New Apps in iTunes?

Does anyone know if the iTunes app store has a location to find the absolute new applications to be added to the service? I know there is a section titled "New," but most of those apps have been up for awhile, and I keep seeing announcements on Gizmodo or TUAW about apps just added to the store which don't appear in the "New" section. I've actually had to search for the new apps mentioned elsewhere.

Just an fyi that itunes listing shows updated app at the top as well as new ones. For some reason iTunes lists the published date as the last time the app was updated.

New apps in iTunes default to "off" in Apps tab on iPad, but "on" on iPhone

I am using iTunes 9.1.1 on a Mac.
When I buy new apps in iTunes, on the "Apps" tab for the iPhone these new apps default to on (i.e. with a check-mark next their to name). But on my iPad, the same new app defaults to off (i.e. with no check-mark).
I have read other posts where people are complaining that all their apps are automatically selected on their iPad. I am having the reverse problem, but only on my iPad.
Any ideas?

Me too! I plugged my ipad in at 11 am this morning and left the house to run errands. it is now 7 pm and the darn thing is still syncing! i dont understand. i plugged it in when i first got it and it backed it up and then started to sync. i let it go for about an hour and then got impatient and cancelled sync. then like i said before ... plugged it in and it is taking forever! i thought there was something wrong with itunes so i plugged in my ipod touch and had no probelms backing up and syncing. it finished in a few minutes. so what is going on here? do we really need to sync?

I purchased new apps on itunes just downloaded to a new computer and want to add them to an iphone with apps already loaded.

The tutorial says to check Sync Apps and drag the new app icons onto iphones. Problem is I get a warning when I click Sync apps that doing so erases all the apps in the iphone and replaces them with the new ones. Since this is a new itunes, it does not have the iphone apps already purchased downloaded. How do I add these apps and sync my iphone?

You don't. Backup your itunes library on the old computer and move it to the new computer.

Add new App in iTunes Connect?

I'm using MagPlus to create a Digital Magazine App and I need to add an App in iTunes Connect. Where in iTunes Connect do I add a new App? We also have an iBooks app in the "Manage Your Books" which needs deleted but I don't know how to delete this..maybe because of the user account permission?

You cannot publish books and apps with the same Apple ID. You need to create a new Apple ID to publish your app.

Cannot sync iPhone with new apps using iTunes

My question is I am unable to sync my applications or even music or videos using iTunes, I use different computers to sync my iPhone, and one in particular but that particular system too has greyed out everything on me in iTunes and doesn't allow me to sync either songs videos, photots or applications.... and gives me a warning that I will loose all the existing apps or songs on my iPhone and whatever songs, apps..are present in the iTunes library would be added to my iPhone.
I want to keep existing songs, apps.. and also the new apps and songs from this itunes can it be done.

The iPhone can sync iTunes content (music, videos, apps, photos, etc.) from one computer only. Trying to sync iTunes content with a second computer will result in iTunes erasing the content from the first computer. However, non-itunes content such as contacts, calendars, mail settings, notes, etc. (anything in the Info pane) can be synced from another computer.

Cant install new apps from Itunes

I an buy and download new apps. But I cant ionstall them in to my Iphone4

I think its the syncronicing thats not worikng any one know way ?

When I click to update apps nothing happens. Same with getting new apps or itunes items.

Details are
iphone 4s with version 6.1.3.
Internet/safari works fine
If I click on a new app, nothing happens. If I click on it again it says "You have already purchased this app, so it will be downloaded now at no additional charge." Again nothing happens.
Then app is then in my purchased list. Still can't download from here.
Can't update already installed aps.
Have tried....
resetting the settings
logging out and back in of my apple id
switching on and off
downloading various new apps.

It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

Slow download when updating or downloading new apps on iTunes

Hi I am residing in Singapore. Lately, I seem to be experiencing extremely slow downloads from iTunes Store whenever there are updates. Usually, a 200mb + file would take less than 5 minutes to complete the download. Now, it takes more than an hour. Has anyone experiencing this issue?

