New In-Ear with Radio Remote Controll compatible?

Hi.
Does some one knows if this works?
Ipod Video -> Radio Remote Controll -> New In-Ear Headphones.
Thanks!

They will give you audio. But the remote and mic will not work.
The new in - ear headphones only will give you remote and mic capabilities with a 4th gen nano (tall screen), ipod classic (120 gb) or 2nd gen ipod touch (volume rocker)

  • New in-ear headphone NOT COMPATIBLE with RADIO remote!!!

I bought some days ago on the apple store the new in-ear headphone but it seems that are not compatible with radio remote control.
Infact if I connect them, the volume is very very very low. The volume is correct only if I take out just a bit the jack from the radio remote or if the central button of the "in-ear headphone" is hold down pressed.
Do you know something about this problem? Because these headphones are NOT very cheap and nothing is indicated on the apple store.
    Thanks!!!

According to the description, it is supposed to work as normal earbuds when connected to older iPod models. So it seems like it should work that way with a Radio Remote. You said it works properly if it is not pushed in all the way? Maybe the one you have has a minor defect. If you bought it online, you may want to call the customer service number at shown at the upper left corner of the online Apple Store web page and see what they can do about it.

  • Is the Touch compatible with the old radio/remote control?

I was wondering if anyone knew if the new Touch was compatible with the clip-on FM radio/remote control

(it plugs into the dock connector) I would like to be able to control my iPod without taking it out of my pocket. Thanks in advance!

    boooooo...!
well, i'm a little disappointed. at least they added the Home Button doubletap feature. I guess I'll just memorize the button layout i've been using a touch-sensitive 3G iPod for 3 years+, so i'm not a stranger to that kind of thing
and wait for a third-party solution
    thanks for your help

i have the new iMac with OS X 10.8.3 i want to conner it with apple remote control i don't know how

    I have a Mac Book Pro 2008
I have my MBP paired with Apple TV  and use it all the time
My only complaint is that when I use the Apple TV remote it sometimes turns things off and on in iTunes.
Besides all the options from Apple TV I can listen to anything on my mac over my TV surround system thru Apple TV

  • Can you manually advance a Captivate slide presentation with a remote control and a projector.

I have published a large volument of PowerPoint presentations with Captivate 5.0 and intend to distribute the presentations to live instructors as a means to control content delivered live by instructors to the students.  The files are aggregrated into groups of lessons and published to PDF with a Table of Contents.
We need to avoid manually advancing the show from the laptop.
Having difficulty determining how to use remote control via laptop and projector to advance the next slide or presentation. Can't get it to work. Was able to do so previously with PowerPoint slides converted to PDF shows. Remotes/Laser pointers worked fine. But now that I have processed the shows through Captivate 5.0 can seem to find a remote that will work with the new PDF or SWF with our systems.
We use a laptop and projection system, so need to be able to advance the show to the next "slide" manually and are trying to figure out how to do it with a remote control.
Has anyone else experienced this challenge and did you find a solution?.

    Hi Carey,
if you can apply the letter "A" for "next" to your remote control?
Then you could add a shortcut to your buttons in the captivate file.
    In deapth:
Go to a PPT importet slide (using the "click mouse" option to continue".
Click somewhere in the screen (clickbox_xx will be selected).
Properties - Action - Shortcut. Click it and press "A".
    Click somewhere on the stage.
Now when you press your next button on the remote, Captivate will receive an "A" and continue to the next slide.
    Hope this helps

  • How do I match encore buttons with my remote control

So, I've made a menu in Encore and when I build the DVD and put it in my DVD player, the buttons don't work how I want them to with my remote control. For example, on the main menu (which I created in After Effects) I have two buttons (one above the other) - "Play" and "Chapters." To go from Play to Chapters on the main menu, I have to push the right arrow button on the remote instead of the down button.
Another example is my chapters menu (created with an Encore menu). I have 6 chapters buttons, plus a "next" and "main menu" button. The logical thing to do with the remote is press the down button when you want the one below, right when you want the button on the right etc. etc. but instead it's all mixed up.
Hopefully that makes sense . . . so how to I tell encore which button on the remote I want to be pressed to go to the desired button on the menu?

It is called "button routing." When the buttons are nicely lined up, "automatic" (the default) usually works well. But sometimes not. Also, if you move buttons around, you can change the numbering.
In the menu viewer, click on the icon for "routing." This will show you what "number" each button is, and what number button each remote arrow click will go to.
You can turn automatic routing off, and drag these numbers to set the remote as you wish.

    1) When I go to the apple.com website my computer will either be really slow or freeze my whole system down to where I have to reboot my computer again. This does not happen all the time but when it does operate it is molasses slow.
By any chance, are you uswing Kaspersky security software?
    If so, see:

  • Does anyone know if the iHome stereo IDL100G stereo system comes with a remote control?

    Hi all,
I am new to the site. I hope I am posting this in the correct forum section. I am looking to purchase an iOS 7 compatible stereo system that serves as both dock and charging station WITH a remote that I can use while the devices are charging/playing. I have looked high and low and cannot seem to locate much info at all. I see that Apple.com has the iHome IDL100G which can be used with lightning cable Apple devices but since the update of iOS7 I am unsure if the stereo system would be compatible. Is this stereo 1) MFI-compliant 2)iOS7 compatible 3) able to charge multiple iOS7 devices simultaneous 4) and has an independent remote of the actual iOS device that allows one to control music queues while the devices are charging?
    Thank you in advance.

