New firmware with support iPod Hi-Fi

Are there any plans to new firmware to iPod Classic with full support *iPod Hi-Fi*? I don't know should I sold my brand new iPod Classic 80GB, and buy used, older one - iPod Video. I realy like iPod Hi-Fi, but Apple doesn't. Why? It's not so old product, so *where is support for it?*

Are there any plans to new firmware to iPod Classic with full support *iPod Hi-Fi*?
Since no one here works for Apple we wouldn't know.

I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

  • N85 need a new firmware with CPU Clockrate upgrade...

Just Like Nokia 5800XM we need new firmware with less bugs and also Upgrading the CPU clockrate to 434Mhz which possible as we seen it on Nokia 5800XM for N85
    any Opinions about it?
Message Edited by saeid1371 on 24-Sep-2009 11:45 AM

That is not going to happen as the processor on the N85 is already running at it's maximum clock speed.
The 5800 was underclocked (not overclocked) due to instabilities of the new v5 operating system. Once they had fixed the problems they restored it to it's actual speed.
Nokia will never overclock a device so it is not possible to increase the clock speed of the N85.
If you want a faster but similar phone you will need to upgrade to an N86.

    I like it!
When I picked the phone up from the Nokia store last November, the salesman told me that Multi-Touch support was coming, but I haven't heard anything since then and had started to forget about it and just move on, but this shows that there is life in the dog yet, and that's it coming...
Can't wait to show that off in the future...but when is it coming? End of Feb with the next big one?

  • New iMac with existing iPod Touch (64G) authorization problem

I got a new iMac and transferred everything over to it from my existing iMac using the migration assistant during the first boot-up. When I sync my existing iPod touch (64G 3rd gen) I get stuck in an authorization loop where the Mac says I need to authorize the computer, I do so and then it says the computer is already authorized. New CDs that I have imported into my iTunes library since I bought the new iMac will not load onto the Touch during sync and some (but not all) of the music that I have purchased from iTunes will not play on the iMac. I have already checked to make sure that I have all the recent software updates and I do.
Any idea what is going on and how to solve this frustrating problem?

Deauthorizing and reauthorizing my Mac solved the problem with not being able to sync newly imported CDs with my iPod Touch.
The problem with not being able to access some of my purchased iTunes music is a function of having 2 different iTunes accounts that I bought tunes with. I'll need to contact apple customer service to sort that one out.

  • New firmware with unexpected errors

I just downloaded the new firmware for Airport Extreme and Airport Express. I woke up this morning, and the network would not recognize one of my Express base stations. I went to the Apple store and bought two new AirPort Express units. In each case, with the old unit and the two new units, all I get from the AirPort Utility is "An unexpected error occurred. Try again." Any thoughts, anyone?

I had this problem too. This may not work for you, but after a couple of hours of frustration, I tried doing a hard reset without the ethernet cable plugged in. I was then able to setup the device and plug the ethernet back in after it all worked.

  • New computer with old Ipod touch 2nd Gen.

New computer, old Ipod, how do I add my music to my new computer from my Ipod?

The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Just use your backup copy. This is one of the many reasons that always maintaining a backup is basic.

  • WRT54G3G-ST ... new firmware to support current cards?

I own a WRT54G3G router that a sprint air card plugs into the top of. I love the router so much I got another one and setup another card with sprint. The bad news is that none of the wireless cards currently offered are on the supported list. I took a shot and got a Sierra Wireless AirCard 402, which is an express card in a cradle. Since the supported list said that an older version of a cradled sierra wireless card would work, I figured this one would as well. I was wrong.
Would it be too much to ask the Linksys guys to put out just one more firmware upgrade for a NLA product that is still used and loved by their customers. Maybe just support a few of the newer cards from Sprint?

