Tax number letter. Legal changes in Spain

Dear all,
Due to legal changes in Spain my company has to change the letter of our tax number (CIF) from 1st of January.
We have implemented notes: 1157769, 1180074 and 1235175. We have change the letter of the tax number of our company.
We have to post document in 2008 with the old tax number and in 2009 with the new tax number.
I do not know if I can keep the same company and change the letter of the tax number (cif) or I have to create a new company with the new number

Thanks for your fast response. I read before this note and other related notes, the problem is that the new spanish law expand the conditions-combination of this numbers+letters for identification number, so I think only development (official or unofficial) is possible to support this new features. I think the verification rules must be coded-upgraded (because of the new algorithm sense), that's the reason because SAP maybe could provide an official patch.

Implementing Country legal changes for US/Canada/Australia

Hello Experts,
We need your expertise advice in implementing Country Legal Changes for US/Canada/Australia.
Currently we are at HRSP 29, implemented HRSP41 in this week and implementing HRSP 42 in next month, Can you please advice us are there any specific notes related to Country Legal Changes needs to be implemented (manually and automatically with HRSP42)?
Any help would be appreciated!!!

Since you are talking of HRSP 41, you should be on SAP_HR EnhP6.04.
You should visit service.sap.com/hrcanada to read on what notes must be applied after the base HRSP (or CLC). If I remember correctly, the "Year-End Note for Canada" should be available on December 1st, and if required, a Delta Note will become available mid-December. There may also be individual Notes to apply up to late February if some things need to be corrected for the T4/T4A process (Forms, Magmedia, etc...).
You should also visit service.sap.com/hrusa for information on US Year-end, and the ERP HCM Payroll North America discussion forum (SAP ERP HCM Payroll North America).
As for Australia, the SAP Service Marketplace webpage (when you visit /hrcanada or /hrusa) has a "menu" on the left hand side of the page where you could follow SAP ERP Human Capital Management > Country Information > Asia-Pacific > Australia.
An other source of information may be the Wikis on the Country's Payroll (http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPHCM/ERPHumanCapital+Management)

SCM CLC(Country Legal Changes) component

Hi,
Currently our system is using SP SAP_HR component level 30 and since last year SAP introduces new concept for CLC(country legal changes) which separates country specific changes to new components (SAP_HRCxx, eg SAP_HRCSG for Singapore).
I have checked that we have to upgrade SAP_HR support package at least up to level 31.
Does it mean once we upgrade to level 31, I'll automatically get the country specific component SAP_HRCxx? or I need to download n install them manually after upgrading SAP_HR lv 31?

1- Software Subcomponents of the Softwarecomponents SAP_HR and EA-HR will be introduced

    o SAP_HRRXX                International functions reused by countries (for US, SAP_HRRUS)
    o SAP_HRGXX                General International functions without any country dependencies
    o EA-HRC<ISOcode>         Country subcomponent, EA-HRCAR e.g.
    o EA-HRRXX                International functions reused by countries (for US, EA-HRRUS)
    o EA-HRGXX                General International functions without any country dependencies
2- If you download SAP_HR SP29 you will automatically download SAPK-60429INSAPHRCUS for US country.

The Major Difference is :
a) When AT NEW occurs,
the alpha-numeric fields have ******* in their value,
b) where as in case of ON CHANGE,
the alpha-numeric fields have their corresponding value,
of that particular record,
where the Event gets fired.
Other differences are :
ON CHANGE OF can be used any where in the program..
on change of differs from at new in the following respects:
1.It can be used in any loop construct, not just loop at. For example, it can be used within select and endselect, do and enddo, or while and endwhile, as well as inside get events.
2.A single on change of can be triggered by a change within one or more fields named after of and separated by or. These fields can be elementary fields or field strings. If you are within a loop, these fields do not have to belong to the loop.
3.When used within a loop, a change in a field to the left of the control level does not trigger a control break.
4.When used within a loop, fields to the right still contain their original values; they are not changed to contain zeros or asterisks.
5.You can use else between on change of and endon.
6.You can use it with loop at it where . . ..
7.You can use sum with on change of. It sums all numeric fields except the one(s) named after of.
8.Any values changed within on change of remain changed after endon. The contents of the header line are not restored as they are for at and endat.

New excise rate changes

Hi,
As per the new excise rate changes ie, 14 to 10%, i have changed the % in FV12 with valid date. Issue is
when i post GR my old po's, system is taking 10% instead of 14%.. whn i change the posting date before 7/12, it's giving 14%..
If i want to control by doc date instead of posting date, how to carry out??? i did the blw step but its picking 10% only.. pls guide how to take frm doc date??

As per standard process system will pick 10% as excise rate beacuse you are making GR on todays date. Similarly if vendor has supplied the material after 07/12 then he must charge the excise as 10% only. And if he has supplied the material before 07/12 say 05/12 then you please enter the posting date in GR as 05/12 system will pick as 14%.
It will be better to use the default settings as this problem will be only for pending GR's.

1099M - 2008 Legal changes for 1099 Reporting

Hello experts,
I have been using program RFW1099M via Sapscript form to generate the 1099M. Based on note 1279366 on 2008 legal changes for 1099 reporting, sap provided the 1099MISC form in Smartforms.
I don't use Smartforms. Is there any sap 1099M program provided using Smartforms ?
The sapscript form i currently have looks the same as the 2008 1099Misc. So I don't know why i have to use Smartforms. Pls let me know what you think ?
