New Artwork not accepted!

iTunes has suddenly refused to accept artwork that I wish to add manually for a number of albums that I deleted (and which previously had associated artwork)and which I have now re-installed. When I try to drag the artwork into the artwork box I get a circle with a diagonal line symbol rather than the little + sign. I've also tried adding the artwork via the Info box that appears when I right click a track. Here the artwork appears to be accepted in the relevant box but does not show after I press OK, the artwork box remaining blank. I've tried re-installing iTunes 7.7 but this has made no difference. The artwork is not available for download from the Apple store. Existing artwork for some 5600 tracks is unaffected. Does anyone have a solution, please, as my Coverflow view is spoiled by these gaps!

Whoops! Sorry, folks, I've found the answer! I re-downloaded my albums as wave files, which apparently do not accept artwork! Now I have converted them to Apple Lossless, the artwork is accepted. I think Apple might have warned unsuspecting duffers like me about this!!

ICloud - webpage new look - Not acceptable!

iCloud webpage - New design as of 17-18 September 2013 is NOT great for low vision and many other users. The font is way too thin. PLEASE allow us to select the fonts to meet our needs, NOT the Apple's need. Apple folks MUST know better before a final push.

New computer not accepting my Adobe Acrobat 9 serial number

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 on an old laptop. I downloaded Acrobat 9 from here Download Acrobat products | 9, 8 to my new computer. I looked up the serial number on My Adobe, and have tried both pasting and typing it into the installation form.
I keep getting an "invalid serial number" message.
Please help.

Why does Acrobat installation on new PC not accept valid product number?

I bought Acrobat 8 in 2011 and have a valid product number. I just bought a new PC with Windows 8. I downloaded Acrobat 5 from the Adobe website. When it asked for the product ID, I put in the number, and got a response that the number is invalid. I copied the number directly from the purchase record on Adobe.
What is the problem? How can I correct it?

New Compressor not accepting QT flip anymore

I get a lot of films that are scanned from film, which are all up-side down and mirrored. I used to employ Quicktime's ability to have them turned around without having to render (Within QT go to Properties > Video track > Visual Settings > Flip updown).
The new Compressor no longer takes this flag into consideration, meaning that compressor rendered QT films are again upside down.
In the preview window of Compressor you can see this; original shows correctly, preview is upside down. (You can see a framegrab on my blog ... a bit further down the post).
Quad G5 4,5gig, iMac G5 20" 2g, G4 QS 867mhz, iBook G4, Mac mini, dusty PB 190 • Mac OS X (10.4.7) • DSR-570, DSR-11, 2x24" Dell, Behringer B-control, and some more toys.

So, I went an re-rendered all flipped movies from within Quicktime. One night later, everything looking good. Submitting the job to the new Compressor. One night later, all movies are upside down again. ***???
Now I tried to downgrade to the old compressor, but that did nnot work. Now I am trying to re-install the old Final Cut Studio.
What a waste of two days.

New partition not accepted

My external HD at this moment has two (equal) partitions:
one for Time Machine, named TM, and
one for a bootable copy, named SK (from Silverkeeper).
I want to subdivide SK in two (equal) parts, using Disk Utility.
Although not required, I emptied SK and zeroed it out.
Following instructions all went fine, until I hit 'Apply' and got the message "File systems resize support required, such as HSF+ with Journaling enabled." After OK'ing this, I was back at the beginning.
Now, what does this mean, and what should I do?

Very strange.
Eject and disconnect the drive for several minutes. Restart your Mac, then reconnect the drive and try again.
Are you anywhere near an Apple Store or Repair location? If so, take the drive to them and see if they can do it.

It's a long shot, but this sounds like something screwy (pardon the technical term ) with Disk Utility, not the drive.

