New apps needed

It would be nice to have the apps like "Magic jack" and "Text plus" available to blackberry users. They r good apps for people that travel out of their local calling area. Is blackberry soon to join the other smartphone companies with these kind of apps?

It is important to understand that, with only a few rare exceptions, the device manufacturers do not "pull" apps from the developer community. Rather, the developers choose which platforms they desire to support, and then write their app for that platform and push it out through the various vendor portals. Hence, the proper direction for your question is to the developers of the specific apps you desire...pressure them to support BB10.

Hello, Som_chatterjee. You don't really need a downloadable app to have these features. These are actually supported by the built-in Contacts application. You can add photos and more contact information to a particular phone number. Check this link for more tips on managing your contacts: MANAGING YOUR CONTACTS ON THE NOKIA ASHA 501.

Did you download the new iTunes update that was also released this afternoon? That might be the problem. The new iTunes update came out today as well as the new iOS 7 update and if you haven't downloaded the new iTunes update it may be a compatibility problem so if you didn't, first update to the new iTunes and try again.

2.2.1 is not the latest available for any ipod touch.

Sorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.

As rex already mentioned, Apps and other content are forever tied to the Apple ID that was used to purchase them. No transfers. No combining Apple IDs. Forever means forever.
In practice, this means any apps you currently have - free or paid - will need to be either repurchased using your new Apple ID or downloaded again if free. Until you refresh all of your apps, your iPad will ask for credentials to the old Apple ID any time one of the apps is updated.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

As I recall, the dropdown menu had no option for os 10.6.8. The sending computer works on os 10.7.5 and the receiving computer operates on 10.6.8. Both iMacs. The Pages app was downloaded from the same CD some time ago. The CD purchase was for three computers and has worked well until recently. No recent upgrades. Are the OSystems above compatible? Frank

If your profile is correct you're already on the final version of Snow Leopard (10.6.8). Sure it wasn't Lion it was asking for?
If that's the only version available on the app store, you'll need to source a copy of the iWork '09 DVD - not cheap now - only available via Amazon or eBay etc.

The designer is usually someone who just handles the user interface portion of the code. The developer would handle core functionality. I assumed you were the developer and the designer was the designer. You are the client and your "designer" is the developer.
Ideally, you should create a business account so that you can add someone to your team. That is the way it is supposed to work. Otherwise, you will have to ask for the final source code so that you can build and submit the app yourself. You should always have the source code regardless. You should always perform the submission under your own account too. Otherwise, it is the developer's app, not yours.
Sharing accounts is against the Apple Developer agreement anyway. The App Store Gold Rush is over. Now it is mostly zombie apps and competing fraudsters. You don't want to give someone access to your iTunes account. You really don't want to give someone access to your bank account either.
The best solution would be to convert your account to a business account. You may be able to have the developer submit the app and then transfer it to you.
