New computer - cannot reinstall CS2

I got a new computer, and cannot install CS2 Windows. It is an upgrade. I have Photoshop 5 and Illustrator 8 on the machine, however the installer keeps telling me it cannot find Photoshop and therefore will not install. I contacted Adobe, who told me that since CS2 is "old" they will not help me reinstall it unless I pay $99. Quite frankly I am completely upset since I've been using several Adobe products for years.
Anyway, can anyone tell me how to get CS2 to install? I am on Windows XP Pro.

I don't remember the technical requirement for installing CS2 but I do remember a bug that would keep the installer from seeing an earlier version if you tried to validate the install by simply inserting the CD. It wouldn't work on a DVD drive.
That said how did you get it installed on your old computer? If you didn't need to call then there's a bug in the CS2 installer that fails the verification if trying to do it by inserting a CD into a DVD drive. If that's the case, use a CD drive. Depending on your O/S you could also try installing PS 5 (but I wouldn't do that with Vista.

Bought PSE 12, installed, broke computer, new computer cannot reinstall

I am fed up...it's a simple problem and there seems to be nothing but circular logic. I bought PSE 12 (actually upgraded since I have had 9,10 and11 as well) I installed it and had no problem on my old macbook pro. Then I killed my laptop and have a new one. I cannot get the program to reinstall. A few days ago before I gave up in frustration I was told to install the trial and then put in my code to open the full one...that led to some jibberish about needing to update the system. Could I figure all of this out if I had hours to spend running in circles? yes, but I don't .Is there not some straightforward way to install a program I own on a new laptop I own? Like steps 1,2 and 3? Help. I am trying to do a minor project for a friend and am stumped...not to mention aggravated...

Could you please elaborate the exact issue that you are facing with PSE 12?
Do you get any error on Install or launch?
Which serial number error do you get?
Please share the error screenshot, if possible.

New Computer Cannot Open Old Encrypted Emails

I have a user that has recently been set up on a new computer copying their .pst from an older system.
The previous computer was running Windows 7 32bit w/ Office 10 and the new one is running Windows 7 64 bit w/ Windows 10.
The user can open recently received encrypted emails but cannot open emails prior to the date they were moved to the new system. I have removed and reinstalled their credentials and exported them as well but to no avail.
Any suggestions on recovering access to encrypted emails prior the creation date of their new profile on the new computer?

Was the "old" Digital-ID installed/ imported into Outlook after setting up the new workstation?
Mostly the reason for such behaviour would be missing private key matching the public key the messages were encrypted with. You won't be able to decrypt the mails without it.

Got a new computer, cannot get the acrobat pro 9 installed

I´ve got the CS 5.5. Standard reinstalled to my new Computer perfectly. Got a problem with the Acrobat Pro 9 serial number (got it under my adobe-id)? What can I do? Please help, got only few days left of the trial.

It doesn´t accept my serial number. Got it saved under my ID. Says "The serial number you entered is invalid".

TS4036 New Computer cannot play songs

I have bought a new computer and tried to upload my albums and songs from ICloud. I can see them in my itunes app. but cannot play them as it says "cannot be loctated". How do i sort this?

I know it can be frustrating to be asked repeatedly to authorize your computer when it is already authorized. Deauthorizing all computers, and then reauthorizing the one computer was a good step.

New computer/cannot sync music

i got a new computer, so all my music was deleted. i spent forever re-adding everything. and now when i try to sync it, a message comes up saying.. "ipod cannot be synced. the required disk cannot be found."
its driving me crazy. someone please help!
also, i cannot update or restore it.

Well, you can always try the good ol' restart. Hold down the center an menu buttons on the iPod until the screen goes black and you see the apple logo. This won't change anything on the iPod, but it can clear up temporary bugs. Also, make sure that your computer is authorized to play your music.
The "required disk cannnot be found" part could mean that some of the music is stored on a different hard drive. make sure that all the hard drives that contain parts of your library are connected.

Got new computer--cannot get Google toolbar to show up tho have downloaded it several times.

Transferred Firefox and other programs to new computer; however, my Google toolbar (especially bookmarks of concern) did not transfer. I downloaded it again (more than once); it shows up on my Tools/Addo-ons as enabled but does not show up on the View/Toolbar section (never since new computer). I uninstalled and reinstalled, but no luck. What now?

Transferred my iTunes to a new computer cannot find music files

Recently I got a new PC laptop. I backed up my iTunes from my old laptop to an external hard drive and transferred them to the new computer. Although the song information appears in my iTunes window, when I try to play them I get a message that the file cannot be found and would I like help locating it. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Something whet wrong with your migration process, that much is clear.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. It may be possible to simply slide the media folders into the location that iTunes expects them to be.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

Transferred purchases to new computer cannot move things to iPhone

So I bought a Macbook Pro and am trying to transfer my iPhone to that computer as my primary computer now. I have transferred the purchased and authorized the computer but I am still not able to add music to my phone or edit anything in my phone from iTunes. Any help is appreciated.

