New forum not very user friendly (to me anyway!)
I may be missing the obvious. If anyone can post some pointer on how to use this new forum, I'd be greatful. Issues I have are:
1) I can't seem to tell which threads have new posts since my last visit. Some say "updated" after the title, but some which should be updated according to when the last post was don't say so, and vice versa.
2) Is there a way to get directly to the unread posts without having to go through the thread from the top?
3) Is there a way to navigate to other posts without having to return to the top of the thread?
These are just a few problems I'm having so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the only thing I found remotely better, was the ability to upload jpg and screenshots... but the rest leaves a lot to be desired.
For example, when scrolling through the 50 or so posts on one page -> Then you press next -> next -> next page until you're at page 19... and find a post that seems exciting at the headline, you click it, and read it and find that "naaah, it wasn't about what I thought it was..." then you go back...
and voila!
You end up at page one again!!!!! Havin to klick - perhaps - 19 times next until you get to the next page, if you hade the abilitly to remember on what page that last post where... I mean, c'mon. Adobe.... ?! This huge giant have such lame forum technology?

There isn't any way to have a 6 digit numerical password -- as you already found. With the amount of password hacking going on currently, I suspect that if you were able to change it back you would be putting your account at a significant risk. I bought an itune gift card but my sister never received her email. I can not easily find where to resend. I did send an email for help but this is just not very 'slick' or user friendly. How can I get her itune CHRISTMAS gift card re-sent?
Having the same issue. My bank account has already been charged, but I can't find the purchase anywhere in my Apple account history to retrieve a code, and my son still has not received an email. This is not cool. I'm beginning to understand why so many people dislike the company.

Verizon not very user friendly
I am the account owner and have a second line on my account. Verizon consistently sends their notifications to the second account - not to my phone. The second number is not monitored when that user is out of town. Why can't Verizon send all the account related texts, etc to MY number instead?? I have asked this repeatedly and the response has ranged from "we will take care of that right now" all the way through "you are listed as the account owner so that is the number we use". If Verizon can't get this one simple thing correct I don't think I will be a customer when this contract is up
I repeat - I have contacted Financial Services on more than one occasion. I have been promised it would be changed, I have been told "that is just the way it is" and the latest response was "we can call any number on your account that we choose to". I think I have done more than enough to get this taken care of and it has not done one bit of good. It is nice that you seem to be concerned BUT the problem still exists. Concern is nice but actual follow through is what I really need and I just don't see that forthcoming.

I had the trouble that if an old #4 or #5 was installed, a full iTunes install did not work.

so annoyed with this new itunes, spent over 2 hrs to get one ringtone on iphone,why apple has to make it so complicated, on samsung just a push of button ringtone or music is on ur phone... i think its time to say good bye to iphone... Not a user friendly...
Highly recommended for samsung galaxy S4....hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

I was found I pad Air is not that user friendly than I pad 4 even I pad 2, as I was a TaoBao (www.taobao.com) fans and every time when I get in their link, I pad Air cannot show all the pictures on the screen and very slow. You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. Note'3 Sim Card Holder not so User Friendly..

If the holder cannot be re-inserted even without the sim card, I would suspect that the eject mechanism has to somehow be reset.

Why is the new version of Firefox so ugly and not as user friendly as the previous versions?
I've been using Firefox for years now and always loved it because of the simplicity of use and the add-ons that made my life easier. Now the major add-on that I use is no longer compatible, the new setup is visually disorienting, and apparently users have to make all kinds of adjustments to be even decently happy with their browser. Why on earth would you ever consider releasing an update that requires the users to do half the work to be satisfied with the program, or to update their OS to a system with which they're not comfortable? I switched back to 3.6 immediately, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Plan A: Simply "Enable" the menu bar again. Click on the Ugly orange button, Choose Options and then choose "Menu Bar".

I'm sure changing the theme was a point of major debate to the developers. In the end, I think they only alienated their existing userbase. If we want something that looks like Google Chrome, we'll use Google Chrome.
Google Chrome is difficult to use to the average user. Now Firefox is too. Too tech inclined. Completely out of touch with the vast majority of web users. -
New iTunes not very friendly to us people who love hip/hop
Having major issues checking on the new releases for Hip-Hop, I find everything i need when it comes to Alternative and Rock with complete ease. Bias poo poo/

Itunes is not as user friendly as it seems
i am not be able to delete unwanted apps from itunes ,its very difficult to sync pics, music and videos from computer to iphone.
Photos is not really a new version of iPhoto. It's a separate application.
You should still have iPhoto on your Mac.
Your iPhoto library should still be there in your Pictures Folder as well. -
Itunes App Store not so user friendly.
When selecting a catergory from the App Store , example Productivity , the menu shows 3 sections - New , Whats Hot and All Iphone Apps.
If I select New , Apps from several catergories are shown and not in chronological order. Sometimes apps from 2 years ago end up in this list.
This is now turning me away from buying apps as I am finding it difficult to determine whats new and whats not new.
Is this a univeral problem?Moi aussi.

Settings > General > restrictions needs a password to correct grey out. This is not my iPad password.
Forgive me for being blunt, but the fact that you cannot get songs that you did not purchase from iTunes off of a very old device - back into iTunes, isn't Apple's fault. You should be p*i*s*s*e*d at the company that you downloaded the music from or at yourself for not having the music safety backed up on your computer already, Old iPods are not storage devices, they are music playing devices.
As for restoring to factory settings, yeas you will owe everything on the iPad. That's not Apple's fault either if you didn't backup before attempting the update. You should be backing up all along just like you would do with a computer. Having all of you songs, photos, files, etc. on one device only is never a good idea.
SInce you have Find my iPad turned on in the settings, you might be able to erase it this way,

Iphoto is not as user friendly since the lasted upgrade
I have had trouble with I photo. I have a Macbook Pro. Since the newest upgrade on iPhoto I do not have access to my full range of pictures and do not know how to access them.
Photos is not really a new version of iPhoto. It's a separate application.
You should still have iPhoto on your Mac.
Your iPhoto library should still be there in your Pictures Folder as well.
