New Firefox version will no longer connect to my college's internet It NEVER had a problem with connecting before.
Since I changed my laptop to the new version of Firefox it crashes EVERY time the college internet tries to sign on for authorization. It never did this with the previous version.
What is supposed to happen is it opens a page that asks me to click "I accept" as to what the college allows via internet, and that connects me to the web. But now Firefox crashes every time the college attempts to link to it. So I am not even technically online when it crashes.
I am having to use IE to connect now until this is resolved or I will have to go back to the old Firefox. Help?
1. Have you tried rebooting router?
2. Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

I can't move photos from iPhoto to my secondary hard drive or to a burn folder. I have never had a problem with this before. This is something new. They will not drop into either folder. Nothing happens.
I checked my secondary harddrive and there is plenty of memory.
I emptied my burn folder but the photos still will not drop into it.
I created a new burn folder, no luck with this either.
230 photos is the maximum size of the events I am trying to move from iPhoto to save elsewhere.
I have shut down and restarted my computer. No change. The photos still will not drop out of iPhoto.
My Mac Computer Storage shows that I have 62.2GB free out of 249.2GB (movies, photos and contacts taking up the most space)
My Lacie External Harddrive (2TB capacity) shows that I have 1.79TB available. It shows that 207,729,520,640 bytes (207.73 GB on disk) are used.
I have never had this problem before. It is usually very easy to move my photos from iPhoto.
I am not a computer expert (I work in surgery so don't have a need for lots of computer knowledge) so please explain in simple terms.

I really appreciate it.YES Terence! Thank you. Exporting allowed me to move my photos from iPhoto into the Burn Folder on my desktop. But that doesn't explain why I'm having to go that route now. Have I done something (accidentally changed some setting) on my computer that will not allow me to just click and drag anymore? I really liked the convenience of the click and drag option.
I don't have the time tonight to export and burn a lot of CD/DVDs. I'll try that tomorrow and make sure my photos are moving properly. I also need to export photos to my external hard drive to make sure that route is working.
Wouldn't you know that my Apple Care Plan runs out this Wednesday?! I need to make sure everything is working properly before that expires.

I rented a Movie and it has been loading for 3 hours now. Internet connection is fine. Have never had a problem with this before. What's really annoying is that the 24 hour time limit is counting down even though we cant watch it. Any suggestions?
The first thing to check would be your internet download speed, you can do this at www.speedtest.net.
HD movies require a recommended speed of 6 Mbps, while SD movies require a recommended speed of 2.5 Mbps.
Additionally, your 24 hours don't start until you begin to watch the movie, you have 30 days to start watching the movie. -
Neither my Android tablet nor my brand new iPad 2 will connect to my home's wireless network, even though the tablet has never had a problem connecting before.

The first message after Firefox fails to connect says "This website does not supply ownership information." Then is says "Connection Not Encrypted."
Yet my previous Firefox version connected readily to this same site.I appreciate this option, to go back to an earlier version, but I really want to use the latest FF, so the counsel from cor-rel, about dealing with cache and cookies, is the solution I pursued. And it worked!

2nd generation ipod won't connect to the internet, and i've never had a problem with it before.
My ipod won't connect to the wi-fi but our computer will.

Got a Riptunes MP3 player and put USB cord from MP3 player to MacBook Pro to transfer songs and my computer immediately shut down and won't power back up and won't charge now....what do I do!?

I just upgraded to the newest version of Firefox. In this new version it sometimes won't open a link even in a search engine such ask Yahoo. It also won't ever go to an address I type into the web address bar. I have never ever had this problem with a web browser so I know it's not me. I've never had this problem with Firefox before either. Please fix this bug.

I can't find a solution to the adobe flashplayer that is associatied with Firefox. I keep getting script problems and am asked to either continue or ignore the problem. I've been a long-time user of Firefox and have never had any problems with Firefox or any associated programs (plug-ins) and so this is a surprise to me. I checked the version of the flashplayer and find that I have the most current version; so I'm not sure what's going on.
Do a malware check with some malware scan programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />

First we aren't Apple just normal users just like you.
Second provide Apple a feedback or send them a mail.
Third they will never send you a free iPad Air.
If you want one you have to buy it. (go for refurbished if the device is too expensive) or look for special prices.
Contact iTunes support if you have a problem with an App. -
I purchased 2 iphone 5's. One for my husband and one for me. Both have cracked the screen in the first week. I even have a case on mine. Never had this problem with the previous versions iphones being so fragile. Has anyone else experienced this?
Tests by some of the web sites and magazines claim that the iPhone 5 is in fact more rugged than previous models. That doesn't obviate the possibility of an assembly defect that would make yours more susceptible to damage, but if you dropped or impacted them and they cracked, then your warranty will not apply and you'll have to pay for replacement, either the AppleCare+ "deductible", if you purchased AppleCare+ with your iPhone, or Apple's normal out-of-warranty replacement charge.
You can of course make an appointment at an Apple Store, explain the situation, and hope that there's something they can do for you. Don't count on it, though.

I have an iPhone 4S and never had a problem with syncing it. But suddenly, when I connected my phone to my mac, it says that its in recovery mode, and I need to restore it in order to sync. I've updated both my phone and my itunes, and it didnt work.Help?

No, it does not. It transfers purchases from the iDevice to the computer. The computer must be authorized for the Apple ID that the content was acquired with.

I spend good money for my iPhone i have the iPhone 5 with the new charger slot which is smaller. I have been through at least 3 charging cords and this is not acceptable to me. i never had a problem with this on my older phone. apple needs to correct this and reimburse me for this cord.

i have just purchased elements 12. It will not convert a raw file for me. i have downloaded DNG convertor 8.5 but it says that my Canon 70d is not compatible. I never had a problem with my last camera canon 7d and elments 8. Can someone help me please
Did you buy PSE in the mac app store? If not, just go to Help>Updates in the editor and update camera raw and you should be able to open the raw files in PSE 12 directly without the DNG converter.