I had to register just to post a bump on the WRT54G3G-ST after I ran across this post.  After 3 years using it pretty much non stop it still works perfectly.  I dread the day if my old Pantech card ever gives out.
LinkSys,  you made an outstanding product IMO, and this product always makes me choose your product over another brand.
I know the message has only had like 50 something views,  but I'm sure there's alot more folks with this router that love it as much as I do.
I'm sure there will come a day when I need to upgrade and just hope I can still count on your product to come through for me and others.
Why not spend a day and pop out an updated firmware to show your dedication as some of us have shown you?
Sounds like simple common sense business practice to me.
Just a simple "Hey gang,  this will be our last firmware update for the WRT54G3G-ST. We hope you have had reliable performance and hope you
choose Linksys for your next router purchase."
    Sincerely,
    Rickbme

  • HT3622 how to create new playlists with second ipod device

    Hi,
    Welcome to MSDN.
I am afraid that this is not the proper forum for this issue, since each  Magnetic Card Reader writer has its API for developers.
You could consider getting supports by connecting with the publisher of that Magnetic Card Reader writer which should have the sample about using its API.
In addition, I did a research, you could refer to
Build a .NET Class for Serial Device Communications with P/Invoke to get how to communicate with that serial device.
    Thanks for your understanding.

  • Home Sharing wasn't turned on on my, now broken computer, that won't start. Now I can't syncronise my iTunes on my new computer with my iPod

I had my iPod connected to a computer that's now broken and now it won't start. Now I can't use Home Sharing on my new computer, since it wasn't turned on on my first computer, and I can't syncronise my iPod with my iTunes library. The only thing I can use iTunes for now, is to hear music from my computer... What can I do?
I'm pretty desperate for help; it would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you!

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
When it  says place the iPod in recoverymode use one of these programs.
    For PC
RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
    If necessary:
    Download QTMLClient.dll & iTunesMobileDevice.dll for RecBoot
    and
    RecBoot tip
    For MAC or PC
    The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • New iPod to new computer with another iPod already in iTunes

My iPod Video was originally loaded to my laptop and I backed up everything to an external hard drive. That iPod was stolen. I just purchased an iTouch and want to keep the iTunes on my desktop computer and the laptop. However, my husband also has an iPod in the desktop's iTunes. I created a Playlist Folder with my name to distinguish between the music settings. How do I move the music from my hard drive to my new playlist without erasing my husband's music?

I suspect you only migrated the media folder instead of the complete working library. Either review the transfer process and copy over the entire iTunes folder from your old profile's music folder or see Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

  • Itunes says my music files are 6gb, my user/itunes music folder says its 23gb. I am trying to move it from old/new mac with 8gb ipod

I am trying to move my sons  library to his new mac using his 8 gb i pod as a hard drive.....
itunes 9.0.1  says his music files is only  6gb.  But when I go to transfer his itunes folder it says his music folder is 23gb.  I know I can home share transfer but his wireless is down.  Either way I am wondering
    1)  why is Music folder so large compared to my music library?
2.) Can I simply move the 6gb of music and the playlist info etc....using his 8gb ipod?
3.) Can I delete his previous library files ?

No, I have the music I want to move from the laptop to the phone selected. Then I go under file, devices, and try to click sync but it is not available to click.

  • How to download new firmware/software for iPod classic

This may get complicated..My iPod Classic 120GB has served me well at my restaurant in Mexico as my pimary music source. During my absence, my manager's son (age 12) decided to "get" my music into his computer. I know he has a PC (I have Mac's)..almost sure he doesn't have iTunes. I was told my iPod "didn't work anymore", and I had it sent back to the states. It shows (on the iPod screen) as Connected..it shows up on desktop as "untitled" hardrive. iTunes doesn't recognize it at all. There is no reference to "My iPod" at all. I think he (somehow) removed any/all iPod software, along with my music (which is on my computer), so it appears that I'm left with a nice, empty, 120gb external hard drive. Question is: Can I download software to restore it to it's former iPod glory? Seems like I've tried on Apple Site, but all they want to do is "upgrade" existing iPods. Would really appreciate any suggestions that can help me get back on the bandwagon!!
      Thanks,
         DC

  • Got a new computer- Can I sync new iTunes with my iPod?

We recently had to purchase a new computer, and unfortunately I was not able to transfer my iTunes data from the old computer to the new one. I just downloaded iTunes onto my new computer, though of course it does not have any of the old data. My iPod has everything I need on it. We were able to transfer all our MP3's to our Music folder, so the files that are uploaded to my iPod are on the new computer. Is there any way I can transfer the information from my iPod to the iTunes?

are you using an iPod Touch or a regular iPod (e.g. Classic) ?
if the latter, maybe this KB article helps.
