New Feature in Maps!

I'm not sure if this is a new feature but I found an easy way to zoom out in maps. If you double tap the screen with one finger it zooms in, but I just found that if you tap the screen with two fingers it zooms out. It is alot faster than pinching. I'm not sure if everyone knew about this so I thought I would share it with you guys.

Thanks for bringing it to the attention of a wider audience. It IS in the manual, but who reads manuals?

  • New Features and Improvements for CS6

    IMPORTANT:
By default, Photoshop comes with the Proofing Colors (Cmd/Ctrl+Y) activated and set to CMYK. Adobe must warn about that, because I was editing a large amount of pictures for work and I was doing it under that color profile/work space.
    LAYERS PANEL:
    Layer Adjustments:
Solid Color: visual feedback in real time.
    Gradient: IDEM as above.
    Pattern: IDEM as above.
    Gradient Map: IDEM as above.
    Gradient Editor: IDEM as above.
Opacity and Fill: IDEM as above.
Curves and Levels: Ability to load alfa channels. This way, the adjustments made on the alfa channel won't be destructive.
    CHANNELS PANEL:
    Channel Luminosity Selection:
Ability to add and subtract from the selection.
Ability to designate an area to be selected.
For point 1, by using the shortcut Cmd+Alt+[number] the luminosity of a channel is loaded as selection. With Cmd+Alt+Shift+[number], the selection grows. But there is no way to subtract from selection (unless by clicking with the mouse on the channel's thumbnail). I think that can be solved by using Cmd+Alt+Shift+[- or +] in order to subtract or add from selection.
Point 2 maybe even more important than point 1, because it allows selecting a designated area by the user, instead of the default luminosity selection, which ranges from 50% of the mid tones to the highlights (or shadows, if the selection is inverted). The user should be allowed to select the starting and finishing points of the luminosity selection.
I thought 2 ways for solving these issues (and making it more intuitive and faster):
    A) By using the Histogram Panel, by dragging and highlighting an area on it, that it should load the selected luminosity pixels as a selection, as shown in figure 1:
      figure 1
So the result of doing that will be a selection based on the area of the histogram that have been highlighted.
    B) By creating a new Adjustment Layer:
It can be based in the same structure of the HUE Adjustment Layer, like figure 2 shows:
    Figure 2
Or it can be this way (much better). Figure 3:
    Figure 3
The selection can also be controlled by using the Click and Drag as suggested in the figure 1, as shown in the figure 4:
    Figure 4
The overlaid highlighting over the histogram can be functional or just a mere graphic representation of the Range and Fade Selector. The "Fading" areas should be also be draggable in order to increase smooth the selection. However, the smoothing can be much better done with the Refining Selection tool and it can be ignored from this new tool.
In any of these cases, the adjustments should give real time feedback when growing or shrinking selection; we must see the selection going bigger or smaller and also, the highlighted area should be draggable as well.
    TOOLS PANEL:
Brush: detect edges while painting on masks (for manual mask refining. It would work similar to the Replace Color Brush, but only for masks and alfa channels). It also needs a shortcut to set the opacity.
Dodge & Burn: Protect Tones should be allowed when painting on masks or alfa channels (for manual mask refining). D&B can also use edge detection as well.
    FILTERS:
Some of them, like the ones involving Blur or the High-Pass and the Unsharp Mask filter, should work in real time (these ones, at the least).
It can also added a Particle Generator Filter.
It would be really nice having the ability to create particles such as dust, fog, rain, snow, etc in a more realistic manner than just the scattering function from the Brush Palette, or by mixing different filters with different blends. The Particle Generator should have an slider to control the depth of field, so it will give a feeling of depth and also, a way to load masks, so that way, the particles can exists before the image and also, behind. It would be great for creating a nice feeling of depth (kind of a bokeh effect).
I've been playing with After Effect few times, and the way to create shapes and forms from nothing is the way of easier than in Photoshop.
    TIME LINE:
I think it's time give dynamism the filters applied to a movie clip, and also, dynamics to the fade effects, like it happens in After Effects by adding Bezier Curves.
    HISTOGRAM:
It should be possible to zoom in into the histogram, for a more precise feedback and analysis of the image tonal values.
    ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
The fade tool should work in real time.
    Loupe/Magnificator View:
This is very useful when it comes to edit and image in detail, with a lot of zoom, like 3200%. Unfortunately, Photoshop doesn't provide a real time feedback in an additional window, such as the Window/Arrange/New Window For […].
It would be really useful having a window showing the image at fit on the screen while working on the other window at 100% or 3200% of zoom, but in real time. This way, you can see if you're doing a good job on the pixels or, if you're overdoing it.
It happens that, when working with big images at 100% of the image size (or more), the brain cannot figure out how is looking the whole image, so having a realtime feedback in the other window would help a lot for detailled work.
And why not, ading the same real time structure descrived above but to the Navigator, for faster and lighter use of the hardware capabilities. Probably, adding a check box to the navigator that blocks it to a given zoom, so when zooming into the image in the navigator, the image shown in the window isn't magnified too.
Give me a chance to show you some examples of what I have done by improvising particles and fog about 5 years ago:
    http://mart1980.deviantart.com/gallery/5027033#/d1m119x
And what I did 7 years ago by manually, selecting different shades of gray and using just Levels for 8 hours (which coule be done faster and easier with another tool I thought, which I will post later):
I cannot post examples of the other features I'm suggesting because there are not such new features yet (I would have to create an hipothetical enviroment, but I think, you can fiure it out in your mind).
Unfortunately, I don't know programing, even though, I tried something with Filter Factory, achieving good results, but that pluging consumes too much resources and/or is bad designed/have not the right tools for certain things.
Hope this post is enough worthy of the Adobe's attention.
    Thanks,
    س