  • Can I use non-apple earphones with radio remote?

I have a new Ipod 3g and want to buy the radio remote. Must I use the earbuds supplied with the radio remote or can I use non-apple earbuds and earphones? Will I still get good radio reception with a non-apple earphone?

Yes you can. I use Sennheiser PX100's and they work just fine.
Plug the headphones into the remote rather than the iPod to get the best reception.

  • An issue with the remote control

The remote control works with other programs, however its doesn't when I use it with Front row. I have paired it with the Imac(10.6.4), it also works ok with the Macbook.
Any suggestions what may be the problem and how to fix it?
    Thanks in adv

No not yet, I have two Apple TV's, one was connected directly to my time Capsule in the lounge, the other was connected in the bedroom via WiFi through an Airport express that is located a few metres away.
What happened was that when I got the new replacement Apple TV I fitted this to the main TV due to the new 1080p HD facility.  I then took the Apple TV that was in the lounge and working perfectly well and resited it in the bedroom.
It was then that the fault appeared again, so it either means that the fault is on the WiFi side or the HDMI lead I suppose.
The confusion came when the genius said that it wouldnt matter about the WiFi connection.
I will check with a different HDMI Lead if you think it may be that.
    thank you for your help

Sorry, I don't have the NXT toolkit, but just looking at your code for 10 seconds, you have two different version of the state enum that are not really compatible (look for the red coecion to at the left shift register).

  • Radio remote control

The classic concept of an audio installation is replaced by a new one.
Content is more important as is easy access to that content.
There are various solutions from consumer electronic companies.
Increasingly HDD are used to store the content.
I would like to store the content in one place in the house and connect to an audio system or systems via a docking station.
And distribute via wifi or wires.
The iPod is an interesting possibility to store the content and get easy access.
But I would need a remote control that is radio based and not infra red; and that works throughout the house to make may selection for content.
Is there anything like that? Or is there anything like that foreseen in the near future?
    Thanks

  • URGENT:  Error while deploying ear with weblogic service control

We have build an ear within workshop and deployed to another server. When accessing the application we are getting the following error:
'com.bea.control.ServiceControlException: Could not find service ref in jndi: java:comp/env/service/hhs_wc_controls_SearchServiceControl[javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: While trying to look up comp/env/service/hhs_wc_controls_SearchServiceControl in /app/webapp/WCWeb/5120123.; remaining name 'comp/env/service/hhs_wc_controls_SearchServiceControl'] '
The service control is connecting a WSDL to consume a web service.
Does the service control create a JNDI entry or some file is not getting built into the ear?
    We are using WLP 10.3
    Your help is much appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Hi Shankar
When a WebService Control is created based on .wsdl file, it generates a .JAR file with all jaxb generated classes and .java files with service and port classes. This .jar file will be under web-inf/lib folder. Then I guess you are using this WebService control in your Pageflow and invoke webservice operations. So do you have like a portlet for this pageflow and testing from a portal. I have a similar scenario but I did not get any error that you are seeing. I consume SOA BPEL webservices in one of my pageflows using Service Controls.
To debug, first test if the wsdl is working by directly invoking the wsdl operations using a utility servlet by name "wls_utc" which you can invoke from any of your wls/wlp domain. Start your domain assuming localhost and port is 7001. The url for testing webservices is:
http://localhost:7001/wls_utc. This works if domain is in Dev Mode only. This page opens a jsp page, where you can type your wsdl url (http://host:port/context/a/b/xyx?wsdl). This page parses that wsdl and shows all operations and for each operation the fields for input parameters. See if this wsdl works fine.
As for deployment, there is no additional step required. Just ear your application that has .war file and that has web-inf/lib folder with actual webservice control generate .jar file. I did no tconfigure any additional JNDI lookups like that.
    Thanks

  • N80IE Problem with Nokia Remote Control Headset AD...

Guys,do you have this AD-41 Remote Control Headphone, found in N73 Music Edition Phones,on your N80? My problem is that, I cant remotely play a song by simply pressing the PLAY Button on it... But before I bought this headset for my N80 I check first the Nokia web site, its says that it is COMPATIBLE... Is there something missing? Like, do I need to install a certain app so that it would work? Or, Its just like, I can't do it in N80?

Hi, Ryan. Look, I have now an N73; but before I had an N80 and guess what: I had the same problem as you. I sent an e-mail to Nokia, and what did they say in the e-mail they sent back? "The compatibility between your device and your hands-free is PARTIAL, sir.". What the **bleep**?!!... Yes, it's not fully compatible. You don't need any software or setup in the phone... You (and I) need light the Nokia's offices on fire...

  • PlayBook: Dock with HDMI + Remote Control?

Has anyone a idea, where to buy a dock with hdmi? Always putting cables to the device is so 80s... i want to put it to the dock only.
Does anyone know, if its planet to sell some kind of a remote control for the PlayBook? I read, some guys are using 30 or 40 ft cables to watch videos across the living room... but thats a bad joke! As an alternative to a hardware remote, i would use vnc-server for PB, but thats not available today.
    Any suggestions?

I know it was not your question but you can also use your PlayBook as an XBMC remote control:
