New computer, repurchase adobe ?

i just bought adobe on a computer that broke, how do i get it on new computer without repurchasing ?

if your broken computer is not completely broken, deactivate your product on the broken computer, install on your new computer and activate on the new computer.
if you cannot deactivate on your broken computer and you are unable to activate your product on your new computer, go here and initiate a chat:  http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html
explain you have an adobe product on a broken computer which you are unable to deactivate and that is preventing you from activating the product on your new computer.

  • Got a new computer,  now adobe photoshop elements is having licensing issues. error code 150:30

Thats pretty much the jist of it. Im no computer wiz and all of the instructions for how to solve this problem are over my head. I don't know how to enter my start up library to delete certain files. Please help.

photoshop elements 8 - came with my wacom tablet back in 2011. And My new computer has os X yosemite - it was working on my macbook which had recently updated to OS X, but Im receiving error code 150:30 licensing has stopped working messages. I found a troubleshooting list on adobe help that was asking me to delete files in my start up library. It was very confusing. Im lost. I just want it to work again.

  • Migration to new computer of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.

I have de-activated my version on the old computer and installed the program on the new computer. On start-up it shows a screen asking to enter the serial number, I did that and checked that it was the correct serial number for Acrobat Pro XI. But it announced that this was not the correct product and I was asked to select the product and to enter the serial number; I could not select the right product Acrobat Pro XI but I did insert the serialnumber but t the same question popped up again.

I think it is probably asking for the serial number of a "qualifying product", correct?
That is the old version you had before, which allowed you to buy an upgrade. Vital to keep BOTH serials forever.

  • Thinking about new computer and Adobe upgrades

    Hi,
I'm contemplating a new computer and upgrading InDesign. I bought Photoshop cs3 to replace 7.01 but it was crash prone and cumbersome so I removed it from my computer and went back to 7.01 (never crashes - has never crashed).
I use OS 10.4.11 on the old non intel mac. If I get a new intel mac with 10.5 I will need to upgrade from ID2.
Is it possible to load the latest versions of ID and Illustrator without the bridge?
    and
What is your favorite imposition software that works well with ID4?
    Garrett

    Thanks Eric,
Your idea is the surprising kind of reason I would like to upgrade to a newer machine than a g4 with os 10.4.11. And I totally agree that auto update is a real drag if you don't want it, that's partly why I unloaded photoshop cs3 and stuck with 7.01, and now gimp. Still, there is no way to replace indesign or illustrator, they are the best.
I avoided cs3 because of all the controversy around command z doing weird stuff and I'm hoping things get back to normal on that score with cs4.
Yes, the ability to install the exact functionality one wants rather than bloated-evolutionary-drift-to-complexity is the vector to sustainability on all intellectual vectors.
Tim, you are working in a way that bridge helps, a few of us are more sedate and struggle with a story that builds around limited or no graphic selections, from this perspective, bridge is a bother when it suddenly starts up. It would be nice to be able to take or leave it, rather than be forced to accept what is an added function that may be the cause of crashing.
    Cordially,
    Garrett

  • Moved to a new computer, need Adobe Creative Suite

  • How do I transfer my account from my old computer to my new computer for Adobe Creative Design Suite?

    how do I

You do not want to try to transfer anything.  Install the software on the new machine the same way you did on the original.  You can keep the original installation if you would like to have a backup available.  If not, then you should deactivate the old installation by opening one of the applications and choose Help -> Deactivate.
If you do not own discs for the software, you can probably find downloads thru the following web page:

  • Adobe Acrobat X: migrating to new computer and Windows 8

Have used LapLink to move all my programs to a new computer. Adobe will not run on the new computer. I get an error 6 within the box labeled 'Configuration Error'. Any suggestions?

I really mean Acrobat X... on the files in my computer it says Acrobat 10. Am I looking at the wrong listing? I have removed most of the files in the program file called Adobe. I have uninstalled the program.
If you've got the standalone Acrobat (not part of a suite) then run the Acrobat Cleaner tool

Where do I go to get the Acrobat 10 now? Thanks.

  • How do I reinstall Creative Suite 6 Design Standard on a new computer when the computer repair shop completely destroyed my old computer?

The computer repair shop destroyed my old computer when they attempted to replace the fan. They tell me the motherboard is shot and they are buying me a new computer. I need to know how to reinstall on the new computer the Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard Student and Teacher edition that was loaded on the now broken computer.
    Thanks!

    Hi Jeff
Thanks for getting back to me. I am not sure if you understood my
situation. What I needed was to contact Adobe customer support so that they
could deactivate the CS6 on my broken computer. The problem I had, and you
might want to address this as part of Adobe customer service moving
forward, is that there is no way to contact customer service for issues
with CS6. The only support option allowed on your website is to post a
    question in the Forum.
If you follow the link you sent me to Adobe customer service, and believe
me I did, you will be taken to a page that will ask you for some
information about your product first. Once you go thru the series of
questions and windows, you reach a page that tells you that your only
support option is the Forum. It will literally not allow you to initiate a
    chat session!
I finally found that their is a small statement at the bottom of the page
from your company president saying that customer service is important to
him and to let him know how Adobe is doing. By clicking on that link I was
able to send an email and within a few hours a customer service rep named,
Sandeep Singh, responded to me and told me that he had increased my
activation count so that I could reload CS6 on my new computer.
Given that the average computer lasts 3 to 6 years and that Adobe products
are quite expensive, their should be some way for your customers to contact
customer service directly without the need to navigate through a system
designed to make it nearly impossible to contact someone. This kind of
support should be available for at least as long as one might reasonably be
expected to use your product, say 5 years.
In contrast to this difficult experience, I also  contacted Microsoft
yesterday for help with transferring  software from my broken computer to
the replacement. It was extremely easy! I went to their customer service
site answered a few questions and was presented with the option of either
chatting with a rep or having one call me. I chose call and withing 5
minutes someone called me and helped me with my issue. They even sent me an
email confirming the resolution with a case number.
This process has really made me wonder why Adobe has chosen to offer such
limited and deliberately difficult customer service. I hope these comments
can help you address these issues internally so that Adobe can improve its
    customer service experience.
    Best,
    Steve

  • I own In Design 5.5 and have a new computer.  How do I install it?

I have a new computer and own InDesign 5.5.  How do I install it on the new computer?  Adobe allows me to install as a trial and recognized the serial number.

    Depends on your OS.
If you have a new OS it might not work or might not work flawless.
Installing has to be done always from the original installer or an installer with the same language, version and plattform as your original installer was, when you download it from Adobe's web site (e.g. if your new computer has no CD drive, or the CS is broken). You will always need your serial.
You should always deactivate the old version as you can install it on 2 computer at maximum.