This is a poorly explained reason about why is so important having a loupe in Photoshop. I've not also, used the best example, but I will. This belongs to the ADDITIONAL FEATURES: Loupe/Magnificator View:. Also, I will try to make my english clrearer, but here it goes:

The cam is very poor on the 3g phone it,s more like an afterthought.

and where is the software reset for clearing the memory or is that an afterthought too.
PS not picking holes it's a fact.

  • New Features for OWB 9.2

Mark Van De Wiel mentioned yesterday in this forum that OWB 9.2 is now available at http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/warehouse/content.html . From the version number it would appear that this is a major new release, and it's a separate install rather than a patch on OWB9.0.4.
    Would Mark, Igor or Shauna be able to give us some background on the new features in this new release? From quickly looking at the release notes they would appear to be;
    - Correlated Commit (committing changes across all targets uniformly)
    - Ability to create public database links
    - Direct PEL (removes the need for temporary tables when exchanging partitions)
    - Enhanced Flat File Support
    - Mapping Debugger
    - Incorporation of ETL functionality previously found in standalone Pure*Integrate
    - Metadata change management using the OWB GUI rather than using OMB*Plus
    - Multiple Name and Address Software Providers
    - Name/Address Wizard
    - New Public API for OWB
    - Better support for Real Application Clusters
    - Advanced Repository Security and Audit options
    - Support for MITI metadata bridges to third-party products
It would be good to know the thinking behind these and what areas they think will be particularly of interest to us. Also, has anything been removed or changed that we've got used to using?
Also, any day now (fingers crossed) the patch to make the OLAP functionality in OWB9.0.4 work (the 9i 9.2.0.3.x patch?) should be out - will this work with OWB9.2 as well?
    Many thanks

    Hi Mark,
While I'm not in your list of people to respond I figure I give it a go anyways :-)
The list of features you mentioned is a nice summary. One of the main release themes is data quality as you noticed. Apart from changes to the name&address functionality we also added the advanced matching and merging into this release. So you can use custom rules to match and merge data. This also allows you to do things like householding for customer data records. In essence we have now completed the integration of Pure*Integrate into Warehouse Builder.
The mapping debugger is another big thing. This allow you to walk through your mappings and see in detail what happes to the data.
The metadata change management is now in the UI. THis means there is now object level version management in Warehouse Builder via the UI. You can also compare versions and get a difference report.
As you mentioned there are a number of smaller and bigger features next to this. The idea for this release is to make OWB a top Data Quality product and allow you to do your ETL and DQ in one tool. Apart from that we have added usability features (debugger, N&A wizard) and we have added some features to solve specific problems.
Especially the corelated commit is interesting in that respect. You can now, in a map with multiple targets control the commit, and choose to either commit all targets or none, or commit them individually (current behavior).
As usual there is a lot more, as this is indeed a major release. Keep an eye on OTN for more collateral regarding the new features. We are currently updating the site to reflect the new stuff.
On the OLAP patch, both 9.0.4 and 9.2 will work equally well with the OLAP patch (when it is available). In 9.2 we added some small thing around composites. More about that when there is an OLAP patch to test this one on in a customer site.
I hope this answered the question, if not let me know.

