New field to be displayed in MIR4, MIR7 & MIRO..R3, 4.71,Oracle9i,Solaris

Hi experts,
In MIR4 transaction (Display invoice document) we need to show one
extra field in the subsequent subscreen as mentioned below.
The details of Vendor i.e. bank account number,
Name of the bank, Address, Telephone number, Fax number are available.
Apart from these fields we need to display Bank Control key (LFBK-
BKONT) also on the top of the Vendor bank account number.
This we need to display for MIR4, MIR7 & MIRO transactions.
Please suggest. . .

So w r to Unix (solaris), replacing the kernel in sapmnt/P47 will do (i mean existing exe rename to like exe_old and new kernel to reanme as exe) or any thing extra i have to do.

Hi.
I have a scenario where in we have added a new field to "My open activities" in CRM 5.0 Own tab.
However the value of the field for various transactions is getting displayed only for one particular user and not for all the users.
what may be the reason for this?!!!!!!
The only user who is getting the output properly, the user ID of his was replication based on similar roles to check whether it was issue related with roles. But the output was not obtained even with the replicated user ID.
Hence the output continues to come only for one particular user in all the systems.
Kindly request to provide some inputs / suggestions at the earliest.

New field category not display in ALV report

Hi, I modifying an existing ALV report.
I have a problem to insert the new field into the ALV report.
The field and column title have been populated in alv field category correctly, but when FM 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY' executed, the new field and column didn't appear.
Anybody can help me.

loop at it_fieldcatalog into wa_fieldcatalog.
wa_fieldcatalog-fieldname = 'NEW_FIELD'.

append wa_fieldcatalog to it_fieldcatalog.
clear wa_fieldcatalog,

New field not displaying in ALV

Hi all,
I have worked with ALV before, but currently I'm facing the problem of adding a new field to the ALV but it was not display on the screen. I have checked the fieldcatalog table and internal table right before the call of GRID-> SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY. All seems to be fine at this moment. Just that the new field was not displayed on the screen. Any idea?

If you are using the old-fashioned ALV you will find several push-buttons for changing the ALV layout.
If you are using OO-based ALV then you will have a single push-button in the ALV toolbar with dropdown menu to select the specific function.
In any case, choose function "Change layout...". Usually you will get a popup with two lists of fields:
- on the left side you see the currently displayed fields in the ALV list
- on the right side you see fields that can additionally displayed
For sure you will find your missing field there.

How to add new fields in collaboration tasks?

Currently, by default, we are able to see in the collaboration tasks rooms fields as "Subject", "From", "Sent Date" , "Due Date" ,
"Status"...
Now i want to add new custom fields apart from standard; when i create new tasks i want fill this new fields and after, display this fields in the UWL.
Can you please let me know how to add our own fields in the collaborations tasks rooms ?

New field in ME22n - Fast change option

Hi Experts,
I have a requirment to add new field (SLFDT - Statistical delivery date) in ME22N fast change option.Since the customer don't want to change the standard structures ,I have created append structure for MEPOITEM and MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS. But the new field doen't display in the output, even it doesn't come in debugging mode.
I have added this field in debugging mode in both structures , at that time this field displays in fast change list.Kindly suggest me on this.
Also I am not able to find any relevent sap note for this scenario.

i am able to add new fields on the layout and working .
we have to append structure with new fields in MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS and MEPOITEM.
after that we have to reset the buffer .

How to add new field to table control data not displayed

I have added some nwe fields to already existing table control added three new fields...
though the recoreds are inserted in teh table properly with the three new fields user id data and time fields
but on display only the data is not shown in these three columns though the data is coming in internal table...but not to the screen output

First try the small button Configuration on top right of the table control, as displayed when you run the program. Hit 'Administrator' and see if the fields are checked as invisible. Uncheck them, activate and save.
If the fields are not in that list at all, then check if the table control is initialized for the screen you use. For example
CONTROLS: tc_ent_lines TYPE TABLEVIEW USING SCREEN '0100'.
but you copied your screen and use the same table control in the new screen 0200. Then all you have to do is
REFRESH CONTROL 'TC_ENT_LINES' FROM SCREEN '0200'.
before you show the screen.

I've added in a new field inside the ITAB internal table, but it wouldn't appear in the t_cat, only all the old fields will appear. What have i done wrong?

