! NEW CHARGER'S NOT USER/ENVIROMENT FRIENDLY !

I find it disgusting after being a Nokia devotee for 6 years now that they have updated their chargers by one mm(!!!!) to increase profiteering and help further damage the environment by making old chargers obsolete.
What is most disturbing about this is that decreasing the pin size has no practicality what so ever, it doesn't make it charge any faster and doesn't make it's rear end look any nicer. It's just another example of how corporations only pretend to care about the environment (like Nokia signing up with WWF) and it's customers, when it only really cares about one thing: increasing its profits.
I'm disgusted, aren't you? I recommend a Nokia boycott.

I completely agree!! I'm starting to really hate iTunes. I bought a macbook and an iPhone so everything would sync perfectly with no problems. I have to log into iTunes constantly for downloads and this and that...it's so annoying!! Apple is more concerned about tracking your personal information than they are about users enjoying their music. It's just a big data collection scam. iTunes (AND APPLE) you are on very thin ice with me.

The new shuffle is not user friendly

I am so disappointed and frustrated with it. I can't get my music and Podcasts to be in the device at the same time-and I have spent so much time trying different permutations of making this happen that I'm actually posting my displeasure! I've been to 3 different computers even, with the same results. The drag and drop feature of previous generation was great. There was no need to change that. The instructions I can follow-but they are useless here. I want my Podrunner music and my downloads in my device so that I can run to what I like-and it's not happening... If my old one turns up (and I hope it does) I'm returning this thing to the store. My daughter bought a new one too-and she also finds it a p.i.a................Apple people need to fix this........

thank god you saved me. i was going to switch to another program. itunes was barely cutting it before but the new update messed me over when i had a party to go to tommorrow. tips woulda been down the drain. i hope apple wisens up and listens to customers rather then making blatent descisions about how things should function. apple has some of he worst customer support in my opinion. their communities are more help then the tech support. very sad when a company chases customers away. thanks again though!

New charging port not working

I recently have been having problems with my iPhone 5 charging port. I bought a replacement off amazon ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Generic-Headphone-Charging-Connector-Replacement/dp/B00E Y9RMTU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407765309&sr=8-1&keywords=iphone+5+charging+port ) and followed a video guide to replace it. Now that it is in, the speaker, home button, charging port and microphone aren't working. Could this be a problem with the replacement part or a problem with how i have installed it?

Probably a problem with the install, Iphones are not meant to be user serviceable, and it voids all future support from Apple.

My MacBook is completely dead and a new charger is not lighting up...do I need a new battery?

I have had my second hand MacBook for 18 months and have replaced the charger twice...so when the charger failed to light up or charge the MacBook I ordered a third charger.
But it arrived this morning and the new one does work either ;(
If I take it out and into the port the light sometimes flicks orange incredibly briefly.
My MacBook is completely dead so I can't turn it on to check anything

So recently, the charger for my Ipod touch 5th generation broke(my puppy chewed it) so I went to get a new charger. I found that the new charger was not working when i plugged it into my computer. After i returned the charger, and got one that seemed a little better, i plugged it into my computer and found that that one also didnt work. I was extremely angry and confused about why they werent working. I was wondering if the problem was my ipod or the charger or the computer. So i plugged it into a wall charger in the wall and that did work! So now im assuming its just my computer but it has always worked before when i plugged it into my computer untill the last charger i had broke. Any idea how to fix this? Or is this unfixable?

I have had my Blackberry Curve since last spring and still do not find it user friendly. The online guide states how to make categories for the memo pad but stops there and does not explain how to save new memos within those categories. I go back and forth and cannot figure out how to do it. After pressing many buttons I finally manage to get it where it belongs but have no idea how and when I try adding another go through the same thing. I had a Palm previously; it was so easy, just make the cateogry, click on it and then click add new. Now I click on the category, then new memo and after that the entry goes into outer space somewhere because I cannot find it. Just clicking save does not work. Sometimes I can find the entire list of items in every category but cannot figure out how I did it because there is no actual option to do that. I often wish I had gone with a different smartphone but am locked in now for another 2+ years with basically a phone but nothing else. I am still using the smartphone part of my Palm for data, memos, etc., because it is so much easier to use; unfortunately I cannot get another battery for it so its use wll be gone when the battery does. .I wanted a smartphone so I just had to carry one device; now I am back to carrying two, a Palm PDA and a Blackberry phone. .

Actually I did get these replies in my e-mail, thanks. However, I did finally toss the Blackberry and got an iPhone. It is so much easier to use, right out of the box I was able to make calls whereas it took me some considerable time to figure out how to even do that with the BB. And the Memo section on it great, very easy to use, not to mention the other basic apps like calendar and contacts. Very user friendly. .

Just a note about the sockets - openreach ( the engineers ) are only responsible for looking after the external network and any fault on the external network is there responsibilities. Any wiring inside is the responsibility of the householder and therefore are liable for charges if any work is carried out in the home. The first point of call should always be your service provider to get them to run a line test for any problems on the line. If there faults department can't find a fault it is most likely inside that there is a problem and a local electrician is always cheaper than an openreach engineer.

To change to iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID then sign in with the new ID. If you don't know the password for the old ID, and if the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Charging cords are covered by the iPhone warranty or their own warranty
if puchased separately. Take your iPhone and the cords to your local
Apple store for evaluation and possible replacement.

Very strange! All of my calendar events have reappeared. This has happened one week after downloading iOS 7
The calendar however, is not easy to use.
The typing function on the phone has become even slower. Have to wait for each letter to show on screen.
