I don't have any firsthand experiences with those cameras, but just wanted to say CONGRATS! What a win!
To help you pick, though, it might help us to know what kind of stuff you shoot and what types of features are your priorities in a camera? (e.g. run-and-gun vs tripod-ed and carefully blocked out; lens choices, audio on-board vs not; low-light/night)

There's a new SW update available for Nokia C2-02 and Nokiw C2-03: version 7.63. These device models are also sold as C2-06/C2-07/C2-08 on certain regions. Thank you for posting and welcome to Nokia Support Discussions!
Try to reinstall the software of your Nokia C2-02. Using Nokia Suite click on Tools > Software update > Reinstall.
If in case you can't reinstall the software, try doing a master reset. Go to Menu > Settings > Restore factory settings > Restore All.
Note: Create a backup first before doing any kind of reset to avoid deletion of data. If prompted for a lock code, enter 12345 unless you changed it.

I have a hard time understanding why I can't contact support about THEIR problem. I plugged my iPhone into my pc. iTunes came up. It said there was an update available for the phone. I accepted that. Clicked on the "download only" because I didn't have the time to install it at that point. It downloaded but didn't stop. It continued to the 'backing up your iPhone' segment then froze. I waited at least an hour with no change. Finally I unplugged my phone..iTunes wasn't responding.I rebooted my pc then tried the same thing again. Same outcome even though I let it "Back Up" for 7-8 hrs while I slept. Same Story............... iTunes 10.4.0.80 is the software I'm using. When my phone is 'plugged' in what I see on it's face is "Sync in Progress".....for hours!

Factory Update resumed for the EOS-1D C Cinema EOS Camera

Firmware Version 1.3.5 fixes a phenomenon in which the line-level audio input function of some EOS-1D C cameras does not operate as expected with Firmware Version 1.3.4. Please read our announcement to learn more about the Factory Update.

I just hope Canon remembers there are users of the product worldwide and not just Costa Rica and the USA....
Everyone should have their relevant update released at the same time and never mind contact your local support for further advice...! it should apply across the board

@eldaradian Mhm. Firmware version 07.66 should be available for your firmware variant 059H0R7 via the Nokia Suite and the Software Recovery Tool on a Windows computer. You are about the phone internal software update, aren’t you? In that case:
Which firmware version do you have at the moment?
Which network operator do you use, in which country?

The update is currently temporarily available on via FOTA (and not via Nokia Suite). There was a small problem with automatic user data restore with Nokia Suite after the update, which is currently being investigating. If you already updated your device with Nokia Suite, you might have to trigger the userdata restore manually from "tools->restore".

If you are located in Sri Lanka, your Nokia Care might refuse to change the product code. You have to double check with them and hope the best. Although, in a situation like yours, I would not waste much time and do it myself.
That's something great to hear from you. I have been kind of a techy guy for a long time and I am a fast learner. So I believe that I will be able to execute the change of region task, if a set of instructions are there to follow. Can you provide me with a source that teaches how to change the region of a mobile phone?
Regarding the suggestions to Nokia, I then don't think that they would want to hear views from their customers and they might well want to go on their own way (probably why Samsung overtook them in mobile industry). I do not know and this is actually my 2nd Nokia phone in my life (had a short stint with Nokia 2600 Classic, a long time ago).
For an example, the Sony Ericsson Cedar (and their other basic phones) had the feature to set specific "Message tones" to specific contacts, instead of setting a general message tone for every contact. But Nokia does not provide such a feature. Probably, they think that such features are not relevant, but still many of their customers around the world would have loved to have such kinds of small small features.This feature was very vital for me during the days I was using SE Cedar and I am missing that feature a lot from Nokia 208.
The other major issue is that, Nokia does not allow minimizing of Java applications. For example, When I had SE Cedar, I used to browse internet using Opera Mini while I text with someone for a longer time. I mean, until the other party sends a reply, I browse the internet and once the reply arrives, I minimize it and continue texting and then get back to surfing internet again after sending the reply. But with Nokia, I have got to close the application to read the text message and that's been really annoying.
I tried to break the Nokia Security Wall with some sort of tutorial based on internet related to S40 firmwares, but it did not work.
Any help regarding the issues mentioned above, would be highly appreciated.

A new SW update for Asha 311 is currently being rolled out: version 5.92. Some of the consumers are already able to get the update, the rest should follow soon. The update is currently also only available via Nokia Suite, and not via FOTA yet. I will be posting an update here when there is further development on this topic.

Hey armagon, i have updated my asha 311 to 5.92 but there is still no copy-paste option, why?
I also noticed that the cancel button below Select Internet Connection popup doesn't work, it never clicks. I have attached screenshots of the phone so that you could see what i mean.

if you update the device with Nokia Suite or take it to a Care service point for reflashing, the Social app is removed and directly replaced with new standalone Facebook & Twitter clients.
Even if you update the device via FOTA (in which case Social app stays on the phone), I would still strongly recommend downloading the standalone Facebook & Twitter clients from Nokia Store as those provide a better user experience.

No firmware update available for the n97?? uk!

Howdy, so i plugged the phone in today to give it the firmware update from 10 to 11 but nokia updater told me a new version wasnt available.

All you can do is be patient and wait. I'm also waiting for it.
Recently nokia UK has been up to two months behind for firmware updates.

ITunes showing updates available for the account of a visitor

All my apps are up to date. Some time ago a visitor signed into iTunes on my iMac, bought some tracks and apps etc, then signed out. iTunes keeps showing the updates for those apps even though the visitor is long gone. How do I erase the update notification? I don't have their account name or password. Thanks in advance.

My N9 just notified me (Finnish version) that a major update was available along with several application updates.
If your doesn't notify you go into the manage applications menu and check for update from there.

Looks good, I'm waiting for the update on my Norwegian operator branded phone. Usually the operators in Norway is pretty quick in approving after recieving it. Hopefull we are talking days at most
