New Tutorial and example available on OTN - representing preferences

The tutorial demonstrates an approach for using preferences in conjunction with approaching limits or thresholds. The approach is useful in dealing with aggregating across a set such as line items, insurance claim lines etc, while considering individual or annual deductibles and copays, accumulating inventory for shipping from multiple locations or expressing preferences such as for replacement or up-sell, cross-sell of products, preferential configurations based on available inventory, etc.

This sample code is an Eclipse project and simulates a stream of market Exchange events, which is joined with a Stock table present in the StockDs data-source. The joined result is printed-out to Stdout. An OutputBean creates a table using the StockDs data-source, and inserts a single row representing stock 'AAA'.
Sample: Pattern Name: JMS ADAPTERS PATTERN- Send events using a JMS publisher, and receive events using a JMS subscriber (11.1.1.3.0)
This sample code is an Eclipse project and simulates a stream of TestEvent events. TestEvents are converted to both a JMS map message and JMS Text message and published to a JMS destination using a JMS out-bound adapter. A JMS in-bound adapter is used to subscribe to the destination, and converts both JMS map message and JMS Text message to a TestEvent event. Conversion to a JMS map message is handled automatically. Conversion to a JMS Text message is done through a custom OCEP JMS Message converter, called TestMessageConverter.

This sample code is an Eclipse project and highlights two useful implementations with Oracle Coherence. The Application provides a cache loader which pre-loads the cache and then this data is 'joined' to the streaming data generated by the provided loadgen utility which highlights how simple events can be augmented with other information, creating a new 'synthetic" event. This Application also shows how event data can be 'pushed' into the cache and then how the changed data triggers output to the console.

Is the problem here that you get a value error when calling the FileUploader package - if this is the issue then simply do a global search and replace in FileUpload.pll to change 256 to 512, then the variables should be long enough for Double Byte. If you're using Unicode then change all the 256's to 1024 to be safe.
The Java Code for the utility does not have any constrained lengths so I expect the problem is in the PL/SQL.
If this works then let me know and I'll amend the demo and re-post it.

We are pleased to announce the General Availability of Agile PLM for Process Extensibility Pack 3.6 as of October 30th, 2013.
Extensibility Pack 3.6 provides two new technical enablement features:
Email Extensibility
Customizing the content of workflow emails in GSM and SCRM without custom code is now easier with the addition of a new set of placeholder variables, conditional variables, and other capabilities. These variables are available by deploying a new set of plugins, which can be configured through the CustomPluginExtensions.xml file.
Some examples of the new functionality include:
Displaying new data in the emails, such as the workflow Comment, Cross Reference numbers, Category/Sub-category/Group, a trade specification’s GTIN, a material specification’s Ingredient Statement, etc.
Providing meaningful related specification information in Signature Document emails.
Conditionally displaying data, such as only including a material specification’s classification if it is an Approved status.
User Interface Extensibility
Clients wishing to customize specific User Interface behavior, such as marking certain fields as read only, or applying formatting to show required fields, will be able to do this using the User Interface Extensions feature. Clients can write simple Javascript code which then gets pulled into the desired user interface pages. The Javascript code can leverage useful new Javascript variables and functions that make it easier to perform user interface manipulation, as well as access specific data from the given item (e.g., the specification’s status, the user’s groups, etc).

I have PCI 8532 devicenet card in my system, the test unit has devicent implemented in it,
to verify devicenet is working or not we check whether we can read Devicenet vendor id, I have downoaded the latest driver NI-IndComDNET2.1-Beta1.

Port opens fine, but I cannot see connection being established.I always get the error Error -1074388991 occurred at Get DeviceNet Attribute.vi
I know connections are proper and the Device MAC ID and speed too. Pls throw some light.'

Unable to compile Dynamic news Demo

I'm unable to compile the Dynamic News Demo. I have the following error message :
method setXSLT not found in oracle.xml.sql.query.OracleXMLQuery.
Which version of the Oracle XML utility I need.
I check the Oracle XML utility documentation and didn't find this method!

Yes currently the extension is strictly a top-level browsing tool with no mapping metadata drill down/editing capabilities.
Those features are being planned for the next major release of this extension kit, as part of our major effort to rewrite the map definition tool. there is however no ETA yet.

Can you add new file extensions to be treated as C source?

Hi, using Sun Studio 9, is it possible to add a new file extension to those treated as C sources? I can see how to do it for header files (Options -> IDE Configuration -> System -> Object Types -> C and C++ Header Data Objects -> Extensions and MIME types) but this option is not available for C files.
In case anyone's wondering why you'd want to do this: we use .pc extensions for C files containing embedded SQL statements. It's then pretty simple to make a .pc.c rule in makefiles to run the pre-compiler.

Version Cue manages projects. It keeps track of who did what to where and what version is current. It also allows you to submit different versions for consideration and revert specific items of your layout to previous versions or is that Bridge? Hopefully someone with a better grasp of Bridge and Version Cue will come to your rescue. But it's obvious that there is a lot of work group functionality built in to CS.

Hi Folks, When will BRE [Backup restartable Extensions] be available in Ontap Cluster mode. With 7-mode there is no issue, we can suspend and restart backup from the checkpoint, however with Ontap cluster mode version 8.3 I am currently running, this is not possible [I guess all versions]. If the Job is suspended in cluster mode, session ID is lost and new session ID is generated when the backup is resumed, in other words data backup starts from begining. Is this something will be available in Onap 8.4 cluster mode ? Thanks,

We have could not find any java action class such as Maintainb2csaveorderaction in config.xml folder and also there is no available threads and clue on SDN, google etc. Therefore we are got stucked on this issue. In SAP_ISA_60 Development and Extension Guide of SAP E-Commerce there is no sample java action class code such as Maintainb2csaveorderaction but some ABAP codes are available for the extension structure.
Do you suggest any java action class such as Maintainb2csaveorderaction codes like in your B2B scenarios etc.?

Please advise! I have been trying to revive Firefox for hours today--

Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "option" while Firefox is starting up. If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]].
There is also a lot of useful stuff in the [[Firefox crashes]] Knowledge Base article. If you've recently upgraded, you might want to check out [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/latest-firefox-issues#w_firefox-crashes-when-i-start-it this article] as well.

I have a cube and data loaded into it.Now i came to know that one request is having wrong data and need to be deleted,without deleting I did reverse posting.Now that particular data(means new data) is not available in reporting.The reporting symbol in request(manage tab) is not available for this request.
Now what should I do,in order to get new data in reporting.

I got this message today too. I understand that my music is stored on my computer, however I want to be certain that if I re-install iTunes, it won't erase my library....playlists, playcounts, checked songs, etc.
