New CS2 Premium spanish--switch to English?

I have a older CS2 Premium new in the box...spanish version. Is there anyway to 'switch' it to English as it installs? Or how would I upgrade to an English version?

I cloned my HD to an SSD, but upon using the SSD in the computer, Windows CS2 Premium wanted activation again, and Adobe's activation system had some problem. My old PC has died and I have loaded my Adobe CS2 Premium software onto my new computer. When I try to activate the serial number Adobe sends me a message that I can only activate the serial number on one computer. How can I change the serial number registration to my new computer when the old one is broken and I cannot deactivate it?

Your own copy of CS2 will not be able to be activated. You need to acquire a special version that has a special serial number. See the following for more information and to get the installation files.

Found out it is not possible to activate CS2 and that I have to download the CS2 Premium in Danish with my adobe id. Went there but I only found 2 files -Acrobat st. and pro. Does anyone know how to find the Danish CS2 Premium ?

CS2 Premium Suite on Mountain Lion

So, I just switched over from Windows to Mac and decided to buy the CS2 Premium Suite. After finding out that the activation service was shut down, I downloaded all of the CS2 Premium Suite files from the Adobe website; however, none of them will run on my computer. Whenever I try to install the files, I get a message that reads, "Adobe CS2 can't be installed on this disk. Installation onto non HFS drive is not supported." Is there any way for me to get CS2 Premium Suite to run on my new Macbook, or am I going to have to spend more money on a different version for Mac? If so, which versions of the CS Suite work for the new Macbooks? Or, which versions of Photoshop work for the new Macbooks? Photoshop is my main priority.

Cs2 won't work on mountain lion (os x 10.8)
Reason: No PowerPC applications are supported on mountain lion and cs2 is a PowerPC application and your mac uses an intel processor.

Probably cs3 through cc will work on mountain lion, although newer ones probably work better.

CS2 Premium to InDesign 5.5 (only) serial number failure

I have put off upgrading for too long, but a switch to Lion forced my hand. I have the full CS2 Premium package. I bought the upgrade for InDesign only. Clearly, much has changed since my initial purchase several years ago, and I can't find the disk. My laptop hasn't upgraded to Lion, yet - thankfully? - so CS2 is still running. But the serial number there is coming up short...
I have seen the suggestion to call or contact customer support, but none is available. What burns me up is that I just chatted with support prior to purchase, and now that I'm dead in the water and desperate I can't even get a chat window or schedule a call.
Please help!

CS2 Premium reinstalling Adobe Photoshop activation problems

After recently upgrading my computer's CPU, Memory and Graphics it became necessary to singularly reinstall my Adobe Photoshop (inc. Illustrator & Bridge) since I don't use the other members of the CS2 Premium Suite I made this a custom installation. Everything is working correctly with the exception of my Adobe Activation Warning System.
As you know Adobe no longer supports the CS2 Product you sold me which is your decision regardless of my belief of how good customer service should work. Your Web Site Trouble Shooting Guide states:
Adobe strongly advises against running unsupported and outdated software. The serial numbers provided as a part of the download may only be used by customers who legitimately purchased CS2 or Acrobat 7 and need to maintain their current use of these products.
I did legitimately purchase this product and once again I disagree with Adobe and wish to continue using my CS2 Photoshop, Illustrator & Bridge.
Am I to ignore your Warning System continually as I use my product? Is there another way to peacefully resolve this conflict? or Are you going to make this ugly and insist I buy yet another updated Adobe Product that you will still continue to support (for the time being)? My wish is simply to continue using my Photoshop without threats or problems from Adobe...can you help?

You can keep using CS2 without further cost. It just requires a few steps to remove the activation version and replace it with the non-activation version.
Uninstall your CS2.
Error: Activation Server Unavailable | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
Download the non-activation version of CS2 from the above link. It's valid for CS and CS2 owners.
Install then enter the new non-activation serial number provided at that link. Your existing CS2 serial number will no longer work.

Unable to install Adobe CS2 Premium on Windows OS 7. How do I fix this ?

I am unable to install Adobe CS2 Premium on Windows OS 7. My discs require activation but do install to the OS. The non-activation version recommended gives the error message that" this version is not compatible wih OS" and will not install.

Though you may install Cs2 on Windows but you may face performace issue. Please find the System Requirement for installing for one of the CS2 product: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-photoshop.html . However I would recommend you to purchase the new CC realease with more enhanced functionalities and features.

CS2 Premium not working after re installing on Windows Vista

I reformatted my computer and re installed CS2 Premium in a new laptop with Windows Vista; however, when trying to open one of the applications such as Photoshop it says "user name, organization, or serial number is missing or invalid." Adobe does not offer tech support for CS2 anymore so my only hope is your expert information. Thank you.

I got the same problem with my CS2. I recently bought a new computer which is windows vista 64 bit, and I tried to install my old CS2 on it and every program gave me that error message when I tried to run them. I called customer support, and the answer is the same, they dont support CS2 anymore and they expect you to buy their CS4. I mean I spent $$$ on it 2 years ago and you tell me to spend another $$$ to buy it again? This is purely insane.

I am reconfiguring my old Mac and reinstalled my Adobe CS2 Premium package from the original discs. It failed activation. I searched and found http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.htm l . I followed the English link, and logged in.
The install PDF linked from that page says CS2 Premium has 7 files to download:

How can I deactivate the license for CS2 Premium software for a computer I no longer have, so I can install on my current computer?

Deactivation is no longer available for CS2 or earlier since Adobe decommissioned the CS2 activation server a couple of years ago.

On your new computer, download the new non-activation CS2 from the above link and enter the new serial number provided at that link. Your existing CS2 serial number will no longer work.
PS This will only work for Windows. CS2 will not install or run on modern Macs since the PowerPC code it is written in is incompatible with Intel processors.

"Invalid" CS2 Premium serial number

In 2009, I purchased a used Mac G4 from a friend. He also sold me the copy of CS2 Premium (the whole suite) that was installed on it. We did a conference call with Adobe to get the number and the ownership transferred to me, and the software installed on my laptop. The software was activated on my laptop and my name showed up on the splash page. Everything worked fine on both computers. The serial number shows up under my name in My Adobe/My Products.
Last year, I acquired a 2006 iMac. I deactivated and uninstalled CS2 on my laptop so I could install it on the iMac. After I installed it, the activation came back unsuccessful, so I called Adobe. The staff member told me my serial number was invalid. I asked her what she meant by invalid and to explain what the problem was, and she eventually hung up on me. Any idea what I can do to be able to use CS2 again? I'd rather not uninstall and reinstall the download you currently have made available since I have the software on disk. I have a satellite broadband connection that has a daily limit of 200MB.

Thank you both. I guess what I was hoping for was a way to precisely not need activation, at all. As in, a way to use the software that I already have installed and have a serial number for without jumping through extra hoops. Connecting to Adobe with a serial number and getting an OK, maybe? Perhaps there's built-in programming in the disks that prevents that. I guess I'll try downloading, staying up half the night if I have to.
John, this was in the summer, before the announcement that the activator servers were toast. The staffer kept saying it was invalid, and would not explain any further or answer my questions.
A secondary question: I own the original CS with a different serial number. It was an upgrade from Photoshop 7. I tried to install that thinking it would be better than nothing, but it's asking for my Photoshop 7 number! I am not sure where that is, it must be packed away somewhere. We're talking 12-14 years! The number also doesn't show up in My Products, although my Illustrator 10 number does... Why must Adobe make things so difficult for customers who need to hold on to older software? This is out of necessity. Even if I could afford CS6, I don't have a Mac new enough to run it.

I have Adobe CS2 PREMIUM installed and need to upgrade to CS4. Will the CS4 STANDARD full version work to upgrade? or am I forced to buy the Premium? I am a print designer and not into web creation. So I don't use the web apps anyway.

Any other options would be appreciated. Actually CS2 has never given me a problem. The reason I need to move ahead is I am running into compatibility issues with the agency I recieve artwork from. CS4 is the highest I can go with a powerpc. I really cannot aford a new mac right now. One last HELP Please. Thank You!

I love CS4. What I hate is that you have to read the whole listing to see that THIS IS ONLY AN UPGRADE FROM CS3 TO CS4, not any other versions. So I spent hours preparing for this transition, hours upon hours, and when I called Adobe support they said "Oh, yeah, this is a really common problem. There's really no way to tell the CS3-CS4 from the CS2-CS4 upgrades, and they cost the same price. We could help you, but you didn't buy it from us..." Aargh! So I'm returning it, Amazon won't make any money, I have to explain to my office that they're stuck on CS2 for a while, and there's just no way my boss will believe this isn't something completely negligent on my part.

Upgrading from CS2 'Premium' to Photoshop CS5

I have CS2 Premium and find that I have no use for much of the suite's products, though I use Photoshop quite a bit. I would like to upgrade to the new Photoshop CS5 and was wondering if I can do this from CS2 Premium? All I see in the "upgrade from" choices are Photoshop CS4 Extended, Photoshop CS3 Extended, or Photoshop CS4, CS3, and CS2.
So I don't know what to choose if I can even choose any of these upgrade paths.
Anyone know?

How to upgrade from CS2 Premium to CS4 Design Standard

Have had CS2 Premium running on my Vista machine (32bit) for some time now without problems. Recently purchased CS4 Design Standard upgrade, but have left it in the box for some time. Things have calmed down, ready to try the upgrade. Is there a definitive recommended approach to this - i.e. just install over or remove existing. I've ready countless problems, suggestions etc., but felt by now, there must be a right way to do this. Appreciate any guidance,

sorry to be a pita, just want to minimize potentail problems. A few more questions then:
1. So are you saying the install doesn't overaly on CS2 but in fact keeps it and installs CS4 separately? That's a lot of wasted mb. Or
2. am I given a choice upon install - over CS2 or new? And
3. if I install in a separate directory, will uninstall of CS2 later on once i'm comfortable with CS4 delete any shared files?