Hi all, Im also experiencing extremely slow download rate of apps via App Store these 2 days. Im residing in SG and using Singtel Data as well. Home is Singtel Wifi too. Both data and wifi are CRAWLING when downloading of apps.
I've tried turning off and on the mobile but it doesnt really work much. For Safari surfing, whatsapp, facebook-ing and etc, all are doing OK as per norm speed. Does anyone has any idea what's really going on? Could it be solely Singtel provider's issue or something else?! My mobile is iPhone 4, with iOS 4.3.5.

I can't get any updates or download any new apps from iTunes because I "cannot connect to the iTunes Store" or sometimes it says server. I have no trouble getting my email or surfing the Internet, so it is a problem specific to accessing iTunes. Incredibly frustrated! Please help!

Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

I'm using MagPlus to builld my App with iTunes Connect.. Where do I "Add New App" on iTunes Connect? I have an iOS Develop Account. First screenshot is my homepage in iTunes Connect, 2nd one is their sample page of where I need to be. My page doesn't look like theirs.

Phone resets self after installing new apps

Every since 2.0.1 when I install new apps via iTunes sync my phone reboots. The sync does not finsh before rebooting either it just installs the apps reboots the phone and the apps are on there when it comes back on, but i have to re-sync to get the rest done i.e. music/videos.
Anyone having this happen?

ALSO.. I thought backups were supposed to be a little quicker with 2.0.1 well... it used to take around 20-30 minutes.. NOW it takes 2-3 hours ?!?

Can not transfer apps from Itunes to Iphone

HI everyone, I noticed this just the other day and I can seem to figure it out.
My Apps page in Itunes is greyed out and I cant navigate and add new apps from Itunes.
Sync Apps is unchecked and if I check it I get a warning saying it will erase all apps on the phone and replace it with the ones on Itunes. I don't want to do that as I will loose all the modified data within the apps. (Game progress etc.) And I don't know if that will fix the problem, plus all the apps on the phone are the same as the ones on the computer so I would not gain anything from that anyway.
I used to be able to change the order and remove apps from this page and now its greyed out. Any Ideas?
Restrictions on the phone are set to OFF.

Either you changed to a different computer to sync, or you changed something major on the computer so iTunes no longer thinks it is the same computer. The iPhone can sync iTunes content with only one computer at a time; if you change computers the symptom that you see is exactly the result.

Anyone else experiencing strange behaviour using the App Store/iTunes

I'm having a strange problem with both iTunes and the App Store apps. Searching for items is hit or miss, sometimes no results are returned or tiles are missing their pics etc. Clicking on a item of interest like a TV show, for example, brings up the details page but sometimes the individual episodes descriptions/pics won't load.
The first time I used the new App Store it was showing me GBP currency instead of CDN. I checked my settings and my location was set as Canada, so it definitely wasn't a settings issue on my end. Killing the app and going back in seemed to fix the problem.
I was just browsing some new games when I ran into another problem, prompting me to post here. I clicked on a game's icon/tile to access the details page, but nothing happened. Clicked it again thinking it was me and this time the tile showed as depressed but nothing happened. Clicked another tile and it depressed as well (and the first tile stayed in that state too) but the details page didn't load.
I definitely think there are a few bugs in the new App Store/iTunes apps. Very annoying as there are a few purchases that I'd like to make but can't. Argh.
This all started after upgrading to iOS 6, which has otherwise been fine so far.

YES! I am having a lot of AppStore problems since iOS 6. My 2 main issues are:
1. AppStore crashes constantly or will just sit & spin then does nothing at all.
2. If I search for a specific App, making sure my spelling is correct, AppStore will NOT bring the app up. Instead, it will bring up unrelated apps.
Podcasts app does the same thing, as well as jumbling up dates. Very impossible to find the correct episode.
APPLE, please tell me you are reading this and that a fix is quickly under way!!
