New error message in mail--what is going on?

Yesterday the triangle with ! started appearing on one of my sent mailboxes (the main me.com one). This is the message:
"The Sent mailbox could not be created on the mail server. The local “Sent Messages (XXXXXXX)” mailbox was created instead.
Mail has changed your account’s Mailbox Behaviors preferences to use the local “Sent Messages (XXXXXXX)” mailbox."
I don't see any new mailbox created. I am still having problems sending from certain mail accounts. What has changed with macmail that all these things are happening lately? thanks for any help with understanding this.

Control-click on your MobileMe Inbox and choose Get Account Info -- does that show the Sent folder on the server?
What exact version of OSX are you using, btw?

There are a number of threads about this - it looks like Apple recently updated their address validation. Some people have recorded success by :
ensuring that their iTunes account address is exactly the same as appears on their credit card bill
putting something in the second line of the address (including just copying the first line)

putting apartment or suite number on the second address line

Hello, I get that error message "iTunes error 13005". I have my itunes database on an ext HD, I completed an update yesterday from Apple and my itunes wont open on my computer, giving me the above error message. I have read the resolutions offerred in the thread but I not been successfull in solving the problem. I have deleted the Genius and extras files, rebooted the computer and still the same message. I dont think it is anything to do with the iTunes update as it had the same effect on another computer here that had been update. I think it is something to do with the Ext HD and possibly the extreme WiFi router and it's firmwire update.

Hi, thank you for your help, i just realize another problem.
why does my Question number increment to 3, it should remain as 2 when i request for user input again. i try many ways by altering the for loop, when i insert the try & catch block in a while(!invalid), it just loop forever and crash. How can i solve this ?

Can't update Apps, now getting new error message

It's been weeks since I've been able to update my Apps on either my iPod touch, or from iTunes. In iTunes previously, it would say that there were updates available, but then when I clicked on Update it would tell me that there were no updates available, now I'm getting a new error message that says "You can not update this software since you have not owned the major version of this software." WHAT???? These are mostly free apps, and the others I paid for. I'm so tired of this. And on my iPod touch I get "Can not connect to the iTunes store," even though I can make purchases, download podcasts, etc. Any ideas. Thanks so much.

it's strange because not all update have this issue. I can update some free and paid apps ( over 10 update was succeful) and few (4-5)others have this problem and cannot be updated. Itunes didnt been updated since beginning of this issue.
For the free one who cannot be updated, i just deleted already owned in itunes and re-downloaded updated version again without any problem.But for my paid apps, i will need to wait That apple fix it.
I googled and i see this problem already happen in 2007 or 2008 but i just found problem report, no solution. I will try to spend couple minute to find out on google and try to call apple or contact apple expert on the web there tomorrow: http://www.apple.com/support/expert/ and come back to tell what they said. Some other things to try:
It sounds like this has nothing to do with your code module and everything to do with TestStand communicating with the Citadel Database. Have you tried running a sequence with just one step (maybe a pop up) and turning database logging on and see if you get the same error?

That installer error is a "Can't open file" error
It suggest that you may have a corrupt file.
Try running a disk check

If it fixes errors try uninstalling iTunes again.
If that doesn't work, is it possible for find out the name of the problem file, is further information available? Try looking in your Action center - that's on the control panel. If nothing emerges, try a manual uninstall of iTunes and related programs according to this method:

Don't worry if an uninstall fails, that is expected. Go on to the part where you have to delete files (2. Verify iTunes etc completely deleted) . Hopefully you manage to find a file that can't be deleted, that is the one we will need to deal with.
