New computer will not sync recent purhcases to ipod

I haveadded a new computer to my home sharing network. I was able to transfer my existing music library and to make new itunes purhases, but the new purchases will not sync from the new computer to my ipod

Maybe the drive letter on your exHD is getting changed. If it is F: one day and you plug in a different USB device, Windows can nicely change the exHD's letter to G: for you. That would make itunes not be able to find the music, since itunes is looking for it on F: Not G:
Assign the drive letter permanently.