  • New features for uc320

    Dear Cisco-Team,
There are already some threads open regarding the implementation of new features. Some of them are maybe not more actual, so I open a new discussion to have hopefully answers on the following feature requests:
PPTP-Implementation: It's still not possible to get PPTP running with the UC320. (Teleworker)
Remote-Phones: It's still not possible to connect SPA phones remotely to UC320
Dial-Plan: With the new firmware 2.3.2 (6) there was one great improvement: "Return Call without Edit Dial". But it doesn't work for Austria.
"Enhanced Caller ID Directory Mapping" - also new in version 2.3.2 - but doesn't work.
soft-phone: annouced many times and since years. promised by Cisco. Still not implemented.
I hope that someone from Cisco can give me a qualified answer incl. a timeline!!!
    Greeting from Austria.
    Matthias

This is not very reassuring as to the future, and Cisco's commitment, to this platform, as these features (teleworker, softphone, wireless portable phone, etc.) have previously been touted as "on the roadmap". Being "on the roadmap" and being "re-evaluated" are different objectives.
It appears that the UC320 is just a repackaging of the SPA-9000 + the SPA-400 without the ability to use the SPA9xx phones. What a disapointment and missed opportunity for Cisco.
"The teleworker and softphone features mentioned in the posting above are  been re-evaluated by the team. There is no commitment yet on these  features."

  • Work Manager 6.1 and SMP 3.0 with Agentry new features

    Hi,
I know that Work Manager 6.1 is expected to be released by the end of June but I can't find any information about the product.
Since I'm starting a new project initially thought for Work Manager 6.0 but running in SMP 3.0, I would like to know the list of new features of 6.1 version.
At the same time I would like to know if the use of SMP 3.0 brings to the Agentry applications improvements regarding error handling, logging and administration in general since that was a bit poor in the previous versions.
The only thing I found regarding 6.1 version is this PDF where new functionalities regarding localization of assets in a map are added. I hope there is more than that.
    Thank you for your help.

I guess the following thread answers my questions (except regarding SMP 3.0 logging, administrating and error handling with Agentry): http://scn.sap.com/message/15086739

  • The 100 new features in the 3.0 update?

Does anyone know what they were? I have the spotlight search, the landscape option for texting, the voice recorder but other than that, what is there? I don't have 100 new features like it said. I don't even have the videocamera. The one thing I wanted.

  • IBP 4.0 FP1 Patch 2 - Need more info on new features in Supply Planning

    Hi All,
I was reading the SAP help and some of the new features are not very clear to me, if you have clarity around it please read and help me to get more clarity.
As per SAP Help,The following features are now available in IBP for supply:
Separate lead time units of measure can be defined for use in multiple planning areas depending on different time granularities.
My Query - Where do we define it? I do not see any additional attribute in the MDT where lead time is present but don't see any attribute to define lead time units or any other different settings in the planning area so how can we define this?
Static periods of supply are taken into account as input for the inventory target, with projected periods of coverage provided as output.
My Query - What exactly has changed and which are the new key figures here to support this? I could not understand this from reading the above text.
Independent demand is taken into account as input at the product location, in addition to the distribution demand from other nodes and customer demand.
The optimizer algorithm supports the Non-Delivery Cost Rate key figure as input for the independent demand at the product location.
My Query - A new key figure "INDEPENDENTDEMAND" is available now @PERPRODLOC so first point is very clear but second point is very confusing to me as "Non delivery cost rate" is only defined @PERPRODCUST so how we will define the non delivery cost rate for independent demand which is at different planning level and if we are not able to define it how optimizer algorithm will support it? Ideally it needs to be at same level like consensus demand and Non delivery cost rate both @PERPRODCUST Level.
    Thanks

  • What are your favorite apps/new features you like after the 2.0 upgrade?

