New Info Tab information not syncing

I just got an ipod (nano fourth generation) and itunes for the first time. Since I wanted everything organized, I went through and changed the info tabs to all my music while in Itunes and the synced. Unfortunately my ipod doesn't seem to have added all the new info tab information (artist, genre, etc.) that I added and is still going by the old information.
Any suggestions?

I found the following in another discussion thread:
If you use OS X Mavericks v.10.9 or later, your contacts, calendars, and other info are updated on your computers and iOS devices via iCloud. For more information, see iCloud Help at icloud.com. (http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12117)
Since I do not use cloud computing for security reasons, I will not be syncing my contacts or calendars between devices. I hope the Apple developers rethink this strategy. Meanwhile I'll figure out a work-around as I have in the past when software has an unfortunate glitch.

INFO tab items not staying checked or syncing

Ever since I updated to Software version 4.0, anything on the info tab does not work. All other tabs work fine.
When I first connect, the iphone sync's and backups ok. But if I try to check anything on the info tab... ie: Sync Contacts with... or Sync Mail Acounts from... as soon as I hit APPLY, the check boxes UNCheck and then it backs up, then starts to sync, then ends with the error box saying...
"itunes could not sync information to the iphone (my iphone) because a sync session could not be started."
Although all other tabs work fine, stay checked and sync ok.
Anyone else seeing this?

Does anyone know if there is already a topic on this issue?

My new Ipod touch will not sync to my dlink. My two laptops, and Ipad are already on. I have tried resetting and still it will not sync.

What happens when you try to connect to the Wi-Fi? Any error messages? Have you tried a hard reset of the iPod? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, work through the remaining troubleshooting suggestions in this Apple support document.

Wow .... so you are syncing via WiFi when you sync .... would that be correct?
I would still quit iTunes and then restart and see what happens. The iPad and iTunes must be playing some weird games.
If you do sync via WiFi (I do), I think you are better off closing iTunes when you are done - unless of course you are using iTunes for Home Sharing or something like that. My experience is that if you leave iTunes running, the iPad and iTunes just start sending weird signals back and forth.
Since I started Wifi syncing, I have seen messages in iTunes that made absolutely no sense at all. Anyway, that's my take on it. If you do not WiFi sync, then I have no clue why you are getting these messages.

I added the new page tab in the Application “Siebel Universal Agent” and I compiled the project “Xxaa New Project” and “Siebel Universal Agent”. After I logged to “Call Center” but I don’t see the new Page Tab
I navigated in application “Navigate --> Site Map --> User Preferences --> Tab Layout”, but my new page tab "Xxaa New Screen" isn't checked the flag "Hide"
Also I added new Responsibility: "Xxaa New Responsibility" and I added the new view "Xxaa New View" and the User SADMIN has grants.
What I need to do?

I created these objects:
1- New Project : Xxaa New Project
2- New Table : CX_PROJECTS
3- New Business Componet : Xxaa New Business Component
4- New Business Object : Xxaa New Business Object
5- New View : Xxaa New View
6- New New Applet : Xxaa New Applet
Finally I added the new screen (Xxaa New Screen) to application "Siebel Universal Agent" in the new page tab. I compiled the all objects and projects and I copied the file srf to the SERVER. And I created new responsibility (Xxaa New Responsibility) and I added the view (Xxaa New View) in this responsability.
But the new tab is not seen.

Go to appleid.apple.com and sign in with your current Apple ID
Change the Apple ID to the old one and save changes.
Sign in on the device with the same password for your account.
After logging in and signing out of Facetime, Messages, iCloud and itunes and app store, go back to Apple ID.com and change it back to your normal Apple ID.
Go to your email account and reverify your account by clicking on the Verify now link
Now re-login to those services with your normal Apple ID and password.

I was trying to merge my iPhone contacts with my mac. However, after the info tab at the sync I do not get the option to merge. only overwrite the iPhone or the mac.

I just set up my iphone at the cell phone store - they transferred my contacts from my phone (not mac/iphone related) I now want to merge my iphone contacts with that in my mac. Aftere the uncheck the "Automatically sync and info tab. I do not get the option to merge the two. Only options to overwrite the mac or the phone.

Did you click on sync iphone with this computer in itunes? Should be in the center left under the info tab.

New IPOD Nano will not sync. iTunes recognizes it, I think. It knows its there and says I can transfer purchases from it but it will not let me sync it to my existing itunes.

I received a new IPOD nano for CHristmas. Itunes shows it there on summary, it is showing with the eject symbol.
However, when I go to file/sync, it allows me to transfer purchases but not sync it. It also does not show up in my playlist like my older NANO does.
I have reset, I have toggled security on and off. I am current on the software on both my IPOD and ITunes.

I was having the same problem...plugged in my new device and although I was able to set it up and it was recognized in iTunes, hit the sync button and nothing...even when it said it was syncing, still nothing. I am not sure this will work for you but I did two things that were suggested in this forum in combination with one another.
First, I plugged my Nano into different USB port on my laptop from the one I was using. when I reconnected, my devie again was displayed in the top right corner. I clicked on it and the summary page appeared. The one thing I hadn't done is go to the "music" tab. When I arrived there I found that the "sync music" tab was unchecked for some reason. I checked the block and instantly the download started.
As I said, I don't know if you have tried this or if it will even work for you but after an hour of frustration...I felt a little silly that it was something so simple I had negelected and thought I would share.
