New drivers don't allow anything but 2.1 speaker. (any fix for this?)

Or should I just go back to the old drivers. I may just switch brands cause i'm tired of the crackling issues on an intel chipset with no fix. Then I get new drivers and they just introduce even more problems.
So is there a fix for this or not?
This is windows vista 64 SP. Using SB fatality pro PCI-E

Actually never installed new drivers in safemode. I used ctzapp to clean up what the uninstaller didn't get. Ran ctzapp in safe mode. then rebooted back into safemode to let ctzap finish properly. Then ran driver sweeper after all in safe mode. Its strange how creative drivers need all this work. When nvidia drivers never give problems uninstalling and installing new drivers course its for graphics but much less of a headache.
Still get static though which can't be reproduced. It just happens and when it does I can fix it without rebooting by changing the sample rate to something else then back again.

These last upgrades have really made this Ipad an I Brick. Any fixes for this slow devce that frezzes half the time and sometimes takes seconds to recognize my typing.

Since it seems App related, I'm not sure what to offer you. I guess the only suggestion I have is for you to reboot your iPad and then try again. To reboot, hold the power and home buttons at the same time for at least 10 seconds (keep holding past the swipe to shut down bar if it appears) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. You won't lose any settings or data, so it's worth a shot.

I recently noticed that several of the movies I purchased in ITunes no longer will play. A notice screen pops up and says they are unable to locate. The do however play on my new AppleTV that I just set up. Is there a fix for this?

When you get to "Now Playing", tap once on the artwork in order to see the timeline of the playing song. Look on the left side, the repeat one button is probably active.
Tapping once this icon bring the repeat option, tapping again will bring the repeat one option. There you can also tap the shuffle button on the right.

Try to reset the iPod by pressing the home and sleep button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data doing a reset, but it can clear some glitches after installing new software or apps.

Open Finder preferences, click on the General icon in the toolbar. Check the boxes for what you want displayed on the Desktop. Click on the Sidebar icon in the toolbar and do the same for what you want displayed in the sidebar.

New iPod Touch connected to wifi but will not open any browser

I just purchased an I pod touch w/ the software upgrade included, but the touch will not connect to a web browser through safari, youtube, or any internet based channels. I use a belkin router which is showing up under the settings in my iPod Touch. The connection is a 15meg DL and 1 meg UL so I don't believe that speed would be a problem. Please Help

Despite the WiFi connection sign you may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address when the iPod requested it. To check on this go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address shown starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix for this can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

It appears that a) Hotmail has 19 domains functioning as distributors for malware and b) someone is distributing pirated software. Although it does not appear to be related to the recent trojan, my suggestion: stay away from both.
Edit: so why does everyone here appear to have pirated software (and doing it through it App Store)?????

Have you tried .....
Settings>WiFi>Network Name - tap the blue arrow - and tap forget this network. Restart the iPad connect to your network, reenter the password and see if works now.
Settings>General>Reset Netowrk Settings. Restart the iPad, connect to your network, reenter your password and try again.
Turn WiFi Off, restart the iPad, turn WiFi on again, select your network, reenter the password and try again.
Finally - maybe a dumb question - are you entering the correct password?
