New End User Agreement?

I was going to purchase a couple of songs via iTunes this morning. However, when I went to purchase I saw a new end user agreement pop up. I was running late for work and didn't have time to read it very well. But I thought I saw some language about investigating violations of DRM.
Does anyone have a take on this new agreement? Where there other things of interest?

Don't see it.

I keep getting this message when trying to open documents from the web:
    "Adobe Acrobat is blocked" -
Where to I accept the end user agreement which will enable me to access Pdf documents on the web?
The Adobe website recommends this: (did not solve the problem)
Safari 7 and 6.1 block PDFs | Acrobat, Reader
Thanks for any help solving this annoying problem!
    OSX 10.9.3
    Safari 7.0.4
    Acrobat Pro 11.0.0

    Hello Isakten:
Thanks so much for your reply!
I already have Adobe Reader 11.0.7 and Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 installed.
Following your instructions, I then selected Reader as the desired Adobe product to open all PDFs. and save that choice. Still no difference, the same black screen and statement about the EULA shows up…
    http://www.nhgastro.net/patients.html
BTW, this is the website that I was accessing……note the link to download and print the pdf which triggers the EULA page.
and also downloaded the latest version of Reader via their link….but to no success…..
This all started by itself months ago, I did no newer installs or settings changes, none……
    Any other thoughts?
    Thanks so much,
    Steve

  • I am trying to view a PDF, but a message tells me to accept the end user agreement first. I can't figure out how to do that.

How to I accept the "End User Agreement" to be able to view a pdf?

If you are in Windows (which we don't know), you can try using Windows Explorer to navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement. If you are in Mac, see here: I have installed adobe reader onto my Mac but when I open up an adobe pdf it tells me that i need to accept the end user license agreement, quite, and then open up a new browser but i have never seen the end user license agreement. What should I do in ord

thx but the only thing that happens when I open Adobe Reader is that a small icon appears in the bottom-line. There is no dialogue box where I can accept!

i get a reader message Before viewing PDF ... you must launch adobe reader and then accept the End User License Agreement. Ive searched  every part of the menu for this and cant fine it

Ok, so the Reader app works. Fine, but why did you say ",the reader won't open any more", that led us a confusing direction.
Ok, the problem is most likely caused because you downloaded Acrobat Pro, which takes over from Reader, then got rid of it. You now have part of Acrobat in Safari, not part of Adobe Reader.
There are two things to try to fix this. The first and easiest is to download and install Adobe Reader again. That should puts its stuff back in Safari with a bit of luck.
Important note for others following this thread. Downloading Adobe Reader is not going to help you if you have not understood and followed the instructions to "launch" Adobe Reader (or Adobe Acrobat). Make sure you understand what "launch" means before downloading anything again.

  • Error: I cannot view any PDF files without launching Reader and accepting end User agreement.  I have already downloaded Reader.

I am getting an error message when I go to open a PDF file on my MAC that says "Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the end user agreement.  I have already downloaded Reader many times and followed all of the troubleshooting options.  I have matched up my software, which is the latest version and checked to make sure my internet security is enabling java script.  I don't know what to do.  Please help.

Chrome uses it's own pdf viewer. That's why you don't get the message.
If you are still having the problem on a Mac try:
Make sure your files are not hidden : http://osxdaily.com/2009/02/25/show-hidden-files-in-os-x/
Quit Safari and Adobe Reader if running.
    Go to HD/<Users>/<user name>/Library/Preferences/ delete com.adobe.Reader.plist
    Launch Adobe Reader from /Applications/
You should be prompted to accept EULA.
If on a Windows machine, do what Bernd described above. Launch Adobe Reader on it's own, not by double clicking a pdf or a link in a browser.

  • End-User Agreement before opening a pdf file

Hi, is it possible to have an end-user agreement type thing come up when a user opens a pdf file which will only open the document if they accept the agreement? How would i do that?

You can fake it, either using JavaScript and a dialog box or script-controlled layers on the first page of the PDF; but neither method is even remotely-secure, and won't work if the user has scripting disabled or is viewing in a non-Adobe tool or a mobile device.

  • HT3743 Apple end-user agreement and jailbreaking

Hi, im not planning on jailbreaking but just wanted to understand where in the end user agreement does it state that jailbreaking voids the warranty?
    Thank you

Not sure what country you are in or which device you have, but it is pretty much the same across the board. From the USA iPhone 5 warranty:
    http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/products/iphone-english.html
This Warranty does not apply: (a) to consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports; (c) to damage caused by use with another product; (d) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external cause; (e) to damage caused by operating the Apple Product outside Apple’s published guidelines; (f) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider (“AASP”); (g) to an Apple Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Apple; (h) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Apple Product, or if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Apple Product.

have tried to find end user agreement but failed ...HELP pls

There should be a button that says "Accept" or "Agree" or something like that in the window?

    Hi Frank,
Do you get the message when you try to open a PDF via a web browser? If so, you need to open Adobe Reader (install it if you don't have it), and accept the end-user license agreement when it opens.

  • Every time I try to open a pdf file it says i need to accept the end user agreement

Every time I try to open a pdf file it says I must accept the End User Agreement, so I just try to install it again and it pops up an error.

Does it just say you have to accept the license agreement, or does it say you have to LAUNCH something (Adobe Reader, or Adobe Acrobat)? If it says this, have you done what it says? Or would you like assistance in how to launch stuff in Mac OS or Windows?

    Hi urusha,
Are you getting an error about the end-user license agreement when you try to view a PDF file in a web browser? If so, please see this thread: Re: Reader X problem - Accept End User License Agreement
If that's not the issue you're experiencing, please let us know and provide some details about the issue (if you're getting an error, what operating system you're using, what version of Acrobat or Reader) so we can find an answer for you.
