New font not coming through?

We use reports 10g and app server/db 10g.
I need to use a new font for our company logo. I have installed this on the server and local PC. I have installed these and then amended a text string on one report to use the new font. It appears correct in reports builder and also correct when i use the run paper layout through reports builder on my local PC the report shows with the new font.
When i run the report from our reports server it changes the font to something else (looks like a standard forn like ariel or something).
Im assuming the reports server does not know this new font but yet i installed it on the server that has the app server installed on. I also gave the app server a reboot just to test this but still no luck.
Any help will be appreciated.

It is pretty weird that it does not work since both the IDS and the AS are in a Windows environment.
IF it is PDF, you can try something, you could configure PDF Font subsetting - this will embed the font in the generated file which would make it completely portable, you would not need to install the fonts in the client PCs.
Try saving and opening the PDF file that is generated with Acrobat Reader, then go into File -> Properties -> Fonts
What do you see ?
Try also generating an XML file from your .rdf, then search for "font face"
Did you find your new Font there ? What's the name ?

This name "Arial" is the name of the Font as the reports is going to need in the server.
For configuring PDF font subsetting, you can simply copy the .ttf files from the Windows Fonts folder into one folder in the REPORTS_PATH, then you go into the uifont.ali file to configure it.
i.e.
Arial..Italic.Bold.. = "Arialbi.ttf"
Arial...Bold.. = "Arialb.ttf"
Arial..Italic... = "Ariali.ttf"
Arial..... = "Arial.ttf"

I have an error where the *Total Actual Costs* for a Process order is not pulling through.
When I go into *Costs* -> *Analysis* I see that the *Total Target Costs* are coming through correctly, but the
*Total Actual Costs* are not coming through, there are no values.
The material has all the relevant pricing correctly in place.
These orders all have the correct *goods issues/receipts* done, as well as all the confirmations on the
*PI Sheets* are done correctly, but still no *Total Actual Costs* are coming through.
Please advise if there is something incorrect in the costing setup, master recipe setup or BOM setup.
Process orders for other materials all work correctly, however only this material does not pull through

Sound not coming through from recorder

When I transfer movies through Pyro A/V link from my recorder, the sound is not coming through.
The video jack and the sound jacks are both plugged in from the same source. Any suggestions!!!

It could be that your recording is in MPEG-2 format, which seems to be common among hard drive camcorders, and you require the MPEG-2 codec (available from the Apple Store).

Trouble with Meeting Requests not coming through - GMail to Exchange

I've just started trying to get a handle on all the thing my wife schedules for me around the kids. I've tried to get her to send me meeting requests so they go on my calendar but a lot of the time they're just not coming through. I get all of her emails and I get meeting requests all day long but there seems to be a problem getting the meeting requets from her.
She has an iPhone 4S and I have an iPhone 5 both running IOS 6.
She has gmail set up as Exchange in Mail on the iPhone.
I have a true MS Exchange account set up on the iPhone
She will create an event and add my work email as the invitee. It will show up on her phone but never come through sometimes.
Sometimes I've noticed that on her phone my name has a question mark next to it in the invite.
Any ideas? Any direction?

Email attachments not coming through

I am having trouble getting attachments in emails. Some of them come through and other do not. Most of them do not. I get a message that says "this message has not been downloaded from the server" What does this mean and why are they not coming through. I have 3 emails set up. My work email on an Exchange Server, Yahoo and Cox.net. Any suggestions or help would be grateful.

I assume these are pop email accounts?
If so, when on edge the speed is slower so attachments take longer to actually load than the email does. You may see the email show the headers and first few lines in preview, you may even get the email notification noise, but if you access the email before the full attachment is downloaded you will get the message not downloaded from server message.
Two options:
1 - wait longer for the attachments to download before accessing the email, make sure the spinning circle is done spinning - when I was on pop, depending on the size of the attachment, I had to wait up to 30 minutes to get the email AND attachment to download.
2 - switch to an imap account and this issue basically goes away.

Email not coming through!

So I just got a new Pearl 8130 from VZW last Saturday and for the majority of the time I've had the phone... my emails aren't coming through! I've got three accounts set up on it: 1 - a work account which I need to make sure I have my Outlook at work set to leave a copy of the message on the server after it downloads it locally to my computer. 2 - Gmail account #1 which I have going to my outlook on my personal computer at home. And 3 - Gmail account #2 which I only check through the internet.
I should be getting an email on my third account everytime someone posts to a thread I've subscribed to on HoFo... which is often enough for me to know that it's not being sent through to my BB.
Any advice? Interestingly enough, I'm able to send emails from my BB and they are recieved just fine, however I cannot seem to retrieve them.

I hadn't done your #1 option until now. Technically, what does that do for me? Shouldn't it have been registered already?!
I had removed all my email accounts and re-added them. That seemed to work for about 12 hours yesterday morning. Since around noon or so yesterday I haven't been able to receive any emails.
What are service books? I noticed that in the "advanced options" too. They remove themselves when I delete one of my email addresses. And then re-add themselves when I register that email address again.

Texts not coming through

I'm having a problem at the moment where I'm receiving texts from people but not until a lot later. E.g. I got a text through 50mins after the person had sent it despite having signal and later ee wifi call. Also having an issue with the fact that my texts are not always sending or they are but saying they haven't delivered so I resend them and it ends up coming through to a persons phone several times.

The first thing I'd try is a network reset by going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings and follow the prompts until your iPhone reboots.
if the problem continues, next I'd try replacing the SIM card. Calling in to your nearest EE store is the quickest and easiest a way to do this where they will switch everything over to a new SIM card for you.
Just out of interest, does this happen everywhere you go or just in one particular location?

Changing Fonts to a new font not defined in OBIEE

We are doing a rebranding of our company and we would like to use a new font for all of our reporting. This font is not one that is currently listed in OBIEE. I have the .otf files, I am hoping these read the same as .ttf files, but I don't know where to place them nor can I find where to define them so the Dashboard, Answers and the pdf write picks them up.

I'm afraid this will be very hard to implement. In fact, it hasn't much to do with OBIEE, but with your browser. The problem is that GillSans is not a standard font in a browser. So even when you edit all your css files and set GillSans as the default font, it won't be used because GillSans isn't implemented as a font in your browser.
