New GL - Goods Movements in only one ledger.

Hi all,
we have a scenario where we have New GL active and use the leading ledger for IFRS and other ledger for local gap.
For some material types, IFRS considers it as an inventory material but in local gaap it is consider an expense. And for a legal perspective, the inventory account must have no postings.
Is it possible to have goods movements for only one ledger?

First I feel that GL for Rawmaterial - Freight cost will not allow manual posting as automatic check is active in GL master.
Second how a multi billion dollar company manage each accounting entry for freight manually.

Did you download all 5 movies (depending on your connection, that could have taken quite some time)? Have you checked to see if they're available for download?

App got good review but only one star

Hi everyone:
I have a App in AppStore and so far got almost perfect reviews (only one 4 star, others all 5 star). Today, a user left a review which said many good things about my App. Totally positive. But he gave me only one star. I think he forgot to checked the star after writing the comments.
Is there anything I can do about this?

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do. At least anyone reading the review will realise that it is a mistake.

New Jabber user cannot see (only) one of the added buddies

Running ichat server, just a handful of OD users. OD is on the same machine as Ichat server. Nothing is limiting the use of Ichat by any of the OD users. Server G5 10.4.9, Clients managed Intel Imacs 10.4.9
Added a new user.
New user can add buddies in the Jabber List.
New user can see all but 1 of them in the List.
One of the buddies, lets say UserX, can see the new user in her Jabber List.
No matter what we have tried from within Ichat the new user cannot see UserX.
Both users are members of the same groups and have matching access abilities.
Any suggestions. Thanks for looking at this.

If I understand it this correctly, 'new user' can see all other buddies except one. And all the other users can see this buddy.
Lets call the new user "userX" and the one they cannot see "userY" and lets call your ichat server "jabber.myserver.com"
The configuration files for users buddylist is stored in the spool di rectorywhich you can find at /var/jabber/spool/. In there you will find a directory the matches the name of your ichat server. For me that is jabber.clayford.com. In this directory you will find one xml file for eash user of ichat server. Their file name is the OD logon name for the server.
Stop the ichat server service and make back up of any files you edit before you start.
Open the file for "userX.xml" In this file you will see some xml code that starts <item jid='[email protected]' subscription='xxxxxx'>. there will be a number of them, one for each buddy.
Mke sure the xxxxxx is the word 'both' [with the quotes] and if the text ask='subscribe' exists in that line before the >,remove it. So that definition should now be: <item jid='[email protected]' subscription='both'>.
Save the file and now open the file userY.xml and check that the item <item jid='[email protected]' subscription='both'> exists.
Restart the ichat server and the problem should be fixed...

New Mobile Account works on only one of two MacBook Pros

I am setting up mobile accounts for my small company. I have two accounts, two MacBook Pros and one MacMini with OS X Snow Leopard Server. One mobile account works fine on both of my portables and the other one only works on one of the portables.
On the portable that does not allow the creation of the mobile account I get a message at logon stating "Unable to create mobile account... There was a problem creating your mobile account".
The /var/log/secure.log on the MacBook Pro has these entries:
loginwindow[46]: Login Window - Returned from Security Agent
loginwindow[46]: AuthorizationRef returned an error (-60006), with username = randy.kahle
loginwindow[46]: This indicates that a SecurityAgent plugin has returned something other than errAuthorizationDenied (usually cancelled) after the auth record is set up.
All of the entries in secure.log indicate that authentication was fine and the home directory mounts occurred correctly.
Both the OS X 10.6.4 server and client have the latest software updates.

Why only one leading ledger?

I am aware that in new GL you can have only one leading ledger. you can have as many non leading ledgers. Only leading ledger values flows to CO.
what can be the possible reasons for the restriction of "only one leading ledger"???

    In New G/L, there is one leading ledger for each client that is valid for all company codes
    You can define only one ledger as the leading ledger u2013 SAP provides the leading ledger u201C0Lu201D
    The leading ledger is integrated with all subsidiary ledgers
    Only the values from the leading ledger are sent to CO
    The leading area in Asset Accounting (depreciation area 01) must be posted to the leading ledger
    Leading ledger uses the (additional) local currencies assigned to the company code
    Leading ledger uses the GL Total Table: FAGLFLEXT
In each company code, the settings made for the following parameters are automatically applied to the leading ledger:
    Currencies
    Fiscal Year Variant
    Posting Period Variant

After upgrading to IOS 5.0.1 my music and movies are gone - I have only one song. Sync does not put my media back

I upgraded my Iphone4 to IOS 5.0.1 when plugged into my fully-patched OS X Lion-version Mac. I no longer have any movies and only one song on my phone. Itunes says I have all of my movies and music, but my phone does not show it. I do have my books (but not audiobooks)

I made a work around. Set my phone to not sync music and movies in itunes. Sync phone. Set my phone to sync music and movies in itunes. Sync phone.
It is very time consuming though.
And, what else is set incorrectly somewhere and I do not know it? There was also a very weird glitch - where "Albums" is listed in when running the music app in IOS5 (5.0.1), it instead had had the name of the one song! That is now also fixed.