I discovered one feature by mistake, after finally getting my iPhone going again! I pressed the top button and home button at the same time once and saw a white flash on the screen! It turns out it works like a print screen button!! Very cool! Whatever you see on your iPhone, you can save directly to your photos, just press those two buttons simultaneously once until it flashes! If you guys already knew about this, I apologize. Please post any other favorite new features or apps here!! Thanks.

Well the update worked fine for me and one thing I love is that I can access the app store using the Edge network & not just via wi-fi. but if i can access the app store over the edge network then why not allow users to access the itunes store over the edge network as well? either way i'm happy. also, i liked the fact that when i tested the "locate me" feature in maps that the iphone prompted me for permission. that's a great security feature so that other ppl can't try to access your phone remotely or something and try to determine your location w/o your permission.

  • NEW Kin TwoM Pricing / New Feature Phones

So, I've been checking the site compulsively for about the last two months...let me know if you think my logic on this is sound:
This week I noticed that the Kin OneM pricing went from 19.99 to FREE- it doesn't seem to be a promotional price either because it's listed as an "Online Discount" the exact same way the Crux and Cosmos are.
This leads me to believe two things:
    1) Possibly the best news- with so many of the feature phones moving to FREE pricing, it's not a huge assumption that new feature phone devices may soon be on the way.  (Please, please, please offer some compelling phones Verizon...)
    2) The Kin TwoM will soon see a price decrease as well- probably to the 19.99 range making it almost impossible to pass up.
If number 1 turns out to be true, I'll be waiting a bit to see what comes out before I pull the trigger on the Kin TwoM.
There's been recent news that Verizon will be releasing devices "later this year" (whatever that means) with the Brew OS and Opera Mini preloaded- this probably means they've got some decent feature phones coming.  I'm making that assumption based on the fact that the HTC Freestyle on AT&T has been pretty much regarded as the first device to be released like this...I'm thinking Verizon will want to compete with them at least at the beginning of a new standard of feature phones.
But, if it turns out that they again bring a line-up that only gets the teens excited, count me in for the Kin TwoM.
I'd prefer not to have to walk around the office with the same phone my boss's 15 year old daughter has...now there's an interesting water cooler chat:
"Bergman, nice phone...my tween daughter loves that thing..."

Somehow i feel the Kin phones won't be for sale for much longer. For those that need a basic phone with touch interface, there's other options which have a clearer interface. Including the Costco special Samsung SCH-u370. It's a Samsung u820/Reality that doesn't require data. No free wi-fi, but overall it's a much better phone. More ... finished, than the Kin phones. The Kins to me feels like a Windows Phone beta in comparison.
I do love how the tiles are laid out on the home screen better on the Kins than WP7 phones, there's no empty space above or to the right. And i love the favorites contacts screen of the Kins. WP7 phones though feels much sleeker and better zune like controls. And since you can load apps on WP7 your browser won't be outdated.
For current feature phones, i think the u370 is a top choice on Verizon. Good build quality, clear user interface, nice fonts and sizes, a useful sketch app, and the ability to doodle/notate on your pictures. Excellent value. Kin Onem, i can't reccomend. The phone dial numbers are too small on screen to be usable. Thicker than other feature phones, but because of the form factor, the side buttons are almost useless in one handed use. Kin Twom is much better in these aspects than the Onem. But certain interface font sizes are still too small.
The web browser (IE 6 Mobile) is not bad. Mobile and minimal pages loads quick on wifi. Although the back button is not easy to get to, and i haven't figured out if you can go forward in history. The url/title bar seems unfinished, i wish it would have swapped to the title after entering the url, thus saving space. The tiled bookmarks is a good idea, but page titles doesn't fit on the tiles. Even though the hardware is Tegra1, the Kin doesn't come with Flash lite. So alot of flash interactive buttons and streaming doesn't work. Infact simple mp3 playback and playlists doesn't stream in the browser. Which is sad.
One saving grace for the browser that i have found is Bing. Yep. http://m.bing.com/ Of course on first load it will be in landscape mode. And it only list the top 3 items of the menu, without being able to expand it. But go into portrait mode, and you should see the complete menu. Almost every web app on this menu worked well. My favorite is the directions. It almost makes up for not having google maps. Almost.
The strong points of the Twom is of course the browser + wifi, and zune. Which is like a zune hd lite. The FM radio made up for the lack of web streaming. I'm rediscovering FM thanks to it. And the zune desktop software is very modern and sleek. It made itunes look like it's made for accountants. Personally i love the Twom even though it has its quirks. The ui is unique, not quite WP7, and not like anything else. No branding as well. With FM radio i have wireless music anywhere, for free.
Here are some mobile sites that i found to work on Kin's IE6 Mobile:
http://m.bing.com/ --- search, local, traffic, directions (fantastic), movies, weather, favs.
http://mobile.local.com/ --- more direct/faster way to search for anything local
http://wapedia.mobi/en/ --- easier to load than mobile wikipedia
    http://en.m.wikipedia.org/
    http://m.whitepages.com/ http://www.gasbuddytogo.com/
    http://www.gasbuddytogo.com/ http://translate.google.com/m/
    http://translate.google.com/m/
There's plenty of news & social websites that have mobile modes. I've tried cnn, twitter, and youtube. And they all worked well. Youtube mobile seems to be the only way you can stream anything with the browser. I've tried other mobile video/music sites, and no go.
The phone have frozen 4 times within the last day. This happens with heavy web browsing and music playback. Overall i can't recommend the Kin phones, although go ahead and buy one while you can if you know what you're getting into. I feel that future feature phones will be more polished like the Samsung u370/u820 rather than these Kins. I just wish MS, Verizon, Danger and PCD realize that they were on to something great with these Kins despite the marketing flop. I like the TwoM despite the beta feel of the software and hardware (WP7 still looks like it's a beta product).

