New carrier that doesnt support bis, what to do?

Always used blackberry but now when i got a new job they gave me a samsung with a carrier that doesnt support blackberry, i have a bold 9900. Is the only solution to wait for the q10 or is it possible to update to bb10 and use without BIS but still access email.

Yes, you should be able to use the Z10 on the carrier and you ONLY need a plain old general Data Plan, not a BIS plan.

Download it from Adobe. I doubt Lightroom 2 will run correctly on a new Mac that probably came with OS X 10.10.

I bought a brand new iPhone that Apple support says it is a replacment, what shall I do?

I bought a brand new iPhone 4 that has started to over-heat, since the first usage, and when I tried to contact Apple support online, they ask for the serial number for the phone that when entered it said "this serial number is for a product that has been replaced, please enter the replacment serial number for warranty info etc..
What shall I do to get a replacement(for the overheat problem)? even though I bought it brand new!!!!
Not to mention the main problem that got me into this which is the excessive heat that makes using the iphone 4 impossible!!!

Well, it is not a well known retailer and I am sure that going to him and telling him this won't make a difference to him, he might be even not aware of the whole thing.

LTE uses different bands in different geographic regions. So a phone sold for use in one region may not support LTE in other regions. See: http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/. It will still work on 3G/GSM.

I would look at gaming computers like Asua, as they tend to have better graphics cards. I would avoid any laptop that has a switchable graphics card, as the card maker does not supply updates to the card - that's left to the computer maker and they don't update them.

Just checked for an update and iTunes offered and installed "New Carrier Settings".
Any idea what changed here? (I'm on AT&T in the US.)

Yes, mine is also now showing AT&T 3.1.
Nothing appears to have changed. I did have occasional problems since V2.2.1 where rebooting the phone caused it to ask to be connected to iTunes rather than just activating normally. As it turns out you didn't actually have to connect to iTunes -- just turn the phone off and back on again and it would activate. It will be interesting to see if this goes away.
(I have an original iPhone, so 3G is never an issue.)

Where did you get these phones?
These and other forums are full of people with iPhone unlocking problems - the net result is that, as others have said, is:
If you bought them from Apple they will be (and stay) unlocked.
If you bought them PAYG from CPW then they will lock to the first SIM activated.
Any other contract or PAYG phone iPhone bought from the networks WILL be locked by them too.
However, all is not lost. The original purchaser can request for the phones to be unlocked by Apple, via the carrier. The carriers usually charge around £20 to do this, or gratis if you're out of contract.
You are the original purchaser, right? If not, you need to get in touch with that person and pray they'll help you out.

Two thoughts:
(1)     It is possible that your Adobe software was the result of belonging to a now-discontinued Adobe Print Service Provider program where for a certain annual membership fee, print service providers were provided with (a) both a Windows and Macintosh license to the Adobe print-oriented software products (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat) and (b) special direct product support as well as the ability to put your name on Adobe's website as a member of this program. The program ended over a year ago if I remember correctly.
(2)     You may wish to contact Adobe Customer Support (not Technical Support) and see if they can track down any and all licenses associated with your company. If you have the names of the former employees who worked with this software, it would be helpful. Likewise, if you were a member of the discontinued Adobe Print Service Provider program, you may have some options for upgrading/updating the software you have.
Unfortunately, you cannot get any more definitive information about your situation on these forums.

Sounds like the iPhone was hacked to be unlocked. When restoring an iPhone with iTunes that was hacked to be unlocked, the hack is removed and re-locked to the carrier the iPhone was sold as carrier locked with when new.

what can in do?

Well unfortunatly that advice does not always work. I bought a unlocked iphone4 from apple several years ago and went to att on a no contract basis. Six months later the phone crashed while updating the operating system. Apple replaced the phone with a new one. All is fine till I got a iphone5 and gave te phone to my cousin. The phone is now locked to att but att says the IMEI number is not a valid ATT IMEI and therfore cant unlock it. Apple says there is nothing They can or are willing to do so now I am stuck for a 600.00 phone that can't be used.
If anyoun knows a way naround this situation mI would appreciate a heads up.

I have similar message but for me the Verizon guys said they unlocked it and when I actually connected to iTunes using Verizon sim card and then did the restore as new iphone then everything worked well and at the end i saw the message "Congrats, your iphone is now unlocked" and then I did the set up as new iphone for my kid.
Once new apple ID was set up, then I removed the verizon SIM and then inserted prepaid t-mobile sim card and after the phone booted up then I got the same message like above...."not supported"
What do i do now? I think the phone is unlocked right?
Also do I need to insert Verizon SIM card and do restore as NEW and this time do not set up the iphone but change the SIM card and then set up or ?

The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...

If you try all these Steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step... Be sure to make an appointment first...
