Seems like there is a major firmware release coming to the E66 soon (and most likely the E71). Does anyone have any more info (i.e. changelog) yet?

My brand new MacBook Pro retina display not charging the battery any more after 3 weeks...no green or red Led. Any one now about this problem? Thanks
Either the power brick is damaged, or the charging circuit is on the blink, or both. Either way, a trip to the Apple Store or the Apple Authorized Service Provider is in order, as this ain't no bargain basement toy.
In the meantime, can attempt an SMC Reset to see if it helps. -
New Illustrator Patch Coming soon?
Since I updated Illustractor CC the other day, I haven't been able to open it. Using Mac OS 10.9.
I've seen all the threads about font issues and such. Moving Verdana to System fonts folder hasn't helped.
Does anyone have a fix for this? Or is there a new patch coming soon? This is kinda slowing me down.

This was posted on the blackberry site yesterday.. The update is coming to the zos 10 soon and they are working on the USB sync to outlook.. I am glad they are listening to the needs of their customers.

I read an article on a german site claiming that new MBPs will soon come out since the differences of actual models to the new MBs are simply too small. Since I just ordered a 17" MBP, I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on this matter.
I'm enjoying the MBP I got.
The fact that newer models or revisions are being released doesn't really bother me. But if I would have seen a black MacBook when I was shopping I probably would have gotten that one. -

E71, after updating to 200.21.118, contacts will n...
as the title says, when i press the contact button or go to contacts in the communciation of menu, it just flickers and does not open the list contacts. Yet my contacts are all still there, i can search them on the home screen by typing out the contacts characters. i've held down the contacts button to reset the shortcut, but the problem is still there. I've also tried restoring factory settings to no aval. this is frustrating because sometimes i need to go down the list to remember who i should be sending messages to.
Could anyone help me?!?!? how do i get contacts menu back!?!?I found this comment:

Solution
Luckily I went to the Nokia forums to see if there was anyone who had a similar problem. First I came across the problem which is highlighted by the user here. Unfortunately no one was able to give a solution to him. Then I came across a problem which highlighted the same problem. The thread had a solution as well which was given by a member named homenetuk.
The solution was to uninstall "Nokia Internet Services Support". To uninstall this you need to go to the Installations --> App. mgr. You would get a list of software installed on your E71. Amongst them you would find "Nokia Internet Services Support". Select it and press the left button for Options. Select "Remove" from the menu and uninstall "Nokia Internet Services Support".
You should be done now and your address book (contacts) should work now.
Some of the users suggested removing Live Messenger. If the above trick does not work for you try uninstalling Live Messenger as well.
Removing live messenger fixed the problem for me.

New MacBook Pro line coming soon?
I am days away from buying a new MacBook Pro 13 inch, but wanted to see if anyone heard rumors of new MBP's coming soon? If so, are there any upgraded features worth waiting for?
I would highly recommend holding off if you can, from what I've seen from several sites is that the new MBP line is within the next month, three at the most. The refresh should include some decent new technology. I would do a google search on "macbook pro rumors" if you want more speculation regarding what may or may not be in the next line. BTW, seriously looking forward to the refresh of the MBP line.

That is the exact news I was hoping for. I had one of the 3 blue label laptops with the Intel Wireless Display (Dell 1569). I Loved everything about it, except it was garbage. I had 3 of them. First one, the Media Center crashed and GeekSquad couldnt fix it, second one came with a squeaky mouse button and they replaced it again, and for the third and the worst one. The Wi-Fi card actually burnt and melted the bottom of my laptop plastic (left an indention of my finger print on the bottom of the laptop. Thank goodness, even though the laptop was 2 months old, the manager gave me a full refund in the form of a gift card.)
So, I am basically looking for the same exact type of laptop, but would actually be reliable. The Dell had the Wi-DI, an I5 processor, lighted keyboard, and a lot of other extras. Should we expect to see something compariable coming in that time frame that you mentioned?
Also, not to question your timeframe. but from looking at Intels website, it stated that the 3 blue label laptops that came with the WI-DI (Intel Wireless Display) would start to be at Best Buy stores by January 17th and with them having a 6 month exclusive contract on that technology. Wouldn't that mean that there would not being any new Intel Wireless Display Technology laptops until atleast June 17th?
Lastly, any new laptops coming in that timeframe or a little later (a couple weeks or so) that would be equipped with Nvidia Optimus graphics card? As I read and saw a youtube video showing that the Nvidia Optimus graphics card actually work with the Intel Wireless Display Technology. -
I have been wanting BT Infinity for ages; with the belief that it would never be in my area I renewed my 12 month o2 contract at a cut price. I just checked the BT Infinity checker by entering my phone number and it says 100MB download and 15MB upload 'Coming Soon'.
Does anyone have any information on this? Have BT started rolling out 100MB broadband yet?Not being in the very fortunate position your in...... my checker was nothing like yours.

Looks like a provisional survey of the area/street may have been done and the fibre cable will be supplied to your premises via telegraph poles... Over Head Cable feed.
As I understand it the FTTP trials have just ended (1 Nov) so looks like Bt are releasing the FTTP product.
I'd phone BT sales and enquire.... as there would be a lot more work involved getting the cable directly to you they will need to get a commitment before doing that work I suppose.
