New Computer and backing up apps

I hope someone can help me with this! I have a new computer but have not yet synced my iPod Touch with it. I have moved all my music to the new computer/iTunes. Of course in order to sync to the new 'library' it will erase my iPod. I am concerned about all my apps though. I have all the apps downloaded to the new computer but is there any way to backup/move/save the profile and saved game data for these? I essentially use my iPod as my PDA (it's faster) so I have a lot of apps with info I can't afford to lose.
Unfortunately, my iTunes on my previous computer has the install corruption issue which I have not been able to resolve for a couple months. So I have no way at this point to sync or update my Touch!
So does anyone know a way I can sync with a new computer but not lose all my data?!?

Thanks, I appreciate your help! Unfortunately the issue is not actually getting data onto the new computer, that is done. I keep all my music on a networked attached storage so all I had to do was map iTunes to that drive/folders to add the music.
Problem is when I connect my iPod to this new laptop/iTunes, it comes up with the screen that the iPod is synced with another iTunes library and in order to sync it with this one, it will have to erase the iPod.
I don't have an issue with that with the exception of the saved data files from games/apps. I don't want to erase and find that I have to start all over with all my games and that the productivity apps I use now have a year worth of data gone!

That's a bummer, didn't realize the exHD files were corrupt, esp if you have tried from another PC and not just this new computer.

If you want everything (meaning non-itunes songs, app data, photos, etc) you need to buy a 3rd-party ipod manager that support iTouch. Here is an iLounge article to start your research:

Have you updated your iTunes on your computer? WIth a device running iOS7, you need iTunes 11.
When you removed iTUnes, did you see something named 'apple mobile device support' or something like it? (The exact name varies from operating system to operating system). If you see that, uninstall it too. That's the drivers for your iPhone and they should self-install when you plug your device in.
If all that is fine, have you checked your cable and USB port? a malfunctioning cable can keep you from syncing.

I have had a total meltdown of my system and have had to rebuild my computer because of a lightning strike which took out my main computer and my backup system therefore I do not have a way to restore all of my old files. When I rebuilt my computer I decided to go with Windows 7 rather than staying with Windows Vista when I attach my Apple iPhone to the new computer and tried to sync it, it tells me that it wants to wipe out everything on my phone. My iPhone was backed up to the cloud but I do not see way to restore it from the cloud and I do not want to lose all of my apps and data that are on my iPhone. I have gone to the Apple online store to see if I could restore the apps that I have purchased from their and have not been able to find anything that relates to reinstalling all the apps that I have purchased as well as my bookmarks and addresses as well as a lot of the data in documents to go and do not want to lose them as it is the only place that I have them left. How do I do this without losing all of my apps and data that is on my iPhone?
Please help out of this nightmare and keep me loyal to iPhone.

How do I get iTunes songs which were downloaded from external back-up drive to play on new computer and is there a way to get my play lists back?

When I try to play a song from my re-installed iTunes library, I get the error message: "Song xxx could not be played because original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" > "Locate" or "Cancel." When I click on "Locate" I can't figure out how to get the song to play from any of the places that were "located." The path is C:\users\Janet\libraries\music\iTunes
However, iTunes songs chosen from my library will play in iTunes (current version) when I have the external back-up drive plugged in! I recently copied my backed-up iTunes library from my external back-up drive to a new computer.
Most of the songs, but not all, magically appear in Windows Media Player and I can play those just fine.
I can see my iTunes library in the newest version of iTunes, recently downloaded to new computer, but can't play songs without connecting to the external back-up drive - so maybe there is something else on that external drive that needs to be on my C: drive?
I am using an HP Pavillion Notebook, Windows 7, 64-bit. My previous computer was Windows Vista. Before Vista, I had XP.
Back when I had XP, I wanted to purchase some songs to download to my computer. Because iTunes had the ability, I used it to create a massive library of songs, most of which were ripped from my CDs. I don't have an iPod and iTunes worked fine for creating playlists and then burning them to CDs.
Also, I'd like to know if there is a way to get back my playlists.
And another thing - in the older version of iTunes, there was a folder in the lists on the left-hand side of the screen where I could click to see all the songs I had purchased. I'd like to get that ability back if possible.
In hindsight, iTunes was probably not the best choice for me to build my music library in a Windows operating system, but it seemed to be the best choice at the time. I really wish I could convert all the songs to mp3 format.
I have been working with computers since the days of DOS, black and white screens, and no mice. The first computer I bought for my own use at home was a Mac and it had "Flying Toasters" as a screensaver. (I miss that screensaver.) It did not have a tower and I believe they called it a laptop, even though the thing was as big as a suitcase and probably weighed around 30 pounds. However, I am by no means a computer expert. I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places. I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file. There must be something else that's missing. My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive. If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess. I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={ Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period. I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive. Also (and I'm kind of fuzzy on this) Windows used to automatically save music files in a folder within my document files (which makes no sense to me). As my Jewish friends would say, "Oy Vey!"

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

Make a new Apple ID for her.
Use it on her iPhone 4S for iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime.
Use your ID on her iPhone 4S for iTunes and App Stores.
Sign in with your Apple ID on iTunes Store (on iTunes app of her new computer)
Authorize her new computer with your Apple ID in iTunes (iTunes menu>Store>Authorize this Computer)
Check "Share my Library on my Local Network" in iTunes Preferences in your and her computer
Sign in Home Sharing of her iTunes with your Apple ID.
Copy all the Music she wants from the old computer to the new one. (Must be on the same network)
Copy all the apps she wants from the old computer to the new one. (Must be on the same network)
Export all playlist as xml files from the old computer to the new one.(right click on the playlist to export and "File>Library>Import Playlist to Import)
Sync her iPhone 4S with all content she wants from her new computer (all data from the old computer will be deleted)
Are you sharing Contacts or other data from iCloud?
Be careful or ask for help about moving from iCloud account to another one.
