New GT70 - GTX 680M not visible?

I just got my GT70 out of the box. It has the GTX680M. When I run dxdiag as well as Window Performance it doesnt show up. This seems concerning that a brand new laptop isnt setup correctly. I saw on the boards there may be some issues with the latest nVidia drivers and Windows 8?Any ideas on how to remedy this? I am not sure simply installing drivers new drivers will cause it to show up as it already has drivers installed and the system should recognize this. Any guidance is appreciated before I jump to conclusions about a more severe issue.

that gaming Graphics means its the 680m score. if you really concerned about seeing your gtx on screen check system information from control panel administrative tools. Dxdiag is just basic does not show everything. And scoring 7.1 in windows index with igp is not possible so your gaming graphic card is fine and running. There is nothing wrong with your nb.

I don't understand why this is so difficult.
To me I have done everything correctly.
I have a Service Ticket Transaction visible in the WEB IC.
I now want to make it visible for use in the WEB UI, I have set the channel to WEB UI.
Yet when I try to create a new Service Ticket from the Service Professional Role under Service Order the Transaction is not visible. Yet I can can search for the Transactions created in the WEB IC from the WEB UI without an issue.

Solved
I needed to add the Service Ticket Object Create option into the Navigation Bar Generic OP Mapping Option.
After that the Transaction Type was visible.

New role with workbooks not visible

Dear all,
I have something strange. I created a role and I saved workbooks in it.
When I create a new workbook and save, I can see this role and I can save the workbook in my role (this role is assigned to me).
However, when I reopen the workbook, I go to the Role tab but I have nothing: no role and thus no workbook.
Do you have any idea?

Hi Ric,
I know that behavior from my own experience. Up to now I just came up with a workaround solution. When you want to open the saved workbook, you can go to "Search" tab where you can search for the workbook description. This search seems to be case sensitive, so be careful with that.
If someone else found another solution I am interested in that, too.

New custom web form not visible in the menu.

Hello WPC Experts,

After the "3.2.6 Referencing the XML File in the Document Type" step and restarting the server, I don't see the web form I just created.
I have the wpc_editor_role assigned. Where should I be looking to access the new web form.

Thanks for your response. I was working on other issues. I confirmed that I enabled "Generate UI-command" for my new Web Resource Type.
I deleted the xml/xsl files and recreated them by copying from the how to guide: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/2041eb17-6001-2b10-b08d-b95ce55fa9b7
After referencing the xml/xsl files and restarting the portal, where should I check for the new web form I just created ( this is section "4. Result" in the how to guide).

Files moved to new MAC but many not visible in library

I recently moved my iTunes folder from an older Mac (iTunes 6.0.3) into the new Mac with iTunes 8.0.2. All folders and files transferred, but only about half are showing up in the library. There also missing playlists, although many did appear. In case it is relative, very few of my songs were purchased at the iTunes store. Any thoughts on how to make the missing files and playlists active?

If the files have just been placed in the iTunes folder & never opened/played, it's likely that iTunes hasn't "seen" them yet & this is probably why they aren't appearing in your library.

New clusternode in iManager not visible

Hi guys,
I am currently migrating our NetWare 6.5 cluster to OES2.
I added my first OES2 node to the cluster, everything went fine.
Only the cluster node doesn't show up in iManager, it does in ConsoleOne.
Running the "cluster view" and "cluster info all" it all looks fine.
Am I missing something, can it be fixed without restarting the cluster?

Normally the iManager stuff uses cimom to talk to the cluster, and in a mixed node (or if using iMan on OES2 Linux against a NW cluster) you have to make sure that:
a) the master cluster node has a replica of the partition holding the cluster object
and
b) that cimomd.nlm is running on all your NW nodes
Otherwise it can take a really long time for things to show up (in my case, I have 16 nodes and it took maybe 2-3 minutes after the server was rebooted before it showed up in the cluster view)
And that's WITH a R/W replica on the Master node.

Field not visible when uploading the file in application ser

I have added a new field at the end of a structure and When i upload the data in the application server it is not visible there. The new field length is 30chars(say field 'A') and the one just before this one is 250 chars(say field 'B'). When i reduce the length of field 'B' to 30 chars or 40 chars the value which i populated in field 'A' is visble in the output file.
Since the complete file was not visible in AL11 transaction, i used the CG3Y tcode as well to download the data to presentation server so that i can view the complete file. Even after downlaoding in presentation server the new field value is not visible.
Can anyone please suggest why is the value in field 'A' not visible when the length of field 'B' is 250 chars? Also, how can i display the value of the new field in the application server.I cannot change the layout of the structure as per the requirement. Any help will be very useful.

-after uploading the file check the file in OS level(goto SM69, execute CAT, in additional parameter (not in parameter) give the full path (case sensitive), execute. ). here you can see the actual content of the file... check you data is present or not
-which structure are you using to download and upload? a temp work area.. then please provide the WA details, so that i can try on my system.
lets see what happens next
one more thing: regarding AL11, it can read upto length 510 characters. check program RSWATCH0 form SHOW_FILE. here the read dataset into butffer is 510 characters.

