New B&N eReader not working on iPod touch

I updated to the new B&N eReader 2 days ago and now the reader wont open the new books I purchased. Has anyone else experienced this problem? The books will down load and read in the desktop version. Just not on the iPod.

The BT profiles on the iPod do not support direct iPod-to-iPod use. There are apps that support peer-to-peer gaming between iPods and maybe transfer like for photos. Also see:

I did try resetting the connection under Settings, also reset my i pod by restarting it, but it didnt work out. Apart from this, I have a 2nd gen Ipod for which I need a external sensor to check unlike the inbuild sensor in ipod touch. Any other option

Touch screen not working on iPod Touch (after I dropped it in a fish tank)?

Hello,
I dropped my brand new iPod Touch into my fish tank while it was on. It stayed on for a few seconds but shut down before I was able to get it out. Besides the obvious water damage, it also suffered three cracks across the screen.
I immediately dried it with towels and stood it up to let the water drain out. When no more water was dripping out of the charging port on its own, I took to blowing into both the charging port and the earphone jack myself until there were no more water droplets coming out. When that was finished, I buried my iPod in a bowl of rice for 4 days.
Today I took my iPod out, and tried to turn it on. Nothing happened, so I plugged it into my charging dock. The white Apple icon appeared, as if it were about to turn on, but went black after about 30 seconds. This repeated itself many times until finally, to my surprise, the lock screen came on! I was so excited that it finally started working, and swiped my finger across the "Slide to Unlock" bar. Nothing happened... puzzled, I tried again. It will not let me type in my code or anything, the touch screen is not responding.
Any ideas?
I at least want to get it to sync with my computer so that I can get my data on there before having to replace my iPod, I do not want to lose everything (for the second time).

If you used your Touch like most users, you sync the tunes via iTunes. That means all the audio and video is saved to your hard disk - which is great news. Your documents are preserved. On the other hand, if you don't use iTunes, I'm not sure I can help.

New Purchased apps will not sync to ipod touch

Ok, my son just purchased two more apps to put on his ipad touch. they show up in our library, but will not sync. "Sync Apps" is checked, as is "automatically sync new apps". All other apps are checked and are showing in his ipod touch. These two new ones, will not sync. when you check the boxes for them from the apps screen, i get the "revert" and "apply" boxes appearing. I click on "apply" then it changes to "sync" and when I click that, it goes through the sync process, then unchecks the two new apps when done. of course these two apps have failed to sync. Music sync is working fine. Any help out there?

Are the apps compatible with the iPos e.g. is the relevant iOS version on the iPod (Settings > General > About > Version) and the apps are designed to work on the iPod - an app's requirements are shown on the left-hand side of its description page in the store.

Gyroscope not working! (iPod Touch 5G)

My iPod Touch 5G Product(RED)'s gyroscope abruptly stopped working. Does anyone have a solution? I've tried resetting the iPod through "Settings", erased all the content. But it still isn't working! How should I fix this? Would be very thankful if someone could help me out of this!

Try restoring to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes. That reinstalls the iOS while the erase all content and setting does not.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

- When you connect it to your computer or charger does it show that it is charging?
- After connected to a charger for half an hour reset the iPod.
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, uontil the Apple logo appears.
- If still not working connect the iPod to your computer. If it shows in iTunes, restore the iPod via iTunes on the computer.

Converted home videos to itunes not working with ipod touch

So I finally was able to convert some home movies to itunes but now they will not work with my ipod touch. I get a error message saying "can not be played on this ipod". I also can't get the movies to work with my ipod video (classic) either, how do I fix this? And yes there is enough space for the videos.

Sony docking station speaker not working with iPod touch

We bought a Sony docking station for the iPod touch (4th generation) we got our son for his birthday. The speaker on the docking station works when playing the radio, but not the iPod touch. We returned the docking station for another, and we are having the same problem. Which is why I am pretty sure the problem is the iPod touch and not the docking station. The docking station actually will charge the iPod, just not project sound out of the speaker with the iPod. It will, however, project sound out of the speaker when using the radio.
Is there anything simple I could be missing in settings? I can't figure this out. TIA!

Recently there has been several users posted here with the same problem with a Sony dock. I do not recall if it was solved.

Nike + app will not work with Ipod touch.

I really want to use the app to tracking my workouts for a half marathon I am doing but it will not log in via Nike + or via Facebook, I have the 4th gen model any ideas on what is making this happen or how to get it to work!?

Genius does not work on ipod touch 2G.

I have a second generation 8GB ipod touch. Every time i tap on genius icon, it pops out a messege saying that the song has not enough related songs to create a genius playlist. I have around 420 songs and most of them are from famous artists, still same messege. Where as on my pc, itunes can create a genius playlist from any given song..... Anybody can help???

Based on your information, I would state that genius is indeed working since it tells you that you don't have enough related songs. 420songs is not much to match a playlist. Beside, it's not simply related to the number of songs but on if they are related based on Genius database.
On your iTunes on your PC, you will see the same atomic icon as on your iPod located on the top display.
I must say that Genius works great when you have above a few thousands songs. Keep in mind that this feature may not work for albums that had just been released since it is also use somehow in its algorithm how users actually match these songs.

Apple TV not working with Ipod Touch 2nd generation? No sound.

Has worked perfectly the past month and I can still stream youtube via the ipod touch with sound.
However I can no longer play music from ipod touch to Apple tv. Issue started about 10 days ago.
Could this be due to some updates?
Similar issue when trying to play from Spotify, used to work perfectly.

Why is the facetime not working on iPod touch 4 generation

I just set up the two iPOd touches I purchased for my son and daughter. Everything works except for iMessager and facetime. I will for them to call me on my iPhone.....however no luck at all

Are the iPods signed in with an Apple ID ? (Go to Settings-->iTunes and App Stores and see if they are signed in)
Are they connected to a Wi-Fi network ?
Try calling the iPods from your phone.
