New firmware - No gaps great, but NO ALBUM IMAGE also

I just installed the new version of the firmware (1.2) for my 5th generation iPod.
Finally I can listen my clasical music without gap. Great!
But I have lost now the pictures of most of my CD. I mean the pictures are still there and I can see them in iTunes 7 but not in my ipod anymore.
I clicked twice the "show album pictures in the ipod" but it seems not to work.
Any idea of how to solve this?

Try going into settings and uncheck the display
cover art button Sync then check it back on and sync
again. I had the same problem.

I already tried that but it seems to work only for a few covers. For most of them I cannot see the image in the iPod...

It says you have the wrong password.

Reset the TC to factory and start again.
But do not be surprised if the v5 utility no longer works to do the setup.

There is a new firmware for my N70 but NSU says ot...

I have an N70 which currently has firmware version 5.0609.2.0.1 installed on it. I am pretty sure that there is a newer version available as confirmed in the software update availability page here.
When I use my product code (which is 0523985) it says that the latest version is 5.0705.3.0.1 which is far newer than what is on my phone right now but when I use Nokia Software Updater it says "No software update available for your phone"!
I have also read the post by karim titled: "Please read this on the Nokia Updater - Important advice".
It does mention this problem but I don't have any idea about to which Email should I send my product code! Can I have more info on that?
Also to mention again, my product code is 0523985

I contacted Nokia Support, and they sent me some info on how to get support locally some days ago. However, I plugged my phone again today and voila! to my surprise, it detected the new firmware and right now that I'm typing, I am updating to the new version.
I'm not sure but I think I should thank Nokia Support for registering my Product Code and certainly for responding to my request in quite a short time.
I should also thank all the other guys who gave me help on this issue, specially scoopyman.

New Extreme network is great but where's Express?

My brand-new Airport Extreme works great; it is connected to my g5 by ethernet (the g5 has no airport card). The signal is good throughout my house, and I can connect no problem with my MBP, old iMac, and PB (I did have to configure the network with WEP instead of WPA, so iMac could connect). The Express is a problem though. I have tried every variation of WDS vs. Client mode, power cycling, hard/soft/factory resets, etc. I have had success configuring the Express and getting airtunes to work when connected by ethernet, but the unit drops off the network again when the cable is disconnected. The express and airtunes worked fine on my old extreme network. I can't even see the express in airport utility from my g5 unless I connect to it by ethernet cable. If I take the express and MBP into the kitchen (where I want to use it to feed the kitchen stereo) my MBP still can't see it, and again can only configure it by ethernet cable.
Any advice?

After you've reset the Airport Express to factory defaults have you tried to configure it wirelessly? Just disconnecting from your Airport Extreme and connecting to the Airport Express and setting up as a Wireless Client to your Extreme?

iTunes as you see it in the application window uses a series of files and folders contained in the iTunes folder. Some people make the mistake of only backing up their media in which case all you have is a bunch of media files without the iTunes structure. In that case you have to build a new library yourself.
What exactly do you mean "not recognized"? The phone does not show up on the computer at all, or it does but it says it will wipe the phone? The wipe the phone stuff is again because it cannot find the original library to which it was synced. You need to transfer the entire iTunes folder from the old computer or the backup you made of it.

JUST recently bought new white unibody, update great, but iphoto not workin

I just got my new macbook, like two days ago. With it, was ilife '11. I updated, everything was fine, uploaded fast actually.
i went through my dock and checked, everything was up to day, when i got to iphoto a pop up with the finder face came up and said "In order to open iPhoto, you need to update the latest version. Please run Software Update to install it now."
which i did, twice. everything but the iphoto works, which is a complete downer because id like to get my pictures off of my SD cards already........ please if anyone can help. First time mac user.
It said "user friendly, operational right out of the box" so why is that one thing not working...