Custom Timer Jobs not visible in Central Admin Job Definitions

I have multiple custom timer jobs which I was using on old farm, and it was successfully working and was visible in the Central Admin Job Definitions.
But ever since I moved to new farm, by restoring the site collections from old to new farm, and deployed the custom timer jobs on new farm, they are not visible in Central Admin Job Definitions.
I tried to change the scope of the solution to "Web Application", and deployed it's wsp in new farm, then also they are not visible in Job Definitions. But I can see them in "Farm Solutions", they have been successfully deployed.
Please suggest what should I do.

New RPD deployment is not effective

We have recently upgraded from obiee 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.6.
Now when ever we deploy a new RPD through EM, it says changes made successfully in EM and restarts services fine.
But when we check the RPD from application, the new rpd changes are not visible.
What could be the problem.

That is what the issue is. In Em name is new but actually that repository is not copied to repository folder on server.
During my testing I have found the following possible cause:
Actions in EM Corresponding Mbean actions
--Lock and Edit=> Lock method of mbean oracle.biee.admin called successfully
--Brwose and Apply=> uploadRepository method of same mbean called successfully
--New Repository successfully gets written to ServerConfiguration Mbean attribute successfully
--Activate Changes=> commit of the mbean called successfully and biee-domain.xml gets updated with new RPDName
--The new RPD gets copied as biee_data.zip on the server successfully
Issues start from here.
The new RPD should be copied from biee_data.zip to repository folder and NQSConfig.INI should be updated with new RPDName which is not happening.
I think there is some mbean responsible for this step that is not working or not present. Also I think the mbean missing is
oracle.as.management.mbeans.opmn:Location=AdminServer,name=instance1,type=opmn
as this is present in one environment and not in other.
Any suggestion? I dont want to do things manually, want EM to perform the steps it is missing.
Any safe way to get this mbean and not effect the overall configuration.

Captivate 5.5 published files are not visible in Fire Fox or open in new window.

When I publish and post Captivate 5.5, the HTML or the swf files do not display in Fire Fox (latest version) without forcing the file to open in a new window (if it displays at all). If it does work, the Flash security blocks the swf on an ugly view until the user clicks.
I thought it was because I have to assign a direct URL to each component, but all of the other Captivate sites I have reviewed have the same issue when viewing in Fire Fox.
IE will display after the active x is authorized (I can live with that).
You Tube and other Flash display properly in Fire Fox, just not Captivate products.
I have disabled off all plugins, modified the protected settings, and everything I could find listed in the Fire Fox help. I have installed a previous version of Flash and Shockwave Player. Short of reinstalling windows, it is not working and that will not help because the published content is not visible on any other machine in the office or at home.
The files are in a Portal, so I cannot share them unless you are in the DoD and have an AKO or DKO account.
However, here is another example of the Captivate not working.

Any of the DAU games, if they display. It is a government site, so they have the standard gov garbage (stuff not working like certificates), but nothing is harmful nor can they do anything to track other than the current session.
It is kind of weird how the content is displayed... It is not an intranet, it goes to a limited access portal. When I store content, it uses an absolute path instead of relative path. Very aggrevating when using many of the tools for non-programmers (like me), and probably more aggrevating for programmers.
Whether I point directly to the .swf or to the generated HTML, the content displays in IE, but not in FF.
It may be a combination of FF and Captivate. FF seems rather flaky in dealing with swf files. There is the consideration for add-ons, but I tried on a newly imaged computer and it still was not working. Even after going through all of the FF steps to get it to work.
Basically we had to create a new HTML file to display the content because the Captivate published files don't work. However, the new HTML does not reference the XML files.
When I publish, I get 5 different files, .swf, .htm, .js, and 2 .xml. When I dig through the code (once again, not a programmer, soo I may be missing something), even round tripping to Flash, I do not see how the .xml files are referenced at all.
These may be different topics, not sure, it came up because I am trying to get a simple solution from the product that can be easily transferred to our production servers and available for Solders to access.

New folder is not visible inside my project but shows in Windows Explorer.

I created a new folder under another folder. The new folder is not visible inside my project but shows in Windows Explorer. Also, if I try to add another folder of that same name, it denies the action since the folder (although invisible) already exists. My co-worker can access the same file (on a share drive) and see the new folder just fine. This error occurs whether I was the one creating the new folder or she is the one creating the new folder. I am new to RoboHelp and she has used it for years. I suspect something is not yet set up right on my side. Ideas? (I thought I posted this yesterday but I can't find it anywhere)

Hi Larry. I see. It is a file I have worked on previously, and the font is Myriad which I though came with the system. I just changed to Myriad Pro and the pink box disappeared. Thanks for the assistance, I know a new thing!

New objects not visible in report objectpicker

Hi, I'm new to SCOM so please forgive me if I say something wrong.
We are using SCOM 2007 R2.
In Operations Console I've created 2 new Web Applications in Authoring view.
In Reporting view I open Availability report from Microsoft Generic Report Library
Click Add Object
Search for Web Application I've created and get nothing
For some reason I see only old objects when search or view all available in report. I tried to use old Management Package and created my own (I thought the problem was in sealed MP, but my new is unsealed). Found similar problem in "Missing Objects
in Report Objectpicke" question, but we have less than 100 monitoring agents.
So I have no idea why objects are not visible, could you please help?

Verify from Group {contain all computers that you want} that using in Reporting.
