New contact update just keeps crashing contacts.

After this new contacts update I can no longer access my contacts. Every time I try it just instantly crashes and says "Unfortunately, contacts has stopped." This is really quite horrid because now I can't use my phone has a phone now…

How do i fix error -54? ITunes just keeps crashing, its rubbish!

My Firefox just keep crashing randomly after I reformat my computer

I have just done the update to CC from the cloud and it's like….worse than before…. i can hardly have my indesign open without it crashing with this same " network connection lost…fatal error" message.
I'm working directly off my iMac hard drive there is no network!

As stated, completely exit pst (don't just leave the app) and then activate airplane mode. Then open PST and change your cloud sync option to "off". Once you deactivate airplane mode, you should be able to open PST again without the crash. Iirc, I had to work at opening PST and accessing my settings very quickly or it would still crash before opening the settings page. Unfortunately, we have to completely forget about cloud sync until the bug is fixed. Save any image files back to the ios camera roll to share with other apps or upload elsewhere.

Locate and move the com.apple.iMovie.plist and com.apple.iMovieApp.plist.lockfile files to the Desktop, launch iMovie and try again. If that corrects the problem you can delete them from the Desktop.
They will be in your Home/User/Library/Preference folder.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

Well, I hadn't rebooted after the 7.1.1 upgrade, but obviously I had to restart iTunes. After I rebooted my iBook iTunes worked... Maybe the 7.1.1 update should be marked with a must reboot?

Two things that might help. Reset all your settings and reset the phone. Use the Settings app to reset all settings. Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that helps.
You might also let us know the specific problems you have, what you've done to correct them and what, if any error messages you have received. With that info someone here might be able to help you.

Cannot even open FF6 it just keeps crashing, and crashing HELP!!!

You can do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.

It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

Ever since last Fri's update Firefox keeps crashing on most websites I visit. I've had no response to all the crash reports.

I'm operating a new laptop using Windows 7. Ever since the update last Fri, Firefox keeps crashing on most websites I visit. It's very frustrating. I've browsed to folder C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\components but there is no file nsBrowserOpt.dll.

Mozilla do not respond to crash reports that have been submitted. they are used to help analyze the causes of the crashing in order to make Firefox more stable.
Can you post some of the recent crash report IDs as shown in the [[Firefox crashes]] article, that may help somebody identify the cause of your crashes.

I recently updated my computer to windows 8.1. After about 2 days, nearly all of my applications keep crashing when I open them; chrome would just be unresponsive, mail would open and close while loading. same thing happens for nearly all my applications.
i have no idea what is happening and frankly this is quite frustrating. could anyone help me with this?

Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:
Click Start Menu
Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
Expand Custom Views
Click Administrative Events
Right click Administrative Events
Save all Events in Custom View As...
Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
Upload the .zip file to Onedrive or a file sharing service and put a link to it in your next post
If you have updated to win 8.1 and you get the error message "the system cannot find the file specified" it is a known problem. The
work around is to edit the registry. If you are not comfortable doing this DONT. If you are, backup the key before you do
Press Win+"R" and input regedit
Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Channels. Delete "Microsoft-Windows-DxpTaskRingtone/Analytic"

Safari, Software Update, VLC keep crashing on 10.6.8

I have Mac OS 10.6.8. Recently Safari 5.1.10 keeps crashing after about 10 seconds. Now the same is happening with Software Update and VLC. I opened a new account and both Safari and Software Update work fine there (no VLC in that account). Deleting ~/Library/Safari/webpageicons.db didn't help the Safari problem. Any ideas?

A Safari crash report may help - although you could try deleting ~/Library/Cookies/Cookies.plist
which has been known to cause crashes in both Safari & SW update, although not VLC that I've seen.

Skype Version 7.2.0.103 just keep crashing

I have upgraded Skype which is bacially an automatice upgrade to a version Skype Version 7.2.0.103.
Since I have upgraded my Skype Application just simply crashing. I am using WIndows 8.1 Verson.
I can open the application.
Then it stays up for about 2 min then I get the follwoing Error message:
Skype Version 7.2.0.103
First WIndows popped up and says:
Windows is checking for Solutions. >>>
Then Pops up another windwo and says the fgollowing thing >>
" Skype has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working vorrectly.
windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Debug Close program "
I have only choice to close the program.
Does any one have any solutions?

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool.
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.
