New cd drive : itunes doesn't work with it now

I bought an external drive but when I use it in itunes to either play a cd or import a cd, it doesn't play or import them but skips through them then does nothing. Is there a setting I need to change to fix this? the cds work fine in windows media player.

Yeah, you have to do something to let iTunes know the new drive is there. I don't know what, though!
However there are hardware whizzes over on Importing & Burning discussion who will know this backwards and forwards!

The link refers to an updater for iPod software, not iTunes. At the point in time that that software was current, there was no iTunes for Windows; iPods used MusicMatch. Leaving aside the fact that that software probably isn't available anymore, current iPods require a (relatively) current version if iTunes.

Given the age of your system software, I suspect you may be out of luck.

The New Software 1.1 doesn't work with the iPod 60GB

I Install the new software, with videos up to 400Mb(movies) doesn't work, the ipod stop, freeze the movie and restart in the same frame without audio. I have other 5th generation iPod but he have 30GB and it works perfecly for this i say that problems bring with the 60 Gb, i don't know why.

I too had the same problem with my 60GB after the firmware update. My install CD, however, had V1.0.
You don't have to go to some retailer and try to get them to bootleg you a copy of the correct installer.
You friends at Apple already have this installer hosted for you and it's available for download right on their download's page. If you have any questions or problems, post back to me and I'll see what I can do.

ITunes doesn't work after update now! Says music files have been moved, would I like to locate them, then everything freezes.

I need some help! I've spent hundreds of dollars on iTunes music and suddenly every time I click the "play" button the entire service just freezes and stops responding. The only way I can even get to a play button that doesn't freeze is through the iTunes store. But at that point when I click "play", it tells me the song can't be played because the file isn't in its original location. It asks me if I'd like to locate it, and if I click yes, it brings me to a screen that I can't do anything with. Nice update. It was just fine until now. What can I do to get my music back???

Since you do not mention what happens when you try it is hard to help.
The sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
Everything on the ipod came from your computer in the first place. It should still be there and you should always have a backup copy.

Latest version of itunes doesn't work with my 64bit computer. version 11.0 works fine

I wanted to update to the latest version of itunes because I had to for my iphone.
When i launch itunes it says : "Itunes stopped working". I downgraded to version 11.0 and all works fine except my iphone doesn't connect to the 11.0 version.
i think it has something to do with my 64bit version.

After effects CC doesn't work with c4d now?

Had CC for a while. Updated yesterday. In the project panel, I get a grey box where the c4d icon used to be (See below) and after effects can't play the file backwithout a big delay.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled after effects twice now. Nothing seems to work.

Yare showing the Project Panel from AE, not the finder. Icons for resources never show up there. They never have. Icons for C4d will only show up in a file browser if you have the full version of C4D installed. Is that the case?
What happens when you drag the C4D file from the project panel into a comp? AE is not and never has been a real time playback machine without pre-rendering a ram preview. Playing back an animated C4d file in a comp after the delay of rendering a ram preview is normal.
So far I see nothing wrong with your project panel or your question except that I don't know exactly what you are doing, what you did before, and what version of AE and your OS down to the decimal point. Updated yesterday does not tell me anything specific.

Creating a new library with 'Shift/Start iTunes' doesn't work

I'm trying to start a new library, but pressing Shift when I start itunes doesn't work. It takes me to my existing library.
I've uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled, and completely deleted any other libraries.
Any ideas how I can start a new library any other way?

Thanks, that didn't work the first time but did work the second.
Perhaps I wasn't holding the shift key long enough - you presumably must keep holding it until the 'choose library' dialog actually pops up. I was releasing it after I'd clicked the 'start itunes' button.

After upgrade to IOS 8.3 sync with iTunes doesn't work

After upgrade iPhone 6, iPad Air to IOS 8.3, the sync (over wifi, as well) to iTunes doesn't work anymore.
On iMAC iTunes, the last sync's hour and day appear different from what is recorded on mobile devices (iPhone and iPad); with IOS 8.2 and the previous iTunes' version the sync worked correctly: the dates are the same only for few seconds after syncronization, then the IOS devices show the syncronization's dates related to two weeks ago.

New airport express doesn't work with Nintendo DS

I just picked up a new Airport Express. The WEP setting doesn't seem to be standard. Instead it is this Transitional Security Network that doesn't work with the Nintendo DS or the Netgear WG511T card I have. Any ideas on how to get it to work?

SessionManager doesn't work with new xerceimpl.jar?

Does anybody know the solution to the problem below?
The toplink sessionmanager, which loads sessions.xml for database session pooling, doesn't work with new xerce parser(xerceimpl.jar). It is tieing to old xerces.jar parser, which has been upgraded to have more functions.

It works with old xerces.jar. But in-order to get new functions from new xerces jars from apache, I got xml-apis.jar, xercesImp.jar. They got modified from old ones. So this is breaking toplink sessions.xml load to work.
