New computers - need new software
I am a small business and cannot afford to purchase four copies of Photoshop and InDesign. Is there rate for a network as my computers are networked. We just got new ones so we could go to InDesign for our newspaper and although I had the PS Elements on the old computers, but I'm told it doesn't work with InDesign. Is there any help out there. How do get a telephone number so I can speak to a person from Adobe?

Adobe STAFF person: Please Help! I purchased Adobe Suite from Adobe and threw away old computer. Now new computer needs new install. I don't have the CD's. 2 entire days wasted and still no response from CHAT!!!!!!! HORRIBLE! I don't like Forum because of scammers. I paid almost $3,000.00 for this suite and Adobe seems to have no customer support! It was a scammer the last time who tried to help! Outrageous! This is NOT RIGHT OF ADOBE after I did everything the right way and they happily took my money!

I just purchased a new HP notebook with windows vista. I was previously working with a Dell notebook running XP with?the notebook card. My new notebook has a smaller PCI input so my card does not fit. Besides, the TV tuner card takes up that spot now anyways. I really cannot stand the sound quality difference and I am in dire need of a sound card. I was looking into the Audigy 2 NX external USB sound card. Will this be similar to my notebook card? I am using the logitech z5500 speakers and really only use the audio functions like speaker configuration, bass, treble, and equalizer. Is this a sufficient replacement? from screenshots it looks like the software is quite similar, if not the same. The NX is the closest match to the A2ZS PCMCIA features, however it's discontinued, it doesn't support DTS and if you plan to upgrade to Vista support is (and will stay) very basic. In the next few months?CL will release?an XtremeAudio for ExpressCard/54, you may want to hold for that.

New development - need new roads added and 33 lot address locations corrected
Hello, I am in the new homes and residential development business. I just developed a new residential development and I need to get Bing to update their roads and addresses. The addresses and roads have been in existence since about August 2014. I would have
expected them to be updated by now but the roads are missing and the address locations are incorrect.
I have figured out how to get in touch with and submit bulk data to Google (Map Content Partners), but I cannot find an access point to Bing. I have gone the route of reporting mapping errors via Bing Maps, but I
was wondering if their is a way to give Bing bulk mapping data to update new addresses and roads. I have shape files that include parcel boundaries, road centerlines, address blocks, and address points. I have also included the lot address and correct location
coordinates below.
Any help appreciated.

New Computers at New Apple Store
just got in from the new Apple store here in NY on the world famous 5th Ave. Firstly I just wanted let everyone know that this new store is AMAZING and big; just absolutely gorgeous. The kicker is that its open 24/7/365; I now know where to go during those nights when I'm tossing and turning and can't sleep.
I checked out the new MacBook and it’s pretty cool. Unlike some post I've read here the unit was quite hot on the bottom center. The plastic case feels very pleasant to the touch. The glossy screen really does make photos appear more "interesting" but I can see some people getting annoyed under certain lighting conditions, including myself. The keyboard is kind of noisy. And the trackpad feels a bit smoother than my MBP 15".
I also checked out the MBP 17" and I can tell you that this unit has a problem with the lid properly closing, every single model on display had problems fully latching when closing, and if you think the warping on the 15" is bad - take a look at the 17", IT'S REALLY NOTICEABLE. But the speakers sound much better than the 15", I'm assuming it must be because they're bigger.
Another thing, the store is giving away a free MacBook every hour until 6pm today, so if you're NY swing by and submit an entry, but if you rather not, I understand - less competition for meThanks for the tip!

I installed a new SSD drive in my computer and now Adobe Creative Suite Web Premium says I don't have a license. I have license. It was very expensive. I am disabled now, and I need this software working. Adobe Acrobat has been a primary tool for accommodating memory problems after a brain injury. (A car ran me down while I was out getting exercise.) I installed the SSD because I needed my management of PDF files to run faster. I called tech support for help when the software first stopped working, but they needed me to give them a number from my original disks. Because of my disability, I've been having someone come in to clean, and the shelves where I kept my software packages were cleared. I've been hunting for them ever since, but I can't look for them myself for very long at a time. Today I finally found them, but now I can't seem to contact tech support. What happened? I don't want to delete my old files because I need the setup to remain unchanged, because I don't do well with changes. I think all I should need is to have someone located the license file on drive E: and move it to wherever it is needed on the SSD drive, but I don't know what to look for.
Tech support is not normally available on weekends. You should contact them as soon as the weekend passes and pick up where you left off with them.

I've had this issue a couple times now. I have a iPod touch. It is a couple years old, but still new enough to have dual cameras. There have been a couple apps I've tried to load, and it tells me I need a new version of iPod software. I go to the iPod software version screen, and it tells me I have the latest version available.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.
If not successful then you need a newer model iPod if you want to use that app -
My ipod touch (model A1213) is not syncing properly. I have updated the software to the latest (2.2.1) and have even resored it. Itunes says it is working and updated but will not sync and apps. Error message says that app will not sync because a newer version needed.

Yes, you can do that. To be in compliance with the Lightroom license, it needs to be installed on only two computers. But there is no activation/deactivation process for Lightroom. Reinstalling CS5 on new computers.. what do I need to do?

I've got the Production Premium 64bit CS5 Student version, everything installed, registered, and up to date.
I'm looking to build a new computer (well, new motherboard, processor, and memory), this means I'll have to reinstall Windows 7 which will also take everything off my hard drive I assume (A good excuse for housekeeping I guess.)
Anyway, what steps do I have to take to make sure I can reinstall my CS5 programs on my new computer? I think it involves deactivating the account on my old computer, and then re-activating on my new one once it's built and all up and running, but what's the whole process? Want to make sure I do it right! (And Legal!)
Is there any point in backing up certain CS5 files, or is it best to just redownload the programs again (I'm on an uncapped BB account so it would just be the time it takes to download the new programs..) I know that for example with Valve's STEAM system, you can copy a certain folder which contains all your game data, put it in the right folder on your new computer, and it means it won't have to re-download all your games again. Is there something similar for Adobe CS5, or is it better to redownload the whole thing again to ensure there are no conflicts with the software being on a new computer?
Basically, what's the whole process I should follow for reinstalling CS5 on a new computer I'm building?

DanHey there Dan, what you described is pretty much the correct procedure for moving or reinstalling Adobe CS5 after a system rebuild or upgrade...
As far as backups, the most straightforward thing is just to use your disks to reinstall everything fresh. If you don't have disks (because you downloaded the software instead), you definitely should make them for offline backup! (which does mean you'd need to download the software again to burn a DVD or two) -