  • 11g book for the New feature exam 1z0-050

    Hi All
Are you using the following book from Oracle press to prepare the 11g New feature exam 1z0-050. Reviewers are only giving 2 stars out of 5.
I agree to the reviewers that the books is containing a lot of errors, but I still think it is a good book in order to prepare the exam.
Hopefully we will get a error list publish on the oracle press web site.
Please share your experience in that thread.
    thanks

Hmm understood.I will have to map the Sources Topics to the Exams Topics than just having a "served food", like an ordinary exam, its fair enough.
Its just the concepts concerned are many and many are complex, so specifially here I would require a specially fit OPC book like for SQL Expert.
Luckily I'd oredered yours at least.
See SQL Experts, I found the topics quite affordable and I advance quick about 1-2 chapters + Sumed Revision per day, and without questions or errors.
    I guess because of
    1.the OPC Book
    2. since my curent internship is on SQL Analysis
    3. my Thesis was creating an essential DBMS in C++ with embeded SQL Parser and PhP ODBC driver from Scratch
So I may try start having a look at SQL Tunning also, thus I dont think I could really achieve in paralel preparing for both and with the Internship also.
Thank you very much once again.

  • "Over 100 New Features List" ??

Ever since the release of IOS4, I have heard the term "over 100 new features" thrown around, yet I can not find an official list of these features. Does anybody know where an official list can be found with each feature number listed out? I feel like it is just a hype term they have used, but it isn't documented anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

^ that one is very good.

  • Enhancement and new features available in AFS 6.0 in reference to AFS 5.0?

    Hi Experts,
Please can you explain what are the Enhancement and new features available in AFS 6.0 in reference to AFS 5.0

