New bridge doesn't open in 10.6.8 - anyway to uninstall and use previous version
Have updated bridge without realising it won't run on Mac os 10.6.8. Don't want to upgrade particular machine to Mavericks yet. Is there anyway to uninstall / reinstall previous version?
I contacted Adobe via chat and telphone. They are saying that it is the end of the line for 10.6.8. They said you can uninstall the recent update ... then they said you cannot.

Unless you tell us exactly what you have tried, we have no way of knowing exactly which updates or deletes? aren't working for you.
Try installing the combo > Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.6.8.
Restart your Mac after the combo is installed, try the App Store. -
After Installing Logic Pro X, my Logic Pro 9's 32-bit AUs don't work. The 32-bit bridge doesn't open and run either in my Logic pro 9. My 32-bit AU plugins are crossed out. Help?

I know both programs fairly well, believe me, both Cubase 6 and 7 can hold their own with any DAW out there, they just don't come with a bunch of ready made loops and preset instruments.
LogicX will never be able to use 32-bit instruments without a third party solution, nor will it ever include the Bridge. At least according to the people I know. -
Bridge doesn't open jpg and problem with PS
Hallo to everyone. I work on mac os LION. I'm a cloud member for PS (one year, paying monthly, not extended version). Bridge doesn't open my jpg files 'cause a message telling me I have to register the product (???) . Every time I open PS a window appear telling me mt trial period for PS Extended expired. I have Italian version (multilingual, setted in Italian) (sorry for my poor English, I hope my message is understandable). I updated to the last PS version. No way to cancel the message or open my jpeg from bridge. Anyone may help?
It can be a pain but I would suggest deactivating and reinstalling Adobe Cloud on your computer. Strange problems like this are likely to occur when there was a corrupted file during the download/install process (with any software), especially if you've been having this problem since the begining. Otherwise its possible it could have been a corrupted update.
Try that and let me know if it helps. -

How did you install the plugin? You may want to try reinstalling it or installing the dng converter, as that is what has the camera formats. ACR 8.2 is just the plugin for the mechanics of Camera raw. Normally they should both install, but sometime the converter doesn't.

I just purchased FaceTime and it installed on my MacBook OS 10.6.8. It doesn't accept my Apple ID to allow sign in and use FaceTime
This is what I found out about my own question as nowhere in my search of Apple support was there a similar problem addressed.
What I found that was very frustrating in Apple Support was the references to going into FaceTime preferences to reset certain items. But it can't be opened
if I couldn't activate the sign in... and yes I was very careful with entering correct symbols for i.d. and password. Also, navigating the site is such a mishmash that searches kept changing as I found myself in communities without any reference to backtrack how I got there.
Enough grousing.
I am fortunate to have a TD Curran store nearby. They are a licensed Apple Dealer and service center located in the NW of the U.S.A. They used my id and password, activated the program and tested it on their store phone.
The only thing I could determine that was different was the ISP. The store had a Comcast Commercial business contract- high speed.
My ISP is CLEAR WiMAX out of Portland, OR. When they were independent and just starting I signed on for a very reasonable monthly with the lowest speeds- they have served me well until this fiasco.
My speeds are download ~ 0.789 mbps and upload ~0.390 mbps.
This, I hope, helps at least one person. -
I downloaded a facebook update that doesn't work on my iPhone OS. Can I get the previous version of facebook back? I have a 3G phone that doesn't upgrade to OS 4.3 which the newest facebook update needs to run. Now I can't use facebook on my iPhone at all. Is there a place to downgrade or to download the older version of the app?
i can't understan why i can get a facebook apps for my iphone 3g that is so "sad" i'm miss facebook all because u guys Apple have a new version of the facebook and the 3g can,t upgarde i'm vext with apple right now!.....

SAFARI 6.1.3 update to Reader 11.0.07 … cannot open pdf files that are presently on my computer. Previous version had no problem. Any ideas? Note that iStatPro has not been updated in quite awhile and may not be reading the guts of a totally new system correctly. IIRC, the Late 2011 MBPs were beginning to tax iStatPro already, as they had newer sensors the older code was completely unaware of.
For strictly measuring temps on the guts of these newer Macs, maybe use Marcel Bresink's free Temperature Monitor? Last updated in March 2012. In my Late 2011 15" MBP, it picks up all 18 sensors...

Bridge not opening when doing a browse in bridge from Photoshop cc 2014.. Bridge opens fine on its own..
Again, thanks for the quick answer but in searching around the web I found someone respond that it looked like a issue that would go away with an uninstall and reinstall of PS CC 2014. I did that and rebooted my PC and the round trip now works. I am guessing that the problem was caused when the new version was added without the 2 earlier versions being removed. When I remeoved the older 2 versions, I expect the link was scrambled. Now all is ok.

Ok, 6 hours later it's a fix for me!
Not sure if it'll work for you but it was quite simple.
Open Finder > (go) Computer > Macintosh HD (for me) > Users > Click once on the Home icon (main admin) > Get Info >
click on lock and authorise bottom right > click on cog wheel drop down > click on 'Apply to enclosed items' > OK
Close info window and try to open bridge -

Just bought my iPad 2 today and what a surprise, the camera doesn't work
Front camera it's ok. The problem is with the one in the back. It doesn't open.
I've done a little research on the web and I can see this is a very common problem. ¿What can i do?

MéxicoTry closing the Camera app:
1. Double-click the Home button to reveal the Task Bar
2. Hold down the Camera app for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Tap area above Task Bar to return to Home screen
If the above doesn't solve the problem, do a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider
