New DC without netlogon share is not working.

Hello all,
I have a brand new DC (server 2012) that I joined to my domain and it is not behaving. It is a clean install plus the directory services role, the static IP and the promotion, nothing else. The domain has one more DC (server 2012) and it is functioning
properly. The DNS servers of the new DC are the working DC and 127.0.0.1 as secondary. The time is the same, the name is new on a new install of windows (no images, no cloning, no restores). The promotion completed successfully with the initial replication
(it said).

Can anybody help me get a second DC for this domain running? It is kind of urgent... I tried demoting/promoting, reinstalling, I tried to do a non-authoritative restore, however, I don't have the appropriate registry key... I saw the various different posts
on similar issues, please do not paste them as I read them and I was not able to solve this.

Thank you big time for your time and help today. After we finished talking I tried the authoritative restore (vs non-authoritative the first time - didn't help) and then I started over (one more time) and created one more DC. Before promoting it I disabled
the firewall and the user control in order to make sure nothing is stopping it. I also triple checked the time. I promoted it without the DNS server and Global Catalog functions. I faced the same wall. After the promotion the SYSVOL and NETLOGON shares were
still not there.
After hours of more reading I finally found this:

and it saved me. So I followed this guy's steps and my system shares showed up on both new DCs. Then I had to wait one more hour for everything to get in sync and after that I successfully shut down my main DC and the other two took over.

'Get All New Data Request by Request' option not working Between DSO n Cube

Could anyone please tell me why the option ' Get one Request only' and 'Get All New Data Request by Request' is not working in DTP between Standard DSO and InfoCube.
Scenario:
I have done the data load by Yearwise say FY 2000 to FY 2009 in Infopackage and load it to Write-optimised DSO (10 requests) and again load Request by request to Standard DSO and activate each request. I have selected the option in DTP's to 'Get All New Data Request by Request' and its working fine between WDSO and SDSO. But not working between Cube and SDSO. While Execute DTP its taking as a single request from SDSO to Cube.( 10 request to single request).

How does your DTP setting looks like from below options ? It should be change log, assuming you are not deleting change log data.
Delta Init. Extraction from...
- Active Table (with archive)
- Active Table (without archive)
- Archive ( full extraction only)
- Change Log
Also if you want to enable deltas, please do not delete change log. That could create issue while further update from DSO.

The head phone jack on my brand new iPod touch 5th generation is not working properly. It has sound without the headphones in but when I plug them in it has no sound, it's low, or poppy. I had only used my apple supplied headphones once before and it worked fine. I know it's not the headphones because I tried them on my girlfriends phone and they worked fine.

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

Share calculation Not working in the report

Iam surprised not to ge the simple share calculation not working at my report.
I have a dimension and corresponding values ( measures) .I made a Total at the end of the report. and I want to calcualte share of Total to each corresponding value.
how to do this, any thougts,...
I have used calculated memebers for this, But I wan to make the percentage of the total ( which is calculated inside Tool itself)

Not totally sure what you are trying to achieve but there a couple of possible solutions:
1) Total = total of all dimension members. Assuming you only have three dimension members then you should have a fourth member called ALL_DIMS or something similar. In the Share calculation template you need to specify the Total level as the basis for your share calc. This will generate the following result:
                         Revenue % Share
- All Members     600         100%
     A                  100           17%
     B                  200           33%
     C                  300           50%2) The total you are referring to is in fact a sub total and is the result of adding together only the results for A + B + C, i.e. you have hundreds of dimension members but you specifically want to see a total for just these three members. To do this create a new custom aggregate call "My Total" and add together the dimension members A + B + C - Custom Aggs are a new feature to Discoverer OLAP (Checkout Mark Rittman's excellent blog article for more information on this feature: http://www.rittmanmead.com/2006/11/13/checking-out-the-new-discoverer-101220-features/)
Then in the Share calculation wizard set the basis for your index using the last option in the list "Specific Dimension Member" and select your new custom aggregate member.

What are you setting it up as.. join wireless network .. the very worst setup, it will disappear.. reboot the whole network in order modem. router TC.. clients and it will likely reappear.
Tell us what network setup you are using..
If you setup with cable to a computer completely isolated from the network with TC also isolated.. finish the setup of everything you want. .before update.. then plug it into the network. .then restart everything in correct order.. it will work most of the time.

Had the same problem as you. App would terminate when launched.
Solution to working You Tube app:
-Go to playstore
- Uninstall app (it doesn't remove the app, only removes the update)
- "Et Voila", working again.
This doesn't correct the problem, it's just a workaround for you to be able to use youtube app again.

I really can't comprehend the logic that leads to believe that password for old apple id will come to e-mail for new id. Buy may be I just misunderstood something. Contact Apple for assist with password retrieval. If you can verify yourself as account owner they may be able to help you.

you can update from iMovie versions 7, 8 and 9, but iMovie HD is iMovie 6.
Maybe you can update in two steps, first from iMovie 6 to iMovie 7, 8 or 9 then to iMovie 10.

I had this happen to me as well. just last week (july 28, 2014) I brought my magic mouse from home to work since my work mouse was going south. paired it with bluetooth, it moved and clicked but no scroll or gestures. searched till I nearly ready to give up. then I installed USB overdrive. many forum posts said too remove that. I didn't have it, so I installed it. and then un-installed it. everything works great now.

What operating system are you using?
Which version of camera raw do you have in photoshop cs6?
After you select the Adjustment Brush, the New button should already be enabled.
Then after you draw on an area of the image, the Add button should be enabled, with the option to choose either of the other two buttons; New or Erase
Could you post a screenshot?
Maybe all the adjustment values are set to zero?
(at least one needs to have a value other than zero)

I finally figured it out. Flash Player had not installed. I had to de-activate Active-X thru the safety tab on the menu bar and then download the Adobe Flash Player and now it's working. I re-activated Active X after I finished installing Flash,. Hope fully everything will keep working fine!

You will need to use an external DVD drive to run the disc installer that came you your machine. You can also do it with another Mac using the Remote Install Max OS X app. Finely, if you have access to another computer, you could burn the install image on a USB thumb drive, boot from that, erase the drive and run the installer.