Randomly slow, yet consistently slow, performance on only one project

After reading through many of the FAQs before posting this, I'm still at a loss for a solution though I admit I haven't exhausted all of my options just yet (I'm waiting on the more drastic ones - like throwing the computer).
I can scrub and play without problem, but any time I alter anything (trim, delete, even razor a clip in the timeline) Premiere hangs for about 2 minutes after that mouse click... and any mouse click aside from play/stop. I've been editing 1080p .mov files shot from a Canon 7d for a couple months now (my free time is rather limited). I'm using an iMac with OS X (3.06 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 800 MHz, etc.) and I've double checked that all updates for it and CS5 are up to date. The source files are kept on an external raid drive attached via USB 2.0 and I haven't had any issues. I know these factors break multiple rules listed in this forum, but, like I said, I haven't had any problem 'till about 48 hours ago and without obvious cause.
Since then, I've run multiple cache cleaners, virus software, etc., I've re-saved under different names, I've copied and pasted everything into new projects, I've copied the source files onto my internal drive (effectively giving me far less than the suggested 20% free space necessary, though) and reassigned them to a duplicate project, and I've tried beginning from scratch with importing only a few of the .mov files from my shoot into a new project. Unfortunately, the only one that has not repeated the problem is the last option. I'd rather not have to start editing from scratch. I refused to believe there is simply too much information in the timeline (barely 20 minutes with maybe a hundred cuts from about 50 or so separate source files). My only thoughts at this point are that the footage became corrupt (then why can I still edit it from a brand new project?), the computer has an undetectable virus (why does anything else beside this project, or projects with matching timelines, work?), my software/hardware is inadequate (nothing changed within the last week, or since the beginning of my project).
Do I need to uninstall and reinstall? Do I need to go back down to CS3, which never gave me such problems? Do I need to make the switch to Final Cut because I've just about had it with Premiere's difficulties?
I really hope there's an obvious solution that I've overlooked. Or any solution...

Which version of Premiere Pro are you running? CS5, 5.0.2, or 5.0.3? What kind of video card is installed? If you are on a Mac with an ATI card and running Premiere Pro 5.0.2, or 5.0.3, reinstall Premiere Pro CS5 and leave it at v. 5.0. Do not update it.
Another possibility is a corrupt sequence. Can you copy/paste your clips from your master sequence to a new one with the same settings. Try that.
You should also know that your system really needs upgrading, or you'll continue to have problems like this. USB 2.0 is much, much too slow for the files you wish to play back. Upgrade to an external FW800 drive and your situation will improve. Also bump up the RAM to max out your iMac (8 or 16 GB) for a better editing experience.
In comparing Premiere Pro CS5 and CS3 versions, CS5 will need more resources because of its nature as a 64 bit application. You'll definitely need a lot more RAM for the system to operate as you would expect it.

Default or fixed Batch number in all goods movement???

Hi Experts,
Expecting to through light on the below and provide a solution.
We have requirement that for a material a default batch to be created as 000
and assigned . The same should flow automatically in all the Business
Transactions Like Production Order , Goods Issue, Goods Receipt , Sloc
Transfer etc.
Can anyone suggest the batches created for a material in Tcode : MSC1N only
to be allowed in any goods movement transaction.
One requirement Pl. except the Feild exit any other suggestions.

check the spro settings at Logistic General ---> Batch Management ---> Define Batch creation for goods movement, here you remove automaic batch creation and select proper manual assignment that suits to your requirement. If is manual only tnen yoy can assign your own batch,

MIGO Goods movements issue

Hello,
We are trying to do good movement using BADI for 101 Movement type for a Storage location .
Is it possible to do regular MIGO along with BADI ?
Do we need to activate this sloc as centralized WHS ?
How to control the error message and re trigger the goods movement ?
Any one who experienced during Post support or implementations, please share your experience .

Hello,
If you want to post MIGO with 101 then use Functional module "MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT" followed by "MB_POST_GOODS_MOVEMENT" with COMMIT WORK. This will create and post GR with 101. Take help from technical expert (ABAPer).
Do we need to activate this sloc as centralized WHS ? If your client have warehouse management then you need to activate SLoc for WMS, else not required.
How to control the error message and re trigger the goods movement ? This will be taken care by technical expert.

RRAS issue - only one client can connect?

Hello, I have set up my server 2012 standard server and set it up as a DC and RRAS server, the VPN works perfectly but only one user can use it, the second user will always get error 800. there are enough IP slots in the LAN and it is correctly assigning
a new IP address to each new user that connects, but only one can connect at a time without error - I have searched around and couldnt find anything conclusive - is this a licensing or configuration issue?

As far as I know, it’s not recommended to install RRAS server role on DC, since it would make the DC multi-homed.
I suggest you install RRAS server role on another server.

Enable Goods Movement Error Handling on Inventory Management

Hello gurus.
The Production department uses transaction COGI (Automatic Goods Movement Error Handling) to track what automatic goods issues were not performed due to errors like stock deficit, etc.
My question is; is it possible to use this same COGI transaction to store manual goods movements that also end up in an error?
For example, if I go to MIGO and I perform a Goods Issue with Movement Type 201; if I don't have enough stock of the material, normally I get an error and I cannot continute; instead I want the movement to fail and go to transaction COGI, where I can deal with it later.
The main goal is not to interrupt the capture of the Goods Issues, if there is not enough stock in the system, the person should not stop to correct the error. It's something that is desired to deal with later.
Any possibilities that you see?

COGI transaction is Goods movements error status while process order or production order level.
If Goods are not avaiable in store/warehouse, how to post thru' 201 movement. In case stock is avaiable goods movements are only thru' 261 movement.

hi philly, thanks for getting back to me, especially on such a busy day.
I don't think that's quite the issue though. I bought an album and it appears in 'my purchases' within the itunes app. Yet, in order to listen to the music, i must use the 'music' app and in this application, there are only three tracks displayed at any one time from my downloaded album.
I can 'download all' from the 'my purchases' section but that still doesn't help, it just keeps the last three tracks downloaded in the music app.
I have the 'icloud' enabled and wondered if it had anything to do with that.
i have successfully downloaded another full album totally into the music app, but this first album is causing me problems.