Album Artwork Not Updating?? Even After Deleting All New Artwork

I have recently added new album artwork to my songs in my playlists directly through my iPod 5th generation. I thought the artwork was going to get updated automatically so after that I disconnected the iPod and tried to listen to the songs on it. But the songs either had no album artwork or the previous artwork that I "deleted".
So then I connected my iPod to my PC again and there it was--all my new album artwork was already included with the songs, even though I couldn't see them whenever I used my iPod seperately.
So then I right-clicked on "Tony's iPod" and clicked on options. I then went under the "Music" tab and unchecked "Dispaly album artwork on your iPod". Then I clicked okay which meant obvisouly meant I won't be able to see the artwork whenever I used to iPod seperately. So then I went in options again and checked "Display album artwork on your iPod". I expected the iPod to automatically update the artwork.
I then clicked "ok" and on the top part of iTunes it said "Updating Ipod. Do not Disconnect" Then it said "Optiomizing artwork for Tony's iPod" but then all of the sudden a small window appeared with a big red X saying
"The ipod "Tony's iPod cannot be updated. An unknown error occured (-50)."
I freaked out again and restarted my computer...disconnected the iPod--connected it again, "disabled" the artwork and enabled it again...nothing worked--it kept showing the same error message. So then I decieded to delete all the new album artwork that were already with the songs (But the iPod did not want to accept them). After deleting all the new artwork--I attempted to "enable" album artwork. I believed maybe one of the album artworks i uploaded had an error on it or was not compatiable. So I "enabled" the artwork again and it showed the same exact error message.
I have no idea on what to do, can anybody help me?
P.S. I already checked for any viruses--there were none.

It might be possible that the artwork is just unavalible. Try finding a random picture and setting it as a songs artwork, then updateing your ipod with that picture set as the artwork and see if it appears. If it does, then maybe you need to redo all the artwork (i have had to redo all my artwork before...total pain in the ***..). If it doesnt show, then you got me...

Charging cords are covered by the iPhone warranty or their own warranty
if puchased separately. Take your iPhone and the cords to your local
Apple store for evaluation and possible replacement.

Unfortunately, iOS 7 is too hard to push for the iPhone 4 and therefore has a lot of effects turned off to try to get it to run as smoothly as possible.
However, it becomes better and better with each update coming but it's hard to do anything about the hardware on an already released phones.
If you still have trouble or think they are too hard. My tip is, if so, to restore your iPhone 4 and make a clean setup with no iCloud backup. But all your photos in a photostream so you can access it later.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

After purchasing a new computer I downloaded itunes and signed in to my account. Everything was fine including my current email address. When I connected my iPod and it started to cink, I go a message that the computer had to be authorized our my music would be removed. When I clicked on the authorize button I got a sign in that had an email address I have not had in almost 3 years. When I put my current logon and password in itunes would not accept it. When I clicked help it offered to send help to my old email address which I have not way of accessing. We are having this same issue. We have over 200 songs that are now missing and only our most recent ones show up in our ITunes library. Fortunately we have one phone that still has all of our music still in tact. This phone is no longer one I will be using as I upgraded to the Iphone 6, and only the most recent purchased songs remain. The rest are no where to be found and the iTunes store shows that I would need to re-purchase. Not sure what to do as when I tried to sync my last phone, all the songs were gone.

Since the iOS 7 update i cannot log into my icloud. Seems I have two iCloud loggins. One old. one new. When I try to delete the ol from my phone it does not accept the password nor will it take my info to reset my password.

At one point I had set up my itunes and icloud with an old email address. I have since shanged that to a new email. iTunes works fine and I can log into my new iCloud on my PC but my phone will not allow me to delete the old iCloud email without the password. I select to reset the password but the system will not accept my birthdate or security questions. All happening after i did the iOS 7 update. Any thoughts? Thank you!

1) Did you change that old email address to your current email address to be your current Apple ID? If so, try to enter your current password for your current Apple ID/iCloud account. If it doesn't work, try #2.
2) If you don't have access to your old email account. Same process, go to https://appleid.apple.com and sign in your current iCloud/Apple ID then edit it to your old email address then Save the changes. DON'T sign out yet. Go back to your iOS device then delete your iCloud account. Once deleted, go back to the Apple ID website and rename it back to your current email address. You have to verify it this time and you will be able to since you have access to that email address.
3) If your answer to #1 is NO, contact Apple Support (Account Security Team) to help you reset its password but you need to have another email address available which is not yet an Apple ID to send the password reset email.

Depending on what kind of computer you have, you're gonna need to put that backup in the appropriate folder or itunes is not gonna be able to see it for you to use.
