New BOM Items ordered not retained on click ofUpdate in BOB (OOB) shop

Hello Experts,
We are using BOM material in our Business Process. Per Business requirement, the BOM sub-items are not required to be displayed on the Order Page of ISA webshop in OOB scenario.
Hence we have set the parameter "ui.fields.order.bomExplosion"to 'hidden' in XCM Setting.screenshot attached.
After making this change, we are experiencing the issue where we are not able to add any new BOM items to existing Orders, especially in the scenario where all blank line items are filled in with new BOM Products. When we click on Update, the new items are not retained and disappear.

Thanks for your response.
We find out the problem this was the SAP product Bug in the class SalesDocumentParser method parseItems the iteration count is worng. Its not taking care about the Bom items. Instead of interating the loop through index SAP is iterating through values. So we implemented the solution for the same.

I wonder if you can block the registration of the same item with item number in the BOM,we have some problens with other software that comunication with SAP.

Hi,
You have to go for a user exit for this purpose.
remmeber in case item is being changed with chnage number(with history req), it might show multiple line items with same bom item( but it will be for same bom compoennet)
Also i guess for alternate and discontinuation bom componenets line item number remains the same.

Work item is not opening while clicking in POWL Task under MSS Portal

I have created custom Iview on portal for POWL. I can see my Powl application but when I select work item which contains all task ...and select any one of them it should open WD abap application but its not opening application and giving error.
There is no iView available for system "": object "SWF_WIOBN" "

Changing BOM-items in Process Order not allowed

that Hello,
Mi client is asking me if it is posible, once created a Process Order, upon modifying the order (COR2), that the user can not change any of the cuantities and batches of the material list (BOM) updated in the Process Order.
Is there any way one can protect the material list from being modified once created, or once liberated the order?
Is it posible, moreover to just protect the BOM ítems updated in the Process order but let the option open to add exta BOM ítems manually.
Is there a userexit or a Badi one can use to acomplish this?

Hi Aart,
Yes, you can use BADI to protect the BOM items from not to change the BOM items in Process order.
In one of our project we have taken the help from the ABAPer, has has done the same thing.
Then we have acheived the same requirement.
You check with the ABAPer, he will help you for the requirement.

Items could not be synced ERROR?

I keep getting this error on all my devices aftre I try to sync with Itunes

i just experienced the same problem and frustration when syncying my device on iTunes. i finally saw the little warning sign (exclamation mark inside a circled triangle) next to the eject "button" where my device was listed on the left in iTunes. Clicking on it brings a pop up window that gives more details for the first problem. If more than one item did not sync, just click on the little sideways triangle next to the "total problems" count (in the bottom left corner of this pop up window) to get a full list of items complete with reason why each didn't sync.

Is there any BAPI or FM in which i can add new line item in SD delivery vl01n? The new line item will not be there in SO , but i want it in delivery. Manually i can insert new line item using VL01n , but i need FM to do the same.

Regarding BOM item return(KITs Return)

Can any one please help me:
Basically a BOM item (TPH77500--- Not Batch determined) hold 3 components TMD7710, TMD7711, TMD7712.( all the components are batch determined)
I have completed the Oto C for the above BOM item with a qty of 2. When I am trying to return 1 qty of the BOm item, It is populating its components with qty 1, butduring delivery it is saying the error log as below;
1. Document is Incomplete:You cannot Post Goods Movement for the material TPH7750
2. The batches are not defined for the delivery item TPH7750.
I have checked in the path edit---> Incompleteness Log, In that It is giving adescription:as per the status Group D8 in the Incompleteness Procedure L1 The Batches /valuation Type is not completely allocated.
but the BOM item is not a batch determined material where as the components are Batch determined.
Can any help me how I can rectify the above one so that I can check the KITs Return Process and the KIt's Component Return Process.

Assume the bom item is not maintained "batch management" in MM. Pls ensure "Batches /valuation Type" is not checked in Incompleteness Procedure.

ADD NEW BOM

I have one doubt pls guide me, In One FG i have 5 altenative BOMs when i add new BOM (item ) has to be added in more than one BOM in single transaction
Currrently total replacement of material is possible thr CS20 ,but i need to add new material in all BOM in single transaction

Hi sakthivel,
Use T code CS20 and select the option 'Add material' in the item changes. also specify a reference material that is available/common accros all BOMs where you need to add the new item. Specify the item category, quantity and line number where you want it inserted.
Make sure the UOM will match with the master data records. on execution, you will get a list of all BOM's where the reference material is used, select the ones you need the new item for and select 'Add material'

XVBAP has the new line item but does not update Sales Order

I need to update the sales order with a new line item when the line item has a base unit of measure as the sales unit. I need to then convert the base unit to sales unit with a whole figure and the rest can be in the base unit.
I am able to see the update in the xvbap but the line item doesn't get updated.

Restricting new line item of completed sales order in VA02

Hi,
My requirement is to restrict the user to add new line items for Sales Order if the Header status is completed in VA02 transaction.
I have done the coding in "userexit_move_field_to_vbap" as it is displaying pop up an error message and stop the users from adding a new line item.
Popup message contains 2 buttons 'Continue' & Exit.
If user clicks Continue it should be stay in same transaction (Va02) and if user clicks 'Exit' it should exit the VA02 transaction.
But when I click the 'Continue' button it is staying in the same transaction and newly entered line item values are not clearing. But these values should not appear after clicking 'Continue' button.
Can any body please help me in this regard?

Reconfigure sales BOM deletes line item and creates new line item

We are having issue with Sales BOM. Once sales BOM is reconfigure, line item is automatically deleted and creates new line item. These changes are not captured by reporting tool. Is it standard SAP behavior? if its not standard behavior, how to fix this issue?

If i am not wrong, i assume you are using site instead of plant. If it is plant , then "yes", we can have a order with same material being line item 10 and 20 with different plants. Reg delivery, if the plants are configured to a same shipping point then you will have one delievery. if the plants are configured for a different shipping point , then delivery will be split up.

How are you saving a new bookmark?
