New EIT Not appearing for Organization classification

Hi all,
I have set up a new EIT for the organization. I have run the scripts for populatting
the information_type in the hr_org_information_types table and also hr_org_info_types_by_class but the new EIT is not appearing in the new classification.
Can someone help me as to what I have missed out.

I am using Mac OSX 10.10.1 (memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, graphics Nvidia GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB)
and my version of Photoshop is CC.
I ran into the same problem: I am able to place and view Blur Gallery pins but the adjustment wheel or outer control arounf the pin that allows you to tweak the blur value disappeared after being initially available. Additionally, the placed pin or pins appear to flicker on screen (while in blur gallery mode) until committing the change with the OK button. I have tried restarting both the computer and Photoshop, as well as what some other users have suggested such as View>Show>Edit pins turned on. Nothing has helped so far. I am still able to adjust the blur amount from the Blur Tools slider. thank you.

Why do AVCHD (.mts) video thumbnails not appear in Organizer 8?

Thumbnails for video clips imported into Organizer 8 (via Premiere Elements 8) are not appearing for AVCHD (.mts) files. Numerous online forums show this is a common issue, however other than renaming file extensions from .mts to .m2ts, I have not found any other more practical solutions. Adobe customer service was of no help. Other proposed solutions such as installing new codecs have not solved the issue. Any ideas?

I am having the same problem on both systems that I run Premiere Elements 8 Organizer. All software and drivers are up to date.The only way that I can get thumbnails to display for AVCHD files in the Organizer, is to change the file extension from .mts to .m2ts. In my opinion, that is clearly a bug with the Organizer that must be fixed by Adobe ASAP. Organizing video without thumbnails is next to useless.
If you start a new project and open Premier Elements you can create the thumbnails for AVCHD files with the .mts extension by right clicking each one and selecting Update Thumbnail (which is laborious, at best). However, when you exit the project and go back to Organizer the thumbnails are still not there, nor can you create them. Next, go back into Elements and the thumbnails are there.
Can you say bug!
Update 07/15/10: I contacted technical support and they said that this is a known problem. The only solution, if you could call it that, is to use file renaming utility to change all your file extensions from .mts to .m2ts. I hope they fix this problem and release an update soon, as all I shoot these days is AVCHD with the Panasonic HDC-TM700K.

MatGrp not appearing in PO Classification ???

Hi,
I added a new Characteristic 'MatGrp' to the Class of PO Release Strategy. However, this MatGrp does not appear in Classification but other existing Characteristics are appearing.
I have tried deleting and recreating the Class, Release Strategy, Release Grp and assignments in CL24N but still MatGrp does not appear in Classification.
Can anyone help in this ???

That is what I did, but still the MatGrp does not appear. I had even redone the whole process right from Scratch but still MatGrp does not appear in PO Classification but other Characteristics do appear like Doc Type, Value etc.

AED not appearing for utilization

Hi all
I am reposting the question having hopes of getting replies..
A similar question asked in this forum has also been included.
This particular case is for import trading scenario
Purchase Order is made in MM and during MIGO excise invoice is captured.Addnl CVD value 4% will be taken as AED.The same can be displayed in transaction J1IG.
Client has the requirement of displaying AED in J1IJ while capturing the excise invoice created during MIGO itself i.e, during goods inward as the same will be considered for RG23D reporting purposes.
But AED (Addl CVD 4%) is not being displayed in J1IJ for depo sales.
Also there is no field called as AED for capturing the same in J1IJ,but there are additional fields TAX1 and TAX2 in J1IJ.
BED,ECS,SEcess is transferred from J1IG to J1IJ but not AED
Awaiting all your useful feedbacks to display AED in J1IJ

Hi All,
I am having input credit available for AED whereas the payable amount is not there for AED. So I want to utilise this AED amount against other payable amounts but this AED credit balance is not showing for utilization. When I have checked for other plant where AED payable is available then the AED input credit is also showing for utilization.
I have checked the CIN settings: In excise registration details for the plant, the Liable to AED option is ticked and under Account determination settings--- RG23 AED account has been assigned to UTLZ ETT.
Can anybody please suggest that what other settings needs to be done or is there any specific settings for cross utilization which I might have missed out on.

Hi,
If i am correct you are referring to ADC (Additional Customs duty) in case of imports. This duty value is similar to AED (In screens it will be in AED column only) but in customization you will be using subtransaction type "IP" to differentiate AED from ADC, you need to maintain G/L accounts for Excise transaction types and subtransaction type IP, so that the duty values are passed on to those G/L accounts.

Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

But in the delivery the batch number and expiry date is appearing.

New field not appearing in component configuration for standard web dypro

I'm trying to add a new column to a table in an sap web dynpro component. I've enhanced the view to add in the new column but also noticed that it's using component configuration. When I go into the approriate configuration, however, all of the existing columns are there but my new column does not appear. Is there something else I need to do to pull the new field into the configuration?

Standard object 0020 gives fields only available in standard tables MARA , MARC , MBEW, MAKT . I too faced this problem for ML based fields in accounting & costing views ( as these fields are not in MBEW they are in CKMLHD). The said Z field if it does not exist in MARC it cannot be seen through std object. U need to do a saperate recording to upload this field. I dont see any other option to my knowledge.U can up load remaing fields through the std object 0020 & create a saperate recorded LSMW only for this Z field.

New class created not appearing for users

Hi Friends
I have created a Course and then the offering for that course. I created a class as well for that offering. While creating the course I selected the organization in the learner access. The course is future dated in February.
However when an employee from that organization is searching for that course it does not appear. The class is in Planned state. My EBS is 12.1.3. Any idea why this class is not appearing when the learner is searching for that class.
Also another question when I select the organization in the learner access and include all the orgs in the hierarchy, does it mean that all the orgs under that org will be included in the learner access.

The process you have described sounds right. You should contact Oracle Support, they will be able to help you find out what is missing.

While working on Oracle Discoverer. When the user opens a report and clicks on the search button a new window should appear but it doesn't.

Position not appearing for many users in SRM Org.

We are using 7.02. HCM data is being replicated to SRM. We have rolled out one Company code in our Org.
When users start using SRM, they couldn't able to perform, as Position is not being transferred from HR. We are solving when each user is complain, one by one. Is there any way where can find list of users who don't have position in SRM Org. Accordingly that list of users data can be pulled from HR. Can we pull the data of HR for list of users.
Pls. let me know the easiest way in doing this.

Hi,
You can use drag and drop, its why it was created in the first place.
If you don't like doing that, you could end the relation in time.
And then assign the user to the new Organizational Unit.
Or you could delete the relationship and assign the new one.
always refresh the organizational buffer when you're done (transactions SWU_OBUF)

DateTimeControl Not Appearing for some Users

I have the DateTimeControl on SharePoint web part. It works fine for most people but for others the calendar selection button does not appear. Only the textbox appears.

We can do as follows:
1. We can create a new user with the same permissions as the user who can not see the calendar selection button.
Then use the new user login site and see whether the issue occurs.
2. Use the new user to debug your code.
3. Use IE8 to check whether the calendar selection button appears.

Number of new emails not appearing on menu bar

I am using Firefox 4 and yahoo mail. The yahoo menu bar appears at the top of my browser screen. Where it shows "mail" a number would appear showing me how many new emails were waiting for me. With FF4 it no longer shows.
The actual number is not important to me. But the fact that there are fresh emails waiting is important. Is this feature gone? Is there a way to activate it? Is there another alert I can use?