Facing similar kind of issue.. added one field to the existing internal table. This is not getting populted by the field catalog merge FM. Tried with the suggested solution also of running programs BALVBUFDEL,
BCALV_BUFFER_DEL_SHARED then logging off and logging in..
But the newly added field is not getting populated. Any suggestions would be of great help.

It can't be done with iPhoto. There are some DAM (digital asset management) applications that can write to other IPTC fields that iPhoto can't read. One such app is Media Pro 1.
However you would have to calculate the age for each date and add it to one of the fields. There are online age calculators that can do that for you: Age Calculators
If you go thru that much trouble then use iPhoto, make the calculations and add the age to the Description field. Then you can use Smart Albums to search for 1year 6 month text.

Query 1.
PCUI: Adding custom created field in a new TAB (BSP Iview)
Steps Done
a. Custom field defined in an object (say Opportunity)
b. An event created.
c. A Group Tab Page created
d. A Field group created and a new field name added to the field group (What structure need to be added to this field group?)
e. Entry made in Application Layout for an application i.e. event / position / screen element / tab page / structure. (Again what structure to be added?)
To handle this new field & tab, plz advice
1. What needs to be entered in the screen structure? Do we need to create this structure?
2. The required the model access class defined for the screen structure.
3. Any changes required in the controllers
(Where is the linking between custom field defined in the opportunity object and the new field entry made in the filed group)

Calling a webpage in a tab (ODC1, Detail area)
Opening a webpage in an iview can be done easily by reating a URL iview.
If the requirement is to open a web page in ODC1, than what are the steps required for the same?
e.g. On clicking a user defined tab the webpage should open in the detail area 1.

We have extended an object (say field addition in opportunity header) through EEWB
Will the added filed be available in PCUI screen also?

New ALV field is not displaying

The final internal table having the currency field and it has value. Curreny field is not displaying in output. Pls help

Check once again in IMG>SD>Basic func>Pricing >Pricing control>define condition table>conditions : allowed fields> go to new entries then press F4
check here newly created field is there or not
(or) when creation of condition table check properly next page button in menu bar
still if its not found

Display new Field in Web UI

Hello all,
I am working on a CRM 2007 - Web UI.
We customized some Activities and are now optimizing the UI pages for this activities.
Now I want to bring a new Field at the surface (G-KAM) at the activity-creation screen.
I defined a G-KAM during the activity customizing as an partner function. Now I wand to show this field at the top box "Appointment Details". My Partner determination would rund at the page and should fill this field. The partner determination runs very well yet.
However I don`t know where I can find this field via Transaction "BSP_WD_CMPWP". I`ve loaded the component "BT126H_APPT" and want to bring this field in view "BT126H_APPT/ApptDetails".
How can I do this?

I think this has been answered before and as a moderator I should know better, but I will give you the general answer regardless and then try to find the original topic.
So basically you created a partner function and want to have direct maintenance of that function on the screen. This is not a simple as adding a new field. However it can be done.
You have to create a new context node similar to the BTPARTNERACCOUNT node on the screen. It will be a model node of BTPartner
It will be dependent to BTPARTNERSET and then the BOL relation will be one that corresponds to your partner function. You'll model the redefinitiosn in the new node after the BTPARTNERACCOUNT methods that have been redefined.
You will then add the field partnerno field from the new context node into your view. Do a further search in this forum on BTPartner and you will find more details.

How to Add new fields to display in VF05

Hello,
I need to add some fields so they are shown in the VF05 - List of all Billing documents. Is this something that needs to be done by ABAP changes or can i modify the layout in config to add those new fields. Because as of now those new fields are not shown in the available list of fields. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
VF05 is a standard report.Her normally all fields will appear.Press (Ctrl+F8) and check whetehr there are any unassigned fields.Here you can change the layout.
If your required fields are not there in the list then you have to develop a code for this.
Copy the standard code from the program "SAPMV65A" and create a Z program.Add your required fields to this one with the help of your ABAPer.

Requirement is 5 decimals in amot which i cant go with std sap------(Ie. I cant go with chnages in global settings)
I want chnage the field KONP-KBERT) as with 5 decimal
if its not possible can we make one new field instead og KBERT like ZBERT with 5 decimal and we also should be ale to display only ZBERT not KBERT

First you should ask why amount is required in 5 decimal places. Anything is possible to do in ABAP but we need to see if it is worth doing it
