New features list or roadmap for improvements?

Hi
Just wondering if there is a list of enhancements that are currently in development or proposed?
This might eliminate some of the duplicate requests for new features if people can see what's coming.
Thanks

Hi;
Unfortunately this isn't something that we publish.  There used to be a method to submit "feature requests" (the Ideas page) but that was a feature of the forums in general and not specific to the FormsCentral forum and was removed.  For FormsCentral we are still investigating a way to replace that so that customers can submit their requests.
Thanks,
Josh

  • After downloading 4.0 on my Windows XP Firefox continues to work as before but none of the new features is available except for tabs on top. Where are the new features?

Mozilla Firefox Installation Started: 2011-05-01 17:51:37
    Installation Details
    Install Dir: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    Locale : en-US
    App Version: 4.0.1
    GRE Version: 2.0.1
    OS Name : Windows XP
    Target CPU : x86
    ==========================================
The next time I started Firefox, the tabs were at the top but none of the other advertised new features for 4.0 have ever appeared, such as the Firefox button, ability to group tabs, etc. I even downloaded 4.0 two times, with the same result both times. I would really like to be able to use the new features. Thank you for your help.

    See [[What are Tab Groups?]]
    Other things you can do:<br><br>
    * Right click a blank part of the tab bar and click "Tabs on top" to remove the checkmark. Tabs will subsequently reappear below the search bar.<br><br>
    * Repeat the same steps, but click the top one called "Menu bar". This will reinstate the text links at the top. If you already have these, reverse the procedure to get the orange Firefox button<br><br>
    * To rearrange the layout, repeat the same steps again and choose "Customize". A panel will open and while that remains onscreen, you can move elements like toolbars, buttons etc around and place them anywhere you wish. You can also drag anything you don't like into that panel and add anything you want by dragging it out of there.<br><br>

  • "Over 100 New Features List" ??

Ever since the release of IOS4, I have heard the term "over 100 new features" thrown around, yet I can not find an official list of these features. Does anybody know where an official list can be found with each feature number listed out? I feel like it is just a hype term they have used, but it isn't documented anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • New Features List

I just updated to RoboHelp 7.02.001 (through the Adobe
Updater) and got a pleasant surprise. When I attempt to set
multiple conditional tags on TOC items, it allows me to place them
    on the topics now.
This is great, before I had to place the tag on the TOC, then
on the specific topics. This is obviously new in this version,
which leads me to ask, does Adobe have a list of all the new
features that it adds/remove/changes when you do an update?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

There's usually a ReadMe file. Certainly was for the last two
patches. You can find them within Program Files and I have listed
them on my site under Using RH7.

  • ColdFusion 10 new feature list?

Is there a list somewhere of all the new features in this ColdFusion 10 beta?
    Thanks,
    Ron

Charlie, no I was actually talking about the link on that page Adobe ColdFusion 10 CFML Reference which I assume is because it is not a final product. So when you go into CFB 2.01 and select help it has only CF9 information, and if you select the stupid air version it too only pulls up ColdFusion 9 information.
As you can tell by the image attached, I prefer to use the Eclipse help rather than switch out of the application so that I can see the documentation and code at the same time, something Adobe doesn't think is serious enough to maintain for some reason, and prefers to use the stupid Air version.
Either way I was looking for some more docs on what tags / functions are new, so I can read up on them and to date have found nothing public.

  • The new features avilable in webdynpro for abap with EHP5

    Hi,
Currently our ECC 6.0 is upgraded with EHP5 from EHP3.
Could anyboy tell me the new featues available in webdynpro for abap for this EHP5. If i develop WDA objects in  EHP3 environment and transport it to new system with EHP5 . What would be the problems i encounter. kindly suggest me..
    thanks,
    Raghu

I would expect in any case that there is no problem when you transport WDA build from ehp3 to ehp5 (Backward compatibility ).

  • XSQL new feature suggestion: transform="url" for xsql:query

    To the Oracle XML developers:
I'd like to suggest adding the transform="url" attribute/feature to the <xsql:query> action.
This would allow one to transform and/or apply XSLT conditional logic to the posted XML before it reaches the <xsql:query> action. A couple of key areas where I think this would be very useful are:
    1. handling multiple HTML parameters of the same name.
Currently, the only way to handle this in an <xsql:query> action is to call a Java program via <xsql:action> that can parse the rowified parameters of the same name, then transform it in a format suitable for the <xsql:query>.
    2. verifying user session login status for password protected XSQL pages.
If one could use XSLT to check user authentication BEFORE the <xsql:query> action you could display a login page if the user is not authenticated.
Since the transform="url" feature is already available for other tags (<xsql:update>, <xsql:delete>, etc) I would think adding this to the <xsql:query> action would not require extensive coding from the Oracle XML development team, and yet this simple but powerful feature could help us users to develop pure XML solutions that don't require calls to external Java actions.
    Michael

There would also be able to simply add the "perspective"as in Photoshop, probablyeasier to develop and integrate the interface.

  • New feature: Could jdeveloper editor be improved?

when using sql developer 3, I note one problem I had using jdeveloper is the fault of a good text editor
    i.e this free editor http://www.rj-texted.se/
when working with code one need a different command to change case, the posibility to select an area, etc. etc.
I'm not going to list all the features necessary when codiing, a good search and replace command (this last editor don't have), etc.
But the idea is this to improve your editor if you can please, thank you.

