App Store purchases, computer authorizations... etc. Forget about the new Apple ID you just created.

I've been playing around with it for ages, I read online somewhere that if you right click on playlist and select copy to order then resync that fixes the problem, but im guessing that's for the old Apple tv as Ive done that but makes no difference, though I'm not sure how you resync, think it does it automatically on the new Apple TV.
Just goes to show that its a problem a lot of people have had with it in the past, so why don't Apple make sure that their new system dealt with this from the beginning!

I have recently changed my email address and have updated my appleid. When I try to update an app on my iphone or ipod it shows my old appleid. It will not take my old pw. How can I get the iphone and ipod to accept my new apple id?

Just remember, any and all apps and other iTunes content that was purchased with the old Apple ID will be locked to that Apple ID and to update them, you will have to sign in with the old ID; or you will have to delete the old apps and download them again with the new Apple ID.

You can't use Bluetooth, you need to use wifi and AirPlay.
Basic AirPlay: Assuming both devices are on the same network and that AirPlay is not turned off on the Apple TV, then simply tap on the screen when you are watching content you wish to stream to your Apple TV, then tap the airplay icon that appears in the control bar, choose the Apple TV from the menu that appears.
Mirroring: When displaying the content you wish to mirror on the iPad 2 (or better), iPad Mini, iPhone 4S (or better), swipe from the bottom of the screen, tap the AirPlay icon and choose your Apple TV from the list of devices (iOS 7 or better) or double tap the home button (quickly) and swipe the bottom row of apps to the right to reveal the playback controls, tap the AirPlay icon and select your Apple TV from the list of available devices (pre-iOS7)

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

You can turn iMessage off on your iPhone. That's relatively easy. Since iMessage is an Apple product/service, I have no idea how a Samsung phone will deal with an incoming one. For that answer you should probably contact Samsung support.
