New field in ME22n - Fast change option

Hi Experts,
I have a requirment to add new field (SLFDT - Statistical delivery date) in ME22N fast change option.Since the customer don't want to change the standard structures ,I have created append structure for MEPOITEM and MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS. But the new field doen't display in the output, even it doesn't come in debugging mode.
I have added this field in debugging mode in both structures , at that time this field displays in fast change list.Kindly suggest me on this.
Also I am not able to find any relevent sap note for this scenario.

Good News on fast change layout .
i am able to add new fields on the layout and working .
we have to append structure with new fields in MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS and MEPOITEM.
after that we have to reset the buffer .

Hi out there,
does anyone know why the structure MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS doesn't contain the filed ekpo-prdat, the pricing date. We have a lot of positions in our purchase orders and sometimes the pricing date of the positions needs to be changed. But the mentioned field is not changeable with the FAST Change option ..

Problem with adding new field to the mass change screen in FBL5N

Hi,
We have a problem with adding the field XREF3 to the mass change screen. We followed steps described in the SAP Note 640908, but the result is that when we try to mass change some documents in FBL5N and enter some values in the mass change screen, a message appears: "Please enter at least one new value" and nothing is changed.
If you have faced with such a problem, we would be grateful if you give us some tips.

Fast Change in OO ALV Report

Can any one please tell me how to implement FAST CHANGE option in ALV Report. FAST CHANGE is the option you can see in ME22N to change all item Values at one time.

In hidden fields, select therequired field
for selecting one field, there are four arrows
left shift, left, right, right shift fields.
then select<-- this arrow for one field.
if want to add more fields then go for
<<-- this arrow.
so that it will be moved to display field

Change Pointers - adding a new field to existing Change Document

Hi,
We have a requirement to capture the changes made to the Material object through the transaction C223. The changes to field MKAL-PRFG_F have to be captured.
There is an exisitng Change Document Object - MATERIAL. This is included in Message Type MATMAS. These are the steps we have done:
1. In SCDO - added the Z structure to the Change Document Object - Material. [Z structure contains the field MKAL-PRFG_F. Change pointer option is checked for this Data element.
2. Created a Z Message Type with reference as MATMAS.
3. In BD52 - we have listed the fields for the new Z Message Type created.
4. The Change Pointers - reactivated after the steps are done.
The changes to the field MKAL-PRFG_F through C223 Tcode are not recorded in BDCPV table.
Have we missed any steps here?

I don't think a new zmessage type is required in this case.. is the structure added to MARA table??The change document programs are there which triggers the iodcs... In SCDO transaction code , click on generation info for MATERIAL.. You will find the includes. The FM MATERIAL_WRITE_DOCUMENT creates entries in CDHDR and CDPOS, if we maintain entries in BD52 , the entries wil be written in BDCP and BDCPS tables.
Try to add your structure in MARA table as append strucre and then you can debug the IDOC from WE19 and use the FM "MASTERIDOC_CREATE_SMD_MATMAS" and then you also need to switch on Update Debugging on, to debug the changes in update FM MATERIAL_WRITE_DOCUMENT.
Please see if the change is reflected or not....

may be you need to create a new entry in SCDO and do all the ALE configurations for change pointers.

New field in Enjoy PO (ME22N) on item level. not changable.

I searched the forum for this, but hmmm was kinda flooded with stuff not belonging to my subject. Maybe we should have Search courses...
So dudes this is the first time i have to adopt/enhance SAPLMEGUI.
I Appended include CI_EKPODB.
Since this is included in MEPOITEM i didnt had to append MEPOITEM.
My field is on the business-tab on item level. (Dynrpo 1322).
So i appended MEPO1322.
Then i modified Dynrpo 1322 (as it was already modified) and added my new field.
For testing issues i took a PO and used SE16N and &sap_edit to get some value into my new field for a certain PO-item.
When i then tried ME22N with my PO i saw my field on the right position and even populated with the value i had just set.
The thing is that even tho i´m in ME22N it is not changable.
Are there any documentations on how to modify/enhance/whatever PO items in enjoy scenario?
Having a look at MEPOITEM it has 2 big includes:
MEPOITEM_DATA "according to comments those should be changable
MEPOITEM_TECH "according to comments those should NOT be driectly changable
But since CI_EKPODB is included in MEPOITEM_DATA i get the idea that my field should be changable.
Sorry if i didnt search properly, i tried, maybe you can give me a hint how to imrpove my searches

Probably the metafield is missing, this is set by fm MEMFS_BUILD_MAPPING_PO_VIEWS

Need to know the changes required in proxy after enhancing one new field

Hi All,
   I have a File to Proxy scenerio which is currently working fine. But the functional people have added two more fields in the table as a result we are not able to post any file in the table and the file goes intoerror.
Note: We are not geting those new fields in our incoming file.
Can anyone let me know from where else we have to changed the things to populate the file correctly in the table.
Please let me know you need any further information.

      You regenrate the proxy structure(inbound interface) accordingly to local settings.
      please let me know, after regeneration also it is not reflecting.
      please do the following steps to regenrate.
      in s-proxy t.code, select message interface ( inbound)- right-click and chose option change/regenerate.
      save and activate, then it will reflect.

ME21N Fast Change-Field Addiition

Dear All,
In ME21N/ME22N, there is a Fast Change Icon at the item level after Copy Item Icon.
When clicked on it, we can see the hidden fields in it which are present in the structure
MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS
Now I want to add one more field which is the WBS Element in this list of hdden fields.
So I added this field to MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS structure by doing an Append Structure
But it is not making any difference.I cannot see WBS Element in that list of hidden fields.
Can anyone tell me how to meet this requirement

How to edit the cube with new fields without changing historical in BI 7.0

I have requirment that need to edit cube with new fields and without changing historical data on it.
Please some one can advise me abt the above scenario.

In BI 7.0,
we cannot add a characteristic to an existing dimension if the data is not deleted from the cube.
It can go to a new dimension and that will not change the existing structure of the cube tables, but will just add to it (as another dim table). or use remodeling.

I checked in Web UI configuration for urgent change document as you mentioned but still that button is not coming.
In transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB, i have created enh. set: Z_ENHANCEMENT_SET.
Can you tell what to selelect in application and page popup which comes after selecting Enhance component button. Actually i tried but i am not able to add new record in conf.
