New computer, up to date itunes installed but now my 1st gen shuffle won't charge, it is seen by itunes have loaded music into the ipod but just won't charge when connected to itunes HELP PLease

I've gone through all the troubleshooting of restarting computers & itunes and updating itunes. Trying to put in to DFU mode. I've tried everything. iTunes just doesnt recognize this ipod. I have multiple ipods/iphones, and everything else works. I am eliminating the people who are saying it's a broken pin, that cannot be it, because immediately before that moment, it was connected, everything on my ipod was listed in iTunes. It just promted me to update to 6.0.1 (or whatever the most recent is) I also seen a lot of issues posted on the web of people who had jailbroken phones. This ipod touch is standard, there were no jailbreaks or anything used ever.
There was a program called Wondershare Dr.Fone, which is said to be a photo recovery tool for ipods, to retrieve recently deleted photos. (Guess I shouldn't have been trying to do that) I downloaded this trial and when it opened it stated that Itunes and this could not run at the same time. It shut down iTunes automatically. At that point, I didn't do anything more with the Wondershare Dr. Fone, I didn't try to run the program or anything. iTunes prompted me that the device needed to be upgraded to 6.0.1. I had an option to download or download and install the updated 6.0.1 from Itunes. I clicked on download only. So iTunes was downloading the new version from my iPod Touch. I shut it down the Wondershare Dr. Fone, unplugged the iphone from itunes/computer, went in to settings and did a master reset. I plugged the device back in to the computer when the iTunes logo and usb came on the screen, and the computer/iTunes doesn't recognize it anymore. I've tried 4 different usb cables and four different comuters all with up to date iTunes software. I did not break the port either, nothing is inside the port, or blocking it in anyway. All 4 computers and usb cables connected fine to other ipods and iphones.
So the questions are:
How can I get my ipod out of restore mode (iTunes logo and usb cord sybol) without iTunes recognizing it?
What could I have possibly done to this ipod?
Why doesn't anyone have the answer anywhere on the internet?
(Note: Even if the Ipod is placed in DFU mode, iTunes does not recognize it)

I believe that when you reset your ipod(command given from the computer, right?) touch WHILE the ipod was updating, It cleared the system in the middle of writing files, thus corrupting(equivalent of cutting of in the middle of a sentence) the basic running system.
I suggest you go to an apple store and ask for a technical diagonosis in person. they may offer to help if the problem is fixable. If your ipod is still under warrenty, i would guess it would be free/low cost.

i recently bought a new computer and installed itunes and downloaded music already... I want to sync my new music into my ipod but it wont let me it says my ipod is linked to another itunes library, so If i want to go ahead with the process it says it will erase all my movies, photos, apps ect.. I press okay then it says about another itunes library If i want to sync my ipod i have to "erase and sync" if i go ahead with this will it erase all my photos?? All im worried about are my pictures.... if i do this will it erase my pictures... so far i havent been able to put the recently added music to my ipod... i tried it my husbands iphone and synced it since he has no music or videos... and it had the autofill option so i did this... and it worked.. why will it not work on my ipod..
You can only sync everything with your one syncing computer/iTunes library. Yu can:

When I go to add songs from my iTunes library it shows that it went into the iPod but when I look on my iPod the song is not there?

My ipod nano 6th gen. is connected to my MacBook. I have an audio book on the MacBook in Itunes, and cannot load it into the Ipod. What am I doing wrong?
Is this audiobook configured to sync to your iPod via it's Books configuration pane in iTunes? Click on your iPod's device name under Devices in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will bring you to the Summary tab. Look for the Books tab along the top and click on it.

The computer that I originally used with my ipod touch is dead, so I am now synching with another computer. I had to restore the software of the ipod, I am able to drop and drag my tunes back to the ipod but not my purchased apps. I have no problem doing this with other ipods that I have synced and backed up to this computer.

iCloud backups only give you 5GB free if your backup is larger then 5GB then you need to purchased more storage.

i have put my music on the icloud, and use i tunes match also. i want to be able to
physically have my music on my iphone as well, but syncing doesn't seem to work.
Any suggestions?I work around this by turning iTunes Match on on my computer, but keeping it off on my iOS devices. If you like this idea, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your iPhone and turn off iTunes Match. Then sync your device to your computer.
You may have to check iTunes settings on your computer to make sure it syncs music for you. I don't recall if that happens automatically - i don't think it does. When your iPhone is plugged in to your iTunes, open the Music tab under iPhone in iTunes on your computer and verify (or change) its sync settings. -

hi, I'm at my cousin's house right now and I'm downloading music onto my ipod however, she dosen't want the music on the computer, but if I erase the song on the computer, I'm afraid the song on my ipod will be erased the next time I plug it in? so is there anyway I can download songs onto my ipod but not kepp them on the computer? can anyone help?
This is possible when you set your iPod to Manually manage (click iPod in source list, General tab on the bottom). Just drag and drop any songs you like.

The unknown USB device is a HI-SPEED USB device and will funcion at reduced speed when plugged into a non-HI-SPEED port.
Recommendation
The Unknown USB Device will function at reduced speed. you must add a HI-SPEED USB host controller to this computer to obtain maximum performance.

I have already updated all my itunes software and everything else.
recently, when I connect my ipod itouch to my itunes, it shows waiting for sync to start.
Then a message saying that it failed to start.
I have restored my itouch but it still fails to sync.

Mobility and Network account Sync