WRT610N New Firmware Upgrade and USB Hard disk not working

Hi, I've just upgraded the new firmware, everything seems fine but now my USB Hard disk is not recognizable unless i restart the router. I have a Seagate FreeAgent 500Gigs, and it worked perfectly with the previous firmware. Just wondering if its just me or anyone else has the same problem.

The same thing is happening to me... After the HDD goes to sleep, when you goto access it again you can hear it spin up but you still can't access it at all.

These questions come up time and time again. Two main factors affect this:
(1) Updates are phased in around the world because there are numerous regional variants, it is not just a single softwarfe for any particular model worldwide. Some regional variations may lag behind others.
(2) If the phone has operator-version software instead of standard Nokia software, Nokia must await the approval of the network before it may release updates.

MW1 new firmware 0.1.D.0.6 OTA

New firmware avaible via ota but as I try to update it every time disconnecting the program without completing the update.
I hope that is also released through the program on pc "UPDATE SERVICE"

I successfully updated my MW1 yesterday actually and didn't face the issue you describe.
Have you tried downloading the update both via mobile network and wi-fi? Do you get any error message?

N78 New Firmware

I know anybody here have the information about new firmwares coming to devices but you are much more experienced than me to know if N78 lifes cycle has end or Nokia would planning a new firmware to N78
I'm asking because it has lots of bugs that should be corrected, and when I say "lots" I mean at least 4 or 5 annoying bugs
The lastest firmware is dated from 05/08/09 (American Format)

Nokia seems to be comitted to improve the user experience... Its really good to know that... They have to do it to survive... BTW Nokia N78 latest firm ware is a little better. The operations seems to be fast.
It has just been a day with the firmware.. So far no problem... I faced a few problems while updating the USB get disconnected when the update is about to begin... but the latest software update program has all required warning... It asked me to restart my pc and my cell phone... And try again ... I did it Alas it worked ... got it updated ...

The icons for videos (The one in old version was better) and search are all new.

Few problems with the camera still remains... music volume has come down a bit... the gps seems to be working a little faster.

Seeking Help with Album Image Issues in iPod Classic

Hi folks -
I have a new 160 iPod Classic and have two album image-related issues I'd appreciate some help with.
In the case of several albums where I'd associated my own art with them in iTunes, the formatting appeared off in my iPod due to the vertical/horizontal proportions. So I corrected the images, replaced the images via iTunes, and re-synced. All of the old images were replaced - except for two. Is there any way to get my iPod to recognize the change to these two images, as it did for all the others?
Secondly, my "The Allman Brothers Band Live at Fillmore East" album was appearing twice in both the Cover Flow and Album list. That was strange, except that after the latest sync it now appears six times! It's only in one place in iTunes, and not erroneously set as a compilation or anything. This is the only album displaying this behavior...

I have tried several ways to transfer my itunes library and Playlists to a new computer. I get the music library but not the playlists. Can you advise?

Copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder from old computer to new computer.

I installed a new firmware but now I don´t like

The matter is that I installed the new firmware which gives you the chance to drag and drop the songs just using Windows but then does not let you use the original program. Well, I tried the Windows drag and drop and it is great if you need it when you are not in your computer, but I do not like to organize my songs, I think is really unconmfortable. Then, my question is there is anyway by I can either erase everything on my Zen Touch and start again or install any other program which would let me use the Creative MediaSource Organizer again.

Ok, let me see, cause I am also confused lol.
Looking in my player in the Recovery Mode it says Creative Zen Touch v0.0.0
I installed the playforsure firmware, I saw that I couldn?t use the Creative Organizer and messing around with the WMP I realize that I liked better the Creative one. So I didn?t know what to do. I think I downloaded that ZENT_PCAPP_LB__30_04_MTP and it kept not working. So I went in the Recovery Mode and I press Reload Firmware, but know I?m still in the same situation, cause the Creative Organizer won?t recognize my player.
That helps?

iPhoto '11 is working well.
The reviews usually only show the comments of people who do not like the changed features.