    Hi Shay,
This are only simple details, th problems i Jdeveloper is not ediat as easy as in a good text editor
Usually some features I use daily some times I don't use in months, but when there is a problem this is a must. Jdeveloper has a lot.
    Search Options
    1. In search option there are no options to list and/or mark lines and paint the strings having the string.
You have in find files, but not in find. And in find files you have the highlight but not in find files.
I think this could be only on find box, having a tab to search in files enabled by a check.
When I use it, when analizing all modifications to a package I can search and indicate to list them, then a new box appears indicating the line number and the content of the line. When I click in that line the cursors moves there.
i.e. I'm searching where a variable is taking a wrong value, in a long package more than 100,000 characters it is very helpful, because I can see in the list the lines and easily go to the possible places where the problem could be originated, seraching using F3 is a lot of time lost.
    space
Something I don't like of linux and some java applications is how the waste space, this is not something conscious, windows have this advantage.
I would like the nice button up at the right in the side toolbars to hide all the tabs, i.e. to hide the resource pallete. you press and it becomes a line having a button to unhide the toolbar.
A small detail if you could make separators slimmer, in the same way the toggle area a the left of the window. I know if you double click the windows take all the space but any way.
    shortcuts and position
In a editor there is a menu to format, usually upper and lower case have a shortcut assigned to it.
the option to edit in column mode, is some times very important, specially when you copy code from other places to format it fast.
the optoin to order the selected lines, this is useful some times to compare columns, search duplicates, etc. you convert each column in a line and order it.
plsql editor, maybe this don't have to be so good, because we have sql developer, but anyway I mention; once I used in jdeveloper and I was very disappointed.
What I say only maybe you can think only as a text editor and see how to improve it, to make easier the text editing tasks. Because for some operations is not so easy.
I'm not sure if I was clear.
    thanks Shay.

  • Can someone explain what the new feature "Webform Security" is for?

I notice there is a new field called "Webform Security" which inserts { module_ccsecurity ] into the form code but I have no idea what this is for and there is no reference to this module in the knowledgebase.
    Can anyone offer some details?

Log into your bank, stay logged in and open a new tab. Then visit another site on the internet.
Now lets pretend that on this other site, someone (like the site administrator or a commentor) included a link that pointed to a url such as http://www.YourBank.com/TransferMoney?FromAccount=12345&ToAccount=54321&Amount=1000 and then you clicked the link, the bank would think you were making a legitimate transfer request becuase you were still logged in.
Fair enough, but you probably wouldn't click that link because you're smarter than that.  Unfortunately your browser isn't so smart, and it doesn't have to be a link.   They could have included an image tag, or css style sheet or javascript file that pointed to that url and your browser would have automatically "clicked" the link on your behalf when it tried to download the resource.
    Thats CSRF in a nutshell.
There are ways to mitigate this danger, but its up to site owner (the bank in this example) to make sure this can't happen. As an end user it's mostly out of your hands. This tag appears to be BC's way to mitigate this, and it appears to be similar to other soultions to this problem.
I don't know if it works though, it's not docummented, so your guess is as good as mine.  Either way its probably a good idea to include it on your forms.

  • HT4559 How do I get a list of the 200 new features for iOS 5

How do I get lists of the apparent 200 new features of iOS 5 for some reason I cannot find any in support on this website or anywhere!
Also I want a description of what each feature does. Mainly in safari but I'm getting a bit suspicious if any of the features exist. We pay our money there needs to be a list of what we get.

You mean for iOS 6 that was recently announced and won't be released until this fall?
If so, iOS updates are free - you won't be paying anything for it, and the same for iOS 5.
Apple has provided some of the new features included with iOS 6, but not list of all since iOS 6 has not been released yet. Some of the features included with the current iOS 6 BETA version may be removed or changed.

  • Looking for list of new features in 11.2

I have been trying to find a list of the new features, if any, that have been released with 11.2. Would anyone have a link the new features documentation?
    thanks
    R.

The first link below is to the 11.2 new features guide. The second link below is supposedly the 11.2 new features for Oracle Text, however the only new features listed are for 11.1 and prior, so it appears that either there aren't any new Text features in 11.2 since 11.1 or they left them out.

  • New Features for Java GUI

    Hello everyone!
Can anybody tell about new features in SAP GUI for Java. I think It's emasculate now. It doesn't contain New ABAP editor, Network graphic, normal Screen Painter... I really enjoy adding themes and other stuff, but when these functionality will be added?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I use Java GUI from version 6.40, so i didn't know new ABAP editor for years. Once somebody shows me its features ...and I found that it is really good editor compared with previous Notepad-like frontend editor. But I have to say that customized version od Gvim used as external editor is in 90% better then new ABAP editor (the only problem is that double click on object doesn't work, but some workarounds are known for double-click on locally defined objects).
Graphical screen painter is generally good tool, but once I cannot find any feature (sorry, I forgot which one, it happens about 6 years ago). I ask a SAP guru sitting near me. He comes, switch graphical screen painter off and click to a box in non-graphical version of screen painter. Then he told me that some features are not accessible in graphical screen painter. It was last time I used graphical version of screen painter.
Themes? Works .... at least for me (Linux 32 bit and now Linux 64 bit too).
So I think that Java GUI is usable (at least on Linux/Mac, I am not sure how in works under Windows) but you cannot stick on all features (and maybe you can find better working variants of it). E. g. I have no problem with new ABAP editor, it would be much better for me, if I can open external editor clicking to "Change" button in SE38 directly instead of click plus selecting external editor from menu.
