New install crashes at "initailizing files"

Question

I have a new computer (Acer w/ Vista) that refuses to run
Dreamweaver. I initially installed the CS3 Suite - all programs ran
just fine except Dreamweaver. It would begin, but crash at
"initailizing files". It did this from the very first time I tried
to open it. I have since moved the Suite to another computer. Now
its a few months later and again I tried downloading the
Dreamweaver CS3 trial and I get the same result. I have read where
others had a similar problem when a website file hit some magic
file size. But this is a new installation that has never run. Any
ideas out there??

I seriously doubt that this would happen.
The right way to deal with this problem is to submit a
support ticket as you
suggest. On windows the crash logs are saved on the desktop.