I get no error message, I can view everything on the phone it just will not let me delete things off of it or add to it. I can still hook it up to my old computer and manage it but my whole goal is to switch over completely to the new computer.
I have only copied portions of my music library to my new computer with the belief that I would need to redo it all at somepoint on the phone.
I am not willing clear my phone to get this to work.

New computer cannot see cFP-2000 via ethernet

I set up a cFP-2000 block to connect via ethernet on my computer fine (directly connected, not through a network). Now I want to connect it to a different computer and I can not get MAX to see the device. I have a crossover cable from my new computer to the cFP-2000. When I open max, it will not see that there is a device connected in the remote systems section. What do I need to do to get the new computer to see the cFP unit I have hooked up? I am running Windows 2000, Labview 7.1, and Fieldpoint 4.1.

Ok, still no luck. Here is what I have tried:
Assigned the exact same IP address to the new computer as the first computer.
Also tried just obtaining automatically.
Assigned the same subnet mask (255.255.0.0) to the new computer as the old computer (and same as Fieldpoint).
Tried playing with the network port changing the duplex settings.
Tried using a hub to connect. The hub worked if I tried to connect to the first computer that I set up the fieldpoint on, then it wouldn't work with the new computer.
When I connect the ethernet cable from the new computer to the cFP-2000, I don't get any lights.
I am pretty lost as to what is going on here. I have no problem connecting to the cFP-2000 when I have it hooked up to the computer I first configured it on. Then when I connect it exactly the same way to a new computer, I can't see it in my remote systems and there are no green or yellow lights on the FP ethernet connector.

I am sure I cannot be the only one in this situation...however Apple did a nice job letting everyone know how to transfer your library from one computer to another IF you have access to your old computer. Well, my PC crashed. Does NOT work...period. Purchased a new PC and whenever I plug my iPod in I am told it is synced to another library.
What can I do. I absolutely cannot...well...do not want to erase everything and start fresh with my hundreds of songs and podcasts.

ITunes on new computer cannot find my songs

I recently purchased a new Vista laptop and now want to enjoy my music via iTunes on it. I had previously made a backup of my whole itunes folder on an exHD. On my old computer, the music in my library is found here and there, it is not all found in the iTunes music folder, since it came from various sources.
After installing iTunes on my new laptop, I replaced the whole iTunes folder by the one I had backed-up and when launching iTunes, it only finds the songs that are in the iTunes music folder. My playlists are all there with the song counts and album covers, etc. but the songs that arent in the iTunes folder have all an exclamation point besides the title. I've tried consolidating my library but it did not work, it copied some of the music but most of it still have the ! mark.
What can be done so that it can find my music by itself...? Or am I doomed to replace the unfound songs one by one?

iTunes: Finding lost media and downloads

[iPhone] Moved to new computer, cannot run app on device

I was developing on a mac mini, and I provisioned my iPod touch and was able to run on the device. Later I setup ad-hoc provisioning for my iPod as a test, and that worked too. I am attempting to switch over to a new machine. I've installed the old certificates and encryption keys, as far as I can tell. But when I try and debug on device, I get the dreaded 0xE800000001 error while "verifying application"
When I try and drag my ad-hoc certificates into XCode, it crashes. I've been trying to follow the directions for provisioning my device, using the existing certificates, no luck so far. When I set up iTunes on the new machine, I used "Consolidate library", then I copied the iTunes folder.
Any help would be appreciated.

I bought a new computer and reinstalled my elements 12...when i first loaded it, it asked me to license or done...i accidently clicked done and now it won't run at all...how do i fix this...i keep uninstalling and reinstalling it and the editor side will

so how do i fix this...i have reinstalled it many times now and even went and downloaded the 13 trial version just to do the project i was trying to work on...

Once I clicked the Done button the program shut down. So when I restarted it and clicked on editor, the timer thing happened on the editor side with the cursor timer also spinning for a few seconds and then both timer displays stopped and nothing happened. I can click on the manage photos side and it opens and functions but not the editor. There are no error messages. I can uninstall the program and reinstall it and the exact same thing happens over and over. Elements 13 loads and works perfect every time. Maybe i'm missing something such as if I have a 32 or 64 bit system and which one i'm downloading because i had trouble finding the program to redownload. Maybe if you just get me alink to the american version of elements 12 32/94 bit version it will work great i bet that is the problem actually. Because I originally did a trial version last year of 12 and then later bought it. So if you can give me a link to download a good version of the program that might actually solve it. Because if i have a 32 bit program download and my system is a 64 bit system...that might actually account for this issue...since after I downloaded it did not have a chance to run it and see if it worked...
