New firmware but Creative software doesn't detect Zen To

I installed new firmware (a story in itself) but since then creative software doesn't detect my player. It works fine through Real player (but slow) and Media player but I preferred the creative software. I have installed updated software but still the same. Not much joy as yet from Creative and I have tried troubleshooting which involves sync-ing with Windows media but it just froze most of the time and was incredibly slow. After rolling back Media player 0 I re-installed but same thing happened.Anyone have any ideas?

I have had the same problem. I've tried to update the firmware and now thw PC software does nor recognise the zen. Tried everthing and in the process of seding it back to creative. Anyone any ideas. could be cheaper to buy something else that works longer than 4 months.

I have a Zen Touch and I have it for a year now but I had installed Creative mediasource a time ago again and now he doesn't find my mp3 player. But my Windows Media Player detects it and with WMP I can put music on my zen touch but not with CMS and I like to do it with CMS. I have installed all drivers and now I don't know what to do. Can anybody help?

If your iMac has a PowerPC processor, Leopard OS 10.5.x is the max OS. If your iMac has an Intel processor, it can run Snow Leopard OS 10.6.x or possibly higher.
Once we know your iMac model, we can better recommend what OS X version.

If you are still having problems with your iPad, it is still under AppleCare.
Bring it into an Apple Store to have it diagnosed and repaired under warranty.

You only bought it four months ago, so it's still under warrantly.
Call Applecare or call your nearest Applestore to make an appointment. Tell them your mac has serious technical issues, describe them shortly.

Creative Software doesn't recognize X-Fi but drivers work fi

Hi all, I'm having a very strange issue with my X-Fi Fatalty card.
I installed it on Windows XP SP2.
Driver is installed and works fine, I can hear audio and I can calibrate volume and other things using windows internal mixer.
The problem is with Creative Software: they don't recognize the card.
If I try to run Audio Console or any other utility a pop-up told me that "there are no compatible hardware found" and exits.
I tried to update driver, to reinstall all creative suite completely, to install driver package only but no luck...
The strange thing is that driver is installed correctly (no question marks in device manager) and basic sound works! So I don't think it's hardware fault but software one
Is there a way to force card detection? BTW how is it works? I don't know if creative softwares look for card using a key in the registry, a configuration file somewhere, mac address of the card and so on...

Ok folks, this is the trusty XPGoD with a bit of wisdom..... I've tried everything on this thread, and Google Groups, and well... everywhere. Here's what fixes the issue where when you try to open a Creative software app.. it says "No Supported Device was found, do you want to pick one?"? (Something like that)?. Click Start then RUN2. Type MSCONFIG, hit enter3. On the tab your looking at (General), if selected or not choose SELECTIVE STARTUP4. Uncheck the following:Process SYSTEM. INI System FileProcess WIN. INI System FileLoad Startup ItemsAnd make sure USE ORIGINAL BOOT is selected.5. Go to the Services tab6. Check HIDE ALL MICROSOFT SERVICES7. Choose DISABLE ALL8. Your iPhone has probably gone into recovery mode. Since, you have already backed up the iPhone there is nothing to worry about. Please follow this article, it would certainly resolve your issue

I installed a new firmware but now I don´t like

The matter is that I installed the new firmware which gives you the chance to drag and drop the songs just using Windows but then does not let you use the original program. Well, I tried the Windows drag and drop and it is great if you need it when you are not in your computer, but I do not like to organize my songs, I think is really unconmfortable. Then, my question is there is anyway by I can either erase everything on my Zen Touch and start again or install any other program which would let me use the Creative MediaSource Organizer again.

Looking in my player in the Recovery Mode it says Creative Zen Touch v0.0.0
I installed the playforsure firmware, I saw that I couldn?t use the Creative Organizer and messing around with the WMP I realize that I liked better the Creative one. So I didn?t know what to do. I think I downloaded that ZENT_PCAPP_LB__30_04_MTP and it kept not working. So I went in the Recovery Mode and I press Reload Firmware, but know I?m still in the same situation, cause the Creative Organizer won?t recognize my player.

PC DOESN'T DETECT ZEN MICRO

after I downloaded the latest firmware updates/drivers for my zen micro, my pc doesn't detect my player. i can't view songs via windows explorer, creative interface or windows media player.
i tried uninstalling and then re-installing all of the creative software from cd, but that didn't work.
everything worked before i installed the drivers...
please help?

i got my player to work on my pc again... FINALLY. in the device manager, i hit 'update driver' and my player was detected (at least signaled on the player). when i tried to access songs via windows explorer, it then said it wasn't detected and then the icon on the player was gone again.
sooo000, i hit 'update driver' again and again the icon reappeared on the player saying it was docked. while the icon was still there i reinstalled the driver (. ) and replaced the existing driver.
voila!! it works again!!! hopefully this post will help someone else out there. it's a great player and i'm just happy i can use it on my pc.

Windows doesn't detect Zen V Plus he

I've just purchased the Creative Zen V Plus 4gb for my girlfriend but windows doesn't want to detect it, I have followed the?online suggestions with no?luck. It shows in my device manager but with an exclamation mark next to it, I've tried re-installing the driver with?no luck. I've tried this with media player 0 and just updated to series but am still having the same problem. I think all I need is a driver for this player but the software that came with it is not helping me! I have a ipod which I use on the same usb port and that works fine so why doesn't the Zen work!?

NOMAD Explorer doesn't detect Zen To

I open NOMAD Explorer and it says not connected. I would really like to look at the files in my player and edit the tags and whatnot. I can still use the Windows Explorer thing to access the player. Any help on getting it to detect or anyone have another way to edit the files?

Are you using the PlayForSure firmware(verson 2.xx.xx) for the Zen Touch player now? Nomad Explorer won't work with the new firmware. You can download the Zen Touch Media Explorer suite from the website and use that instead to replace the Nomad Explorer.

Upgraded Zen MicroPhoto firmware but player still doesn't resp

I eventually erased the firmware, and everytime I try to upgrade it says firmware upgraded, reset your player, it goes to reboot and then freezes one screen after it used to. Now it freezes on Zen Microphoto instead of Creative. Help!?

Brand new nano, but one earbud doesn't work

My ipod is 1 week old. my earbuds work in other accessories, but not in ipod. Have tried 5 different sets.

You will need to get it serviced to repair the headset jack.
If it is only one week old return it and then get a new one.