    Hi Mithun,
Following are the details you needed.
Enhancement and new features available in AFS 6.0 wrt AFS 5.0
    AFS Interface
AFS GTS Master Data Integration - IS-AFS-INT-GTS (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can integrate the SAP Global Trade Services 7.1 (SAP GTS 7.1) master data to the AFS data.
    AFS Retail Integration (Change)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, the integration of Apparel and Footwear Solution (AFS) with Retail has been
    Enhanced by the following functions:
u2022     One SAP Retail Logical system is mapped to multiple Customers in SAP AFS system, which ensures that each Customer can be mapped to a different purchase organization.
u2022     You can maintain the retail merchandise category in the AFS material master for each retail logical system.
u2022     The variant numbers created in the retail for the article (material in AFS) have the number with the category and grid combination. A new BADI method is used to allow the user to change the variant numbering as required.
u2022     The material type of the generic article created is the same as the AFS material. A new BADI method is used to set the material type of the article as required.
    Quality Management (IS-AFS-QM)
Enabling QM for Goods Receipt (GR) Process for AFS (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can activate the inspection type at material level and control the inspection lot creation at stock keeping unit (SKU) level during the goods receipt process.
Additionally, during posting of quality inspection stocks, you can directly post stock of one SKU to unrestricted stock of another SKU.
    Basic Data (IS-AFS-BD)
Commodity Codes at the SKU Level (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can maintain commodity codes at the SKU level in the material master. A new relevancy Global Trade Services (GTS) is allotted to the characteristics attached to the grid and categories. If this new relevancy is set then the commodity codes can be assigned at the SKU level. You can also assign commodity codes of different countries other than the country in which the plant is located.
The AFS material master IDoc and BAPI have been enhanced to handle commodity codes at the SKU level.
    Material Master Enhancements (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, the following enhancements have been made in the material master:
u2022     You can maintain commodity codes at the stock keeping unit (SKU) level.
u2022     You can maintain the retail data merchandise category and characteristic profile at the material master level. This is used to create article in retail.
u2022     You can maintain quality management (QM) inspection type at SKU level.
u2022     You can enable Seasons for inventory management (IM).
    Materials Management (IS-AFS-MM)
    Seasonality Roundoff - Inventory Management-(New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, season functionality is extended to Inventory Management (IM). This enables you to gain an overview of material movements during each season. You can maintain stocks for different seasons separately. To enable this functionality, you have to activate the Season Active in IM indicator for a material in the material master. This indicator can be set only for materials created in AFS 6.0. If the season is maintained for an SKU in the material master, you can obtain season information for the SKUs in batches, in material movement documents and in stock tables.
Also, as of AFS 6.0, you cannot set the Season Fixed indicator for new materials. However, for old materials (materials created in AFS 5.0 with Season Fixed indicator) the behavior remains the same.
Stock Selection Available in Transaction MIGO (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, the goods movement transaction MIGO has been enhanced with Stock Selection for AFS materials. Goods movement here implies only goods issued/transfer postings without document reference.
Consumption of PIRs by TPO, MTO and PTO (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, the Consume PIR Customizing indicator at sales and distribution (SD) item category level enables special orders like TPO (third-party order), MTO (make-to order) and PTO (purchase-to order) to consume normal planned independent requirements (PIRs).
    IS-AFS-MM-PUR Purchasing
    Purchasing BAPIs (Change)
The interface of the purchase order (PO) BAPIs mentioned below have been enhanced with optional parameters to handle the AFS data.
    Purchase order BAPIs

There is no change in the IDOC type /AFS/ORDERS05 which is presently used to create/change sales orders. Accordingly, you must use inbound process code ORDE for message type ORDERS and inbound process code ORDC for message type ORDCHG.
Supporting the Change of Single Characteristic (New)

As of SAP AFS 6.0, season functionality is available in the allocation run (ARun) to ensure the season information is considered while creating assignments, and to cause deallocation as per the settings in the deallocation rule on change in season information in the future receipts, sales order or while performing goods receipt (GR). This functionality is available only with online ARun.
BAPI for Individual Allocation and/or Deallocation
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can use the BAPI /AFS/BAPI_INDIVIDUAL_ARUN to handle allocation/deallocation of specified sales order quantities for single or multiple orders. This enables you to make:
    u2022     New allocations
u2022     Allocations from a particular storage location/batch number
u2022     Allocations for a quantity less than equal to the requirement quantity
u2022     Deallocations for a quantity less than equal to the requirement quantity
    u2022     A total deallocation
    Hope it helps.

  • N82, new firmware v30, Maps 2.0, SIP, Thailand

I tried the new version of Maps before, but the Thai maps are good for navigation in Bangkok only, opposed to Maps 1.2, which works all over the country. Is anyone out there who successfully used the new firmware with Maps 2.0 here in Thailand? And while we are at it, is the SIP-Client well-behaved? These two applications are the reason why I bought the N82 and I really don't want to loose these features...

    Kamrul,
Don't be so furious. Let me explain you something. The first countries to receive the updates are the europeans ones. Then Nokia modifies the same firmware for the APAC regions. They have to introduce  the language packs in it and make some changes to make it suit the APAC. There are even software which some countries get and some not.
That's why there are product codes. We can have several nokia phones of the same model but they differ in firmware. This has always been like this.
Be a bit patient it will soon arrive in your region. Nokia is working on it.
