New E3000 shuts computer off when turning on
Just got a new E3000 and when I turn it on it shuts the computer to blue screen warning. Two other laptops are unaffected, but, cannot even install the cisco connect software. I've reset the E3000, plugged it in further away, cleaned the registry of cisco and retried, changed settings in the computer's wireless card, all to no avail. I suspect my wireless card (Creatix 802.11g) in this desktop computer, but, do not know what to try, and do not have another wireless card to try.
I've been working on this for 3 days now, trying different approaches and it would be very nice if someone could help me as soon as possible. Thanks,
Larry
Try to configure the router manually .
Connect the computer with the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port of Linksys router also make sure that Internet is connected to the router .
Press and hold the reset for 30 seconds on the router .
Power cycle the modem and router .
Open the setup page of the Linksys router and configure it manually .
Once your Internet works , Download the latest Cisco Connect from the Linksys website and Run it .

My Iphone won't connect to my wifi , its the phone as everyone and everything else is connected to it.
Ive shut it off and turned it back on , when it asks for the password I put it in and push join but nothing happens.Try resetting your network setting on your iPhone. Go to your Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. (this will delete any saved wi-fi passwords that are currently on the phone). If that doesn't resolve the issue. Try connecting the phone to your computer and doing a back up and restore, once it is restored set it up as a new iPhone (very important step) then test the issue. If it resolves the issue reconnect your phone and then restore it from the back up you created earlier. Follow this article if you want to do the back up and restore.

I got a message screen telling me I needed to update to the latest firefox version. So I proceeded to update to 3.6.13. The update window said it was almost finished with just a few seconds remaining. It was taking a very long time when it got to that point so I minimized that screen and went to do something else. My computer kept freezing up so I went back to the update window to see how it was coming along and noticed it had paused, I tried to hit the resume button but it didn't work. I turned my computer off and turned it back on hoping that I could just start the update over but the same message was there when I went to try to update again. It still said it was almost finished with the previous update and that it was paused. What do I do to correct this?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

I have an iphone 6 plus, although out of no where, it gave me the notification of no service. I've already shut it off and turned it back on several times and even reset the network settings, but it continues saying likewise. What do I do?
FIRST, call your carrier and ask if they have a local network outage. Also try moving a few miles from your current location to see if you have coverage elsewhere. Next, contact your carrier and get a replacement SIM. If that doesn't fix it take it to an Apple store for evaluation. If it is defective they will replace it.

My MacBook Pro randomly froze during a sync to my iPhone and started making a scratching noise by the power button. I shut it off then turned it back on and it won't take me to the desk tops it will just flash a folder with a question mark in it. What do I do?
You have a HDD problem (hopefully you have a backup). Start with the information on this support article:

Hi, I have a the 4s i have had it for a couple months...never any problems. When i went to use it the other morning...before the update I noticed I had some missed calls and text messages - the phone had not rang or alerted me. I checked the volume in settings and also that the switch on the side was on for sound. But when I touched it the vibrate on/off screen kept flashing on my phone. I can only hear the phone ring through my aux wire and headphones. It does not ring from the bottom...nor does it play music or any video noise. It does play my alarms. I tried to shut it off before and after i restored it and it would restart on its own...and then I would have to enter my WIFI password again. Does anyone have a suggestion?
Do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears. If that does not help, take it to an Apple store genius bar for the techs to check.

Shutting Itself Off When Plugging It In
Alright, new problem: after doing the upgrade and having issues, then downgrading, the contacts duplicated AGAIN so I decided to plug it in and restore them. Guess what? Every time I plug it in, the phone shuts itself off. If I plug it into the computer, or the normal charger it does this. Ugh.
Let's first try the following document:

MACBOOK JUST SHUT RIGHT OFF, NOT TURNING ON
Hey guys,
My girlfriend has a Macbook that she bought last March. last night it abruptly shut right off and will not turn back on. The battery charges and is now full but will not turn on. I know this is a major hardware problem but I was wondering if anyone has ever had this, knows what happened, and got it fixed. Thanks. Any help would be great, she's got all her work on it.Check the hard drive, make sure it's correctly installed. I heard that some of the hard drives vibrate and come out of it's socket and the computer no longer starts.
To check it, flip the computer over, take out the battery and remove the three screws (don’t worry this is a user serviceable part so your warrenty is safe). And then pull the hard drive out, it sits next too the battery, and then put it back in. -
I have a new iMac 27" computer purchased yesterday. It is running Maverick 10.9.4. I had an iMac 24" running the latest version of Maverick it could run. The graphics card crapped out and I could not repair the computer. Howver, I had a "My Passport" back-up disk from which I transferred all the files to the new machine. Howver, I can not open any of the CS4 apps. I get the error message: 150:30, which I I have learned from Apple is a licensing issue error code! How can I activate my CS4 on the new computer?
You can run the license repair tool from Error "Licensing has stopped working" | Mac OS or you can simply uninstall the product and can reinstall the product from Download CS4 products.

My Ipod keeps turning on and shutting back off when trying to recharge.
My 4th Generation 30gb ipod powers on and turns itself back off before it loads the menu screen when I try recharging it. It does repeatedly and I can't access the menu or anything because the battery is low. Can someone identify this problem? I hope my ipod hasn't failed me because I have taken good care of it.
